Measuring 18" tall and 13" wide with a 10"T x 8"W picture frame. This may originally have been gilded. One back corner has either exposed gilding or has recently had gilding added. Easel stand in place. Could easily be hung on a wall. In great condition. With minor black paint loss/ chipping and 3 out of 6 levers for holding picture are missing- the top and 2 sides are present and are sufficient to secure a picture. HEAVY!

Old antique vintage picture frame large fancy ornate bronzed 33.5 by 27.5 inches
I guess this would be called bronzed or antiqued or something along those lines. I don't think incredibly old. But does show some age, and hardware looks fairly old. It is pretty big, measures 33 1/2 by 27 1/2 inches overall. I think would be considered good quality, but I know very little about frames. Will weigh about seventeen pounds packaged and has to ship Priority mail which is more expensive, but USPS has eliminated parcel post.

It does not look original Both frame and die cut scrap are in very good condition for their age; there is very tiny loss of gesso on frame at top right corner. Gorgeous Antique Brass Picture Frame with Original Glass and Tin Backing
Up for auction is the beautiful Antique brass picture frame. It is marked NB& IW. The National Brass& Iron Works of Pennsylvania. The NB& IW Co. Started in 1891 and went out of business in 1911. Their items are not rare but not very common. I found that they made picture frames. Mirrors, plant stands and even a couple lamps have surfaced. The frame is in great condition with normal patina on brass of that age. It has the original glass and tin and can either stand or be hung. It is sold as is, as see, in good antique condition. It would be a great frame for an old or new picture. I saw another antique frame that was made into a small mirror. It measures 8-12" x 5-5/8" and would be just right for a 5 x 7 photo. Antique Needlepoint Cottage Sampler Picture in Tramp Art Frame, Gold Liner
This antique needlepoint of a cottage is framed in a tramp art type frame with leaves on the corners. It is styled like one of the old framed mottos. But in this case is indeed a picture. The threads appear to be wool. The colors are nice and bright There is a gold inner frame around the interior: there is gold loss and a spot where one of the added nails( see photos of reverse) came through and left a little hole in the gold part of the frame. There is a crack on one of the wooden leaves, but no loss or breakage. As for the needlework itself, it is well-done but not fine. There are several small spots across the sky with no thread, but it looks as if they were originally there. The“mat” is a reverse painted one, and there is significant flaking along the left side. BIG! 28" Antique Silk Embroidery Picture Georgian Needlework Tapestry Gilt Frame
In my several years of collecting antiques. This large and beautiful wool on silk embroidered picture is the oldest thing to enter my house. It is a Georgian needlework(that is, it was made in England during King George II's reign: late 1700s or early 1800s) It portrays the Biblical scene of Christ at Gesthemane: Jesus is contemplating the beautiful golden angel's"cup of poison" with a troubled expression, while his sleepy disciples doze in the background. This piece is exquisitely detailed and has wonderful rich color; I've included a number of closeup photos so that you can see the lovely details in the hand-painted canvas and the shading in the embroidery. Jesus is the focal point, in his gorgeous cherry-red embroidered wool robes; the disciple in the foreground wears sky blue shaded with sapphire, and the angel is ... moredone in a range of shimmery golds, soft greys and creamy off-whites. I'm not sure what all of the brown shapes on the ground around Jesus's feet are supposed to be! Including the dimensions of the frame. This piece measures 28 inches tall by 23 inches wide by 2.25 inches thick. The large, heavy wood and gesso gilt frame is original to the piece, and the antique glass is reverse-painted with a black border. The back of the frame has a wonderful antique label from a restorer's business: it reads"L. Tayler, Picture Cleaner(from 32 Little Bell Alley) The label looks as if it cannot be more recent than the 19th century; I did a little bit of research and looked up"Little Bell Alley, and found that it was a street in London that existed at least as early as the 1700s. It is interesting to think that this picture was already old enough to need restoring when"L. Tayler" came along. I removed the picture from the frame in order to gently clean the glass. In the process of doing so. I made a discovery that helps to date the piece: the frame's inside edges are lined with antique printed pages. I am pleased to offer this beautiful SOLID brass art nouveau frame. The workmanship is amazing with raised reticulated corners and beautiful embossing on sides and around oval picture frame. The size is approx. 5 1/2" H x 4 3/4" W x 1" The oval picture area is approx. 3 3/4" H x 3" W. The back of the frame is held in with tiny brads(not original) The frame is slightly dented where the brads are. But that is common in a frame this old. There would be no problem straightening it but it is very slight. I try to bring out every detail) The back is a moroon velvet that shows wear and the easel has a bend or crease, but the ribbon is still intact and works beautifully. There is also a ding in the velvet above gold ring hanger. The brass is a beautiful rich golden color that is not showing well in the photos and there is ... morea small tarnish on two of the sides. From the northern Dutch province of Friesland. Where the art of chip carving has been perfected over many generations comes this Frisian standing picture frame measuring 9 5/8" by 7 1/2" the picture opening is 5 3/8" by 3 1/2" Well carved with geometric patterns traditionally found in Dutch chip carving. The frame comes with its original back and hinged stand as shown. In good but used condition. Consistent with its circa 1920 vintage normal and expected wear is present as shown. This lovely old photo/picture frame is wood with convex glass. The measurements at the OUTSIDE edge of the frame are approximately 16 inches tall by 13 inches wide. Aside from some dirt which is on the inside of the glass. The convex glass is in perfect condition. The oval wood frame has a few dings, most noticeably in the top left inside(see photo) but overall, in nice shape. One side of the backing is loose. Just missing a small nail. The photo is of a BEAUTIFUL little girl, perhaps about 2 years old? She is radiant in her dress, stockings, and shoes! Even a little chain around her neck! Photo is in pretty nice condition as well, ESPECIALLY for something of this age. Based on her clothes, I'd say it dates to the 1920's, maybe earlier. Very special.
