These perfume bottles are from the 1920's. The pair are frosted glass with a vein type pattern. They are 6 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter. The single bottle is 1 1/2 inches tall. 3 3/4 inches with the atomizer included. The rubber in the atomizer is in good shape and still pumps air. These are sod as used/as is. Playful cherub stoppers and a bird with botanicals inside. This gorgeous set of perfume bottles most likely manufactured by Stylebuilt. However their paper labels are long since gone. The sides are gold gilt open filigree; centers have beveled amber glass with the glass perfume bottle encased inside a metal filigree center. The gold has a lovely finish and nice patina to it. The stoppers have a metal finial with glass daubers; the perfume bottle insert is removable by unscrewing it. Each piece is quality and substantial in weight. There are intricate details throughout the bottles themselves. Stoppers have a cherub holding a bird and inside on the botanical filigree ... moreis another bird. Overall fanatstic detail throughout each bottle. The stoppers are both in very good condition however one has a crack is loose and needs to be repaired(SEE PHOTOS) Secured better to its base; I believe this to be an easy repair though I choose to leave it in‘as found’ condition. In very good condition with general wear commensurate with age, a small chip in the veneer visible on the front of the box, a tiny flea-bite or two on the perfume bottles. Overall quite beautiful. It is signed on both the botttom of the black lid and the bottom of the bottle and it reads what looks like 62 f.111. I don't have a clue what that is or means. Antique Victorian Edwardian Perfume Ornate floral leaf Filigree Scent bottles tray not included in listing click picture to enlarge I pleased to be offering this antique pair of hand made mold blown glass scent/perfume/cologne bottles encased with a silver colored filigree overlay. This set comes with one round or globe shaped bottle and one cylinder shaped bottle. Both hand made. They have 3 visible vertical side seams stopping at the bottom neck of the bottle. The round bottle has a flared lip finish where the cylindrical bottle appears to have an applied lip finish. The round bottle and solid matching stopper have a swirl mold blown pattern which is felt from both the inside and outside of the bottle where the cylinder bottle has a smooth finish. Both bottles appear to have been made with removable base plates, however, they do differ, ... moreand the casing makes it difficult to examine. Both stoppers appear to have an original fit, although I question the stopper for the cylinder shaped bottle due to the metal casing not being an exact pattern match as well as it being the only piece to show wear to the casing. The stopper does fit into the bottle nicely as an original stopper would. Characteristics of glass are indicative of glass made in the ca. 1900 time period or earlier. Both created with an elegant silver colored leaf/vine robust casing. This could be silver plate or pewter(not magnetic) True composition remains unknown. These have been black light tested and glow a very deep fluorescent yellow color. Another sign of ca. 1800-1900 dated glass, with the exception of American Brilliant Period which typically glows Apple Green. Keeping in mind all black lights will result in different colors depending on the black light properties. I have tested many different types of glass. Early American Pressed, American Brilliant Cut, Depression Contemporary or Modern, Czech, and other European, and can now leverage my particular black light to distinguish, along with other glass characteristics, time periods and origins

2 Antique 19thc RARE Daum Cut Glass Gilt Cologne Scent Perfume Vanity Bottles
The photos do not do these bottle justice! RARE 19thc. Daum cut glass cologne scent bottles. They looked like rock crystal. But I believe they are glass. Beautifully cut with patterns at the neck, top mid section with roses and ribbons, and at the base. Gold gilt is painted into the engraving. Both bottoms are in gilt(style of mark dates to 19thc, Daum- the Cross of Lorraine- Nancy. One is slightly taller and thick glass than the other. They measure roughly 10 1/2” including the stopper. Faceted on the neck and body. Photographing these was difficult. They were filled with sugar in order to photograph them without the pattern on the reverse showing through. Condition- Intact. No repairs. Wear to the gilt in the carvings. 1 bottle has a chip on the lip. Both stoppers have cracks in the bases of the stopper. No chips or cracks to the bases. ... moreOverall glass clarity is vg- excellent. there are a few spot in body and at the bottom that I couldn’t clean. My bottle brushes are long enough or thin enough to get in there; in other words. I do not know if the glass is stick in spots. I had a memory than these had an internal crack in the body of 1 of them. I can not find it! You will be purchasing this with the knowledge that there might be a 1/2” internal crack. Antique Pair Edwardian Perfume Bottles
This Lovely pair of perfume bottles date to Circa 1900. This is a matched pair with brilliant cut glass bodies and faceted cut stoppers. They Measure 5.75" High with their stoppers x 2" Wide x 2" Deep. Condition: One has a few flea bites on the top of the rim seen with a magnifier. A few small flakes on the bottle itself again seen with magnifier, and heavy chipping on the base of it's stopper. The other bottle has a few tiny fleabites on the stoppers facets.bottom of stopper has no chips or fleabites. It also has a couple of tiny fleabites on the body itself and a round circle on it's base where it appears to have possibly been ground at one time. This auction is for a RARE find of 4 Melon shaped. Lidded Perfume or dressers bottles. The Silver lids are hallmarked for London in the year 1910 and with the markers marks for Mappin& Webb. The lids have the Louis Philippe or Sevres Double L's engraved into the top and have gilded edging with a silver top surface- there is some light dents and some wear to the gilding. The bottles are in very good condition and remarkably clean with no hazing or staining. The two larger bottles stand approximately 4 7/8 inches tall and 4 1/8 inches in width and have a weight of 704 grams and 656 grams. The two smaller bottles stand approximately 4 3/8 inches tall and 3 5/8 inches in width and with a weight of 392 grams and 493 grams. The English also used these, often though, the ... moreEnglish shagreen is of a coarser scale and not so fine as the French, who seemed to use only the belly leather of the stingray to get this very fine pore leather you see here. Yes, shagreen is the leather from the stingray, sometimes from shark as well, but for the most part it was the stingray. The leather is singularly spectacular for that reason alone, but look at how well this etui has survived, which is not the case so often in these, since they were functional and not just decorative objects. The set includes almost all of the original fitted implements as you can see. The one scent flask has a missing silver lid, and there would have been a tiny silver funnel resting in that velvet tube/post between the bottles, which is no longer in place. Antique Tantalus with Three Crystal Perfume Bottles Circa 1920s
Gorgeous original Tantalus offered for auction. I purchased this piece 12 years ago. The bottles were said to be perfume bottles although now. Having researched the"tantalus" I'm beginning to wonder if that's accurate. The bottle in the middle is not part of the matching set ~ although it may be the more valuable of the three due to its sterling silver collar and the makers marks. Additionally. I believe the stopper to one of the other bottles is not original. It doesn't fit securely in the neck of the bottle like the other one does. Overall the box is in pretty amazing shape considering its age. The linings are also very nicely preserved. There is no evidence of water damage to the wood or the fabric ~ something I would always look for. While there is a key hole. There is no key. The brass fittings are in very good ... moreshape. The beveled glass on the front is in amazing shape. There are no scratches or nicks. Overall, considering this 7 piece set is +85 years old.it's in remarkable shape. Nice group of 4 antique bottles. First is a ed. pinaud Paris perfume bottle.Stands about 6" tall. Second is a bitter style bottle,has bubbles in glass and is pretty thick,stands about 7" tall. Third is a Thomas A Edison battery oil bottle,stands about 4" tall, last a cobalt blue Emerson Drug Co. Bromo-Meltzer bottle,stands about 2 1/2" tall. All of these bottles are 80+ years old.All are from a construction site on the north side of Chicago and came from a depth of 8- 10 feet deep. These are a pair of very handsome 19th Century French antique crystal rib cut cologne/ perfume bottles for men or women. Star burst cut on the bottom with ground stoppers, sterling collar and the decorative cap is also sterling silver with a repousse engraved design. The larger bottle is 5 1/4" tall, 2 1/4" across at bottom, ground stopper, no nicks. Smaller bottle is 5" tall, 1 7/8" across bottom, ground stopper, very small nick in one or the ribs. They measure about 7 7/8" tall. They are both in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The mouth area on one is not perfectly round. Just a function of being hand-made glass. There is a small wrinkle or crease in the glass near top of one stopper, done in the making. There is some mild rubbing to gold decoration but it is mostly intact. Bottles and stoppers are numbered. I really don't know the age. These are all clear glass with removable glass stopper tops. The tallest one stands 7 1/2" tall. One stopper does have a few chips on the bottom and the tallest one does have a flea bit on the edge of the stopper. And one has a tiny bit of roughness around the opening edge. I am making these sound worse than they are, but I am trying to point out all of the flaws. Also please note the different in color in the bottle. This is an exquisite piece. It is hand painted with delegate floral accents. The base color I am not sure what the"correct term is" but it is an Aqua. Or Ice sea green. The gold trim is 14K. It is a 7 piece set, 1 tray, 1 powder jar, 2 perfume bottles, 2 perfume bottle stoppers complete with cork. This whole set is in wonderful shape except for one of the stoppers had been broken and glued back together. They are 2-3/4" and 2-1/2" tall and each about 3/4" in diameter. One cut glass bottle has a sterling silver screw cap that is marked for Birmingham. Sterling and date coded for 1903. That cap has dents. The second bottle with a paneled glass shape has a hinged Unger Brothers(marked 925 Fine with the Unger Brothers mark) lid with lovely openwork design. Antique 2 Hand Blown Bottles & stoppers WHISKEY DECANTER Barber Lotion Perfume
WONDERFUL Pair of Bottles with matching stoppers. Both are in excellent condition as far as I can see. One does have a small popped air bubble close to the surface. That can be felt. They are a little cloudy but not to bad, I have"not tried" to see if any solution would work to clear them better. They have a little gray or purple tint probably from the sun unless it is the color of the glass. It is hard to tell if it is gray or purple, as they still are pretty clear in person. They vary in height by 1/4" Both have a 3" base and they extend out to 4" wide where they puff out towards the lower part. One is 12 3/4" to the top of the stopper and the other is almost 13" The bottle height without the stopper is one at 10 1/2" and the other 10 3/4" There is a place on the front designed as a shield. Where ... morea label would have been placed. I would guess these were about 1870's. I do not know for sure and have read and re-read all the information about old bottles and still I cannot figure them out well enough. I am pretty sure they would have been blown in a mold and a lipping tool was used. So I guess they would fit some where between 1850- 1890. I am selling them without the knowledge of the date. Maybe the buyer will have more knowledge. They are very pretty as made. I especially like the differences in the bottle neck inside width and of course the lovely stoppers. I will send them insured.
