This auction is for an original mid to late 1800s brass miners lamp. The lamp has markings which I will try to write out. But some is worn off and hard to read. The stamp says ~~Bougeoir De Surete Fama~~Brevete S.G.D.G. France Et Etranger~~Then there is a dragon or serpent design~~Agents 15 Faub Monimare Paris~~. Some of this is hard to read and there is some worn off as the serpent is very hard to see. Not sure who is the maker but is definitely an early piece. The lamp measures 11" tall ... morewith a 4" diameter base. It has the original glass which is untracked. Original handle, and the hook for hanging. The metal mesh mantle piece has been smushed in few areas but not cracked or broken. There is one dent alongside the bottom rim but otherwise a pretty clean lamp with some small spots of corrosion and wear consistent with many years of use. I did not unscrew or attempt to test this in any way, it will be sold as you see it. If you have any other information on this lamp I would of course greatly appreciate it! Antique 13 " Figural Base Glass Font Oil/Kerosene Lamp
13 inch high figural stem oil Lamp. This lamp has a 4 7/8 X 4 7/8 inch X 1 inch high metal base. The figure is the bust of a beautiful woman. The figure is 6 inches tall and is supporting a brass colored base that holds a glass font for the lamp oil. The glass is 3 1/2 inches tall and 6 inches across. On top of that is a brass colored cover that the burner screws into. The glass font has some etching on it. There are 2 cracks in the glass font. The font could be turned so that the cracks were in back. Lamp has fine detail.

Two Beautiful Antique Victorian Lemon Tinted Glass Lamp Shades Oil Lamp Shades
TWO BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE VICTORIAN LEMON TINTED GLASS LAMP SHADES OIL LAMP SHADES Lovely pair of antique shades which measure just over 7 1/2 inches around the lemon area which would be the top on an oil lamp shade and just under 4 1/2 inches around the base. These would both be hand made and so are very slightly different in size. The condition of both is good with a few very small nibbles around the inside of the base and one does have a ding on the top edge of the yellow and the other is fine. Will be well packed for their journey.

Antique French bronze and lime green glass oil lamp. With a clear glass funnel. The lamp is in excellent condition for its age.The wick winder works fine. It is however. Leaning slightly to one side. As far as I can see there is no reason for this, apart from how the lamp was put together. There is slightly more white plaster adhesive showing on one side where the font is attached to the bronze base, than on the other, so it looks like it wasn't quite sitting square when the base was fitted. A professional can probably take the lamp to pieces and reposition the base. Alternatively it looks just fine as it is. If it is turned slightly, you can't see it leaning. Up for purchase at the Blue Front Shoppe Collectibles is a antique MERIDEN BRITANNIA COMPANY SILVER PLATE AND MILK GLASS OIL LAMP~~ ~ 9" T x 4 7/8" Rd. base ~ The metal at neck of lamp looks like brass ~ The wick piece is made by EAGLE and still has wick but does not go to original lamp ~ This piece just sits in lamp because where it screws to lamp is to small~ ~The milk glass you can tell is very old with imperfections in the glass and about 16" in diameter ~ I see no damage to the glass ~ The base silver plate part 4 5/8" tall and could still use some cleaning but there is also wear and missing silver where it was carried around from room to room ~ You can tell where the middle was carried by hand and on round base where the palm of the hand rested ~ ~On bottom base is the embossed Meriden marks and the# 1770 on side ... moreof the markings ~ There is also the glass chimney which is 8 3/4" T and is not the original one ~ I'm including both the wick piece and globe but again the do not go to this oil lamp as original ~ Weight is 1 pound 14.6 ounces before packing ~ ~History: The Meriden Britannia Company was formed in 1852 in Meriden. This beautiful antique"Gone With the Wind" style Victorian oil lamp has been converted to electric. The shade of green shows a little light in the pictures; it's a pastel lime green. No shade. Works great. But needs a quick repair, as the bulb socket is depressed(sinking into the body of the oil well) and needs to be pulled into position. I don't want to take it apart since I know nothing about repairing these. Handpainted multicolor floral design on both sides, bottom metal stand is impressed FC CO on one side and 617 on the other. No chips or cracks, in lovely condition. About 12.25" in height, not including the bulb.

Antique Ornate Victorian Plant Oil Lamp Lantern Bird Cage Wall Hanger Pat. 1872
Up for auction is a lovely and sturdy Victorian Era wire wall hanger. These lovely old hangers were used to hang plants. Lanterns or oil lamps, or bird cages. The hanger is stamped on the back: PAT D NO. 5 1872 The hanger is decorated with a line and scrollwork pattern and has a modified fleur de lis at the bottom. It is a very sturdy piece and to hook arm is solidly attached to the backplate. This is a fixed arm hanger and it does not swivel. The backplate measures 6 1/4" high and is 2 1/4" across at the widest point. The hanger arm extends 9 1/2" from the backplate and 9 3/4" from the wall when hung. The hanger is in very good antique condition with a lovely patina. I took photos with and without flash. So please look closely at the photos to make your own determination of condition. Antique Sitzendorf figural oil lamp with cherubs 19th
This oil lamp is 10 7/8 inches high to the top of the burner. It is approximately 6 inches in diameter at the widest point. The base is adorned with two cherubs with their hands raised. The center post of the base is adorned with applied flowers. The top has hand painted flowers and is molded with floral decoration. The metal collar of the lamp is marked Evered& Co. Ltd. The bottom of the piece has the Sitzendorf mark that was used from 1887 to 1900. The top has been glued to the bottom and looks to be a little off center and is causing a slight lean to one side. The top does work well with the bottom but we can not be for certain that it is original. There is a chip to the corner of one of the feet. There are also some flower chips.

Fabulous! This is a very rare. Antique spelter figural miniature oil lamp in Frankart style. Dating to the early 1900s, this beautiful lamp features 3 female figures mounted on beautiful marble. The figures are spelter with the two side nude figures in a silvered bronze finish. The center figure is an exceptional design. She is a fortune teller or genie, holding an Aladdin lamp. This figure is painted spelter and is adorned with ornate turbin, rhinestone earrings and a pearl necklace. She is an exotic beauty! On her lap is an Aladdin oil lamp(miniature) with original burner and glass shade. The two side figures look to be in anticipation of perhaps a wish to be granted by the genie/fortune teller. The marble base is a nicely patterned black with tan veining. This is a rare piece! The lamp is in good antique condition. Is 9 inches wide Font is also 9 inches wide It has the Fostoria marking on the underside of the Metal Ornate Base. Antique Bradley & Hubbard Electrified Oil Parlor Hurricane Lamp Green & Floral
This listing is for a beautiful. Antique Bradley& Hubbard, electrified oil lamp. It measures 16.5" to the top of the socket area and about 6.5" square across the bottom of the base. The bottom of the base is marked with the number 311. The tank knob is marked B&H, and the wick knob is marked: Pat Applied For. The lamp has a pull chain switch. We have tested it, and it does work. When the converted the lamp, they didn't damage the tank, so it can be converted back to oil. If you look at the last photo, you can see that there is a split in the ring that fits over the base of the lamp. The plug end should probably be replaced, it's old, and the cardboard piece that covers the opening is missing. Shipping is based on 14lbs, packed weight.

Decorated in gold fleur-de-lis designs, seperated by gilt brass fittings, topped with a kerosene tank and removeable fixture assembly and glass chimney. The lamp was in the process of being converted to electric at some point in the past, but this work was not completed. The bottom of the kerosene tank is stamped: Vaast NY- Maker" the glass is more than likely French made, and is definately in the French taste! This is opaline glass and is NOT cased glass. The chimney is a later, but, antique replacement. This is a beautiful old authentic Aladdin oil lamp. It has a 10" milk glass shade colored in a pastel yellow and in a swirl pattern. The lamp itself is all brass and is in it's original condition and has NOT been converted to electricity. The wick adjustment knob is marked" The mantle lamp company of America Inc. Chicago model no.11 ALADDIN made in USA. The burner is marked"flame spreader no. 11. Total size of lamp is 21" tall to top of chimney. The shade is 10" in diameter and 6 1/4" tall This was purchased at a farm estate sale in Wisconsin. This lovely antique lamp has a flawless green onyx and brushed bronze base. This heavy victorian beauty has been converted to electric and is ready for display in your home. A breath taking piece. Height from base to top of finial is 34.5" Width of base is 7.5" Width of shade is 18" and height of shade is 11.5" Total height of lamp with shade is 38" This rare lamp is in great vintage condition and is absolutely gorgeous. It's is quality made and is extremely heavy! I could not find any cracks or chips on the base or glass slag shade. There are a few small spots where the bronzing has come off on the base and there are some small dents and dings(shown in pictures) None of the damage to the base is noticeable when the shade is on. There is a slight bend to the screw where the finial goes on so the shade takes some ... moreadjusting to sit level. This could probably be fixed. The lamp could also use a cleaning.
