The Dome is also in very good condition with very few nicks and scratches. There are some light scratches on the pendulum and brass base. But nothing distracting. We have up for sale a nice old German shelf clock. Has been running in our house. There is no glass on face. There is paint scuffs on case and looks like the little knob on top of case has been reglued. On back of case there is a label saying Teutonia Clock Manufactory. Under trademark shows Made in Baden. Under that is the word Warranted, then P.H.S, then it is numbered(can make out only 351) The P.H.S stands for Phillip Haas& Sohn. There is another label at the top on back of case saying(name) Jeweler and Silversmith established(unreadable) then Hemel Hemstead. There is small damage to the wood on case where this label is(as shown in pic) On the movement there is a mark with P.H.S with a rabbit above it. Comes with pendulum and key. For auction today is this very cool Antique Mantle Clock. Possibly Ingraham. Balloon style. I think it is Ingraham because of the design and the clock hands used. This clock is for restoration. I hope noone uses it as parts. The case is ornate and beautiful. The mechanism is there. But not sure if it's original. It is missing the bottom glass in the door. It may have been plain or reverse painted. The key is there. The spring on the chime is working perfect. The main spring is loose. The minute hand is not fit tightly. Not sure what that needs. This large antique mantle clock retains its original Gold Gilt surface. At the top is an ancient medieval King on horseback. Measuring across the front, this Victorian mantle Clock is 17” long by 5” deep and the overall height to the top of the King’s crown is 18” There are some problems with this clock. The horse and rider are attached and there is a break to the foliage at the back of the clock. There also is a break to the horse’s right rear leg. I found another break to the tip on the detailed frame around the 4” diameter porcelain face. This clock never had a glass crystal and you can see fine hairlines to the porcelain face. Both springs are in perfect, strong, condition and this clock is ticking without its pendulum. When I went to hang the original pendulum I realized that the two small pins and spring steel piece are missing. I know in the right hands this clock can be brought back to working condition and to make sure some eBayer wins this clock it is listed without any reserve! As always. This is an Antique Seth Thomas 6 Pillar Adamantine Shelf Mantle Clock Original. We bought this along with 3 others at auction. It is a fantastic working piece. As you can see in pictures it needs a cleaning desperately. If we had polish and had polished it. It would look extremely nice. It does run fine. I was reminded by my better half that I forgot to picture key. All brass on clock is in excellant condition. On bottom of clock mechanism is stamped 80T which we think is model of mechanism. Antique New Haven Congressional Mantle Clock (Working) Strikes Hour & Half Hour
This is a very exceptional Antique New Haven Congressional Line Mantle Clock that Strikes on the Hour and the Half Hour. It measures approx. 17 3/4" high. Base is approx. 13" Depth is approx. 6 1/2" Overall face is approx. 5 1/2" Most antique mantle clocks I have had over the years must be kept perfectly level to run properly but to my amazement I have moved it several times through the house and it keeps on running keeping time properly. Antique Ansonia Porcelain Mantle Clock Outside Escapement Working
Very nice white w/purple flowers. Ansonia Porcelain Clock, open escapement working. There is some wear, tear, and crazing to the porcelain case, as noted in the pictures and not uncommon for a piece this age. Porcelain dial is marked with the trademark"A" and" Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co. New York, United States of America" There are cracks in the dial. The braided brass bezel has a good fit and stays closed easily. Glass is intact. Clock movement sounds the hour and half hour. Has been working well and keeping time. This is a vintage and original old adamantine Seth Thomas mantle clock. The clock is beautiful in appearance with six full Pillars and brass lion heads. The clock glass faced door is intact and while in need of a little TLC overall the the clock is a real beauty. To my knowledge all parts are original but the clock is not currently in working condition. It needs to be wound to be tested and I do not have the key. Antique Ansonia Rosewood Mantle/Shelf Clock
Up for auction today is this Nice Antique Ansonia Rosewood Mantle/Shelf Clock. Excellant running condition. Measures 16 5/8" tall x 9 7/8" wide x 4 5/8" deep. A label on the back shows that it had some work done in 1985. Unfortunately I don't know what was done to this clock. I'm guessing the movement was cleaned and regulated. It appears part of the inside of the case was lines with a brown felt. It was nicely applied and has a very nice appearance. The movement is very clean and has a June 18.1882 patent date. The door glass is missing a little bit of the gold decoration. I believe the dial is a paper replacement. The door knob is thermoplastic(or gutta percha) The case finish appears to be original. Late 1800's-early 1900' s J. Kaiser of Germany porcelain mantle clock. Th e flowers and cherub are hand painted porcelain. I didn't find any chips or cracks on this clock. Everything about it is just lovely. The clock works intermittently. I was able to wind it up about one half a turn without force and it did not tick. But after handling it to clean it up. It began ticking for about 10 minut es and then stopped. I cannot wind it up any more without force. It is 8.5" in height and 8.5" at the base. ANTIQUE SESSIONS MANTLE/PARLOR CLOCK, Gorgeous, Runs Great
My hobby is clocks; I collect and repair them. I really enjoy restoring these old clocks but I simply have too many so I'm selling this beauty. It is a signed SESSIONS. Spring wound, 8 days. It is 10 and 1/2 inches tall, 16 inches wide and 5 and 1/2 inches deep. The case as you can see is in very good condition. The dial is in very good condition as you can see by the pictures. I have just cleaned(via ultrasonic cleaner) and oiled the movement with the best synthetic oil you can buy. I have refurbished the movement and put in all new bushings. Please notice the steel plates and I put in the normal brass bushings. The clock will chime once on the 1/2 hour, then the number of the hours on the hour on the gong. This is an Antique 4 Pillar Adamantine Mantle Clock Mfg. Unknown. All Original& Complete to our knowledge. It runs 5 to 7 minutes and quits. It does chime on the hour and bell dings on the half hour. It does have adamantine pillars as seen in picture#3. Has a few marks in case. I was told I should put a drop of clock oil on but left alone as purchased. Inside back cover says 11-30-27 cleaned. It measures approx. 16" wide at base(including feet) x 11" high x 6 1/2" in depth. Pictures pretty much tell the story or we have tried to show total clock& condition. There are original parts inside the clock.On the back of the dial in the gold metal appears a round logo with an inner triangle. it says made in USA with SF in the center. the number#120 is seen beneath this logo. The pendulum looks to be in fine working order. The back door closed tight with brass hinges are in good shape. It has a handsome curved ... morewood case. There are a few nicks on the surface but overall it looks fine. The close has a class cover that opens to adjust clock. There is a black smudge near the bottom of the glass cover. Made in England on the dial face so I'm assuming it was made for the famous Baltimore MD. Silversmith Samuel Kirks company that started in 1815. This clock has an 8 day movement signed that chimes on the 1& the 1/2 hour and it works great! The clock is old is shows signs of wear and some fading but over all it is still in fantastic condition. J J Elliott is a well known English clock maker that is known for making high quality movements. I do not know the age but by the looks of the case and movement I guess around 1880s. The wood has crazing or shrinkage lines but it truly just adds to it's wonderful look. It has the original pendulum I do also have the original key ... morebut it is not in the photos the door key is also the original door key. Antique Seth Thomas 8 Day Chiming Mantle Clock*Classic Styling* This nice old and classic looking clock was made by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. at Thomaston. Conn. USA, and features a famous and high quality signed Seth Thomas#89 movement, which is probably one of the most dependable movements ever made. It is in good running condition, keeping time and chiming on each hour and half hour on a single chime rod. It counts out each hour, i.e 1 chime at 1:00, 2 chimes at 2:00, etc. and announces each half hour with a single toll. Timeless in styling. This clock has already lasted at least 90 years, and with proper care should easily last another lifetime, making it a nice piece to hand down to future generations. The signed Seth Thomas silvered dial is in good condition but shows a lot of age. Wear and staining which is consistent with the age ... moreof the clock. The solid brass bezel is heavily tarnished but could be shined easily if desired. The clock case structurally is in good shape. The finish has some imperfections on the top. The pieces missing are some gingerbread that I never saw. But you can Google it to see what it looked like when new. I kind of liked it without the trim. Anyway. I have an antique Birge. Peck, Company mantle clock made in Bristol, Connecticut between 1840 and 1860. It's an 8 day, split column clock. It runs good. The middle tablet is original, but cracked. The face is in good condition except over the#2. It has the original steel hands, brass clock works, key, pendulum, weights. It's made of Rosewood. It is Civil War related as shown in pic 2 of the 13 stars. It has the original directions to set the clock running and keep it in order as shown in pic 10. This clock is a rare find. Especially being all original and working so great. It keeps acurate time. The dimensions are 19 1/2" wide across the top x 32 1/2" tall x 6" deep at the top. Weights will ship seperately.

Up for auction is a fa ntastic Water bury An tique Mantle Clock with ch imes. The cabinet and face look to be in excellent condition. Includes heavy brass pendu lum. I do not have the key so I was unable to try chime as it is set to off. Seth Thomas Antique Black Mantle Shelf Clock Adamantine Pillars Fancy Dial This is a Seth Tho mas Antiq ue Bla ck Adamantine Mantle Shelf Clock. It is an 8 day key wind time and strike clock. It has a very nice sound when it strikes the hour and half hour. It comes with the adju s tab le pendulum bob. Key is Not inclu ded in sale. C olumns are marbleized. All metal ornament s and feet are bronze colored and intact. Clock measures 16-1/2" wide by 11-1/4" high by 6-1/2" deep. Seth Thomas Label on back of clock is partially torn off. Clock is running but is being sold in"as-is condition" Movement could use a good cleaning and oi ling. Hands appear to be original and the minute has the tip broken off. The numbers on the paper dial are darkened and stained. Dial has brass overlay. The number 2 is faded. The black and adamantine ... morefinish ha ve a roughness to it in spots. A little elbow grease and it could clean up nicely. Brass bezel has 4 stress cracks on lo wer part of ring. Not noticeable when door is closed. This is a Seth Thomas Arch Top Mantle Clock circa 1850. The clock is a Walnut veneer and I have taken pictures from all angles to show the missing pieces of veneer. The face has been nicely repainted. The clock is 16" tall.11" wide and 5" deep. The clock is a strap movement and has been given a careful overhaul and runs nicely and chimes on the hour. The clock is missing the key. I purchased the clock at auction from a clock collector and repairman who went through all of his clocks both mechanically and aesthetically. Although the clock is running. For obvious reasons, I can not guarantee the clock will be running once sent through the mail. This is a Birge Mallory& Co. 8 Day Triple Decker Mantle Clock. Cerca 1840. The Case is Walnut and in very nice condition. It is 35" tall, 17 3/4" wide and 5 1/2' deep. I believe the glass was replaced sometime during the life of the clock, as well the mirror panel in the center. The reversed painted bottom panel has been has been nicely repainted. There is wear to the face of the clock as seen in photo# 4. The clock is a strap movement and has been given a careful overhaul and runs nicely and chimes on the hour. Vintage Gilbert mantel clock parts Please see the photos. You will get everything shown in the photos, great for Steampunk art Includes all the gears that were once in a whole mantle clock. Includes the winding key. Clock face. The minute hand is okay, but the hour hand is broken. I don't know if the clock mechanism works or not. It's untested. Side note: these parts were removed from an old mantel clock. The case was made of wood, but split at the top. If you're interested in the case, maybe we could work something out, but shipping would be much higher. Wooden case is not included in this auction. There is a small brass rim around the face plate(when the hinged part is opened) And including that it measures 140 mm across. If the small metal rim is not included then it measures 134 mm. And then there is the larger metal piece ... moreon the hinge(that would hold the glass, but there is no glass) the inside diameter is 132 mm, outside diameter about 141 mm. The height of the numerals on the face plate is about 18 mm. Please note that the face plate is toned/ darkened/ splotchy looking. Looks vintage/ aged. Shipping to USA addresses only.
