Very rarely seen. Cabinet is in one piece. With no repairs. Just a small chip is missing(barely visible and see images to find it) Those marble clocks are almost always seriously damaged. Not this one! Clock was found in the estate. Just like it is shown in the pictures. I have not cleaned it, not polished it, nothing. If anyone knows about this clock more and would like to share some info, I would appreciate it. The hour and half an hour alarm works(manualy set the time to test it) Clock doesn't work, but when I pushed the pendulum with my hand, works for a minute or 2(minute arm moves clockwise) but is slowly stopping. Antique French Clock Movement & Porcelain Dial parts repair shelf mantel France
For auction is this antique French Clock Movement and Dial. I believe it is made in France based on the marking on the movement and dial plan. But I'll let you judge by the pictures. The clock movement is being sold for parts or repair and look at the pictures well, because it looks like it is missing a few of the parts. The dial is procelain but has a few cracks, especially around the XII. The dial pan is marked as well as the movement as you can see in the pictures: The dial measures: 3 3/4" in diameter. From the dial to the back plate is: 1 7/8" and it is approximately 3 1/2" from the dial to the back adjustable plate. This could make you a great old replacement piece after some work or use them for parts. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Approx. 1850-1880's) The inscribed Blondeau á Houdan figural clock has an ornately decorated bronze and alabaster footed base with a small round clock resting to its left and a brass female Fileuse. Or yarn spinner, leaning upon it. The female is dressed in a square bonnet, pulled back curls, and a ruffled bustle dress with a loosely tied corset. Her dress is ankle length, a vulgar attire at the time, indicating she was of the working class. She holds a spool in one hand while drawing out string in the other. The clock is all original with a pendulum and turn key is included. Measures approx. 14 1/2" wide x 13 3/4" tall x 5 1/4' deep. Great French Empire Early 19th Century Figural Bronze Clock with Silk Thread Suspension. In Very Nice Condition Great French clock with silk suspension(thus. Dating it to the first half of the 19th century) The condition of this clock's case is very good. Original gilding is mostly in very good condition, with some tarnish, mostly on the sides and back. Beautiful fancy machined dial. The minute hand has been repaired, seems fairly well done. The silk suspension movement strikes perfectly and runs, but very tenderly- after extremely careful balancing it runs for a few hours, then often stops. So, some service(probably just cleaning) may be necessary. I am certain that I can fix this clock myself, but, unfortunately, I have virtually no time to do it. Pendulum and bell were removed to take a better picture of the movement, but both are ... moreincluded with the clock. These numbers of the clock and initials are on the works and if you wish to go research, please do. I know its circa and I know its approx. age. There are no breaks or parts removed, it is all intact. The finish is an ebonized black wood finish. The mounts are bronze and in good condition. I am selling this ANTIQUE Desk/ Alarm Clock from France. This piece has been made of SOLID metal. There is a FIXED pendulum driven movement. Which is running PERFECT. There is a PORCELAIN dial. Showing the time in Roman numbers. There are also 60 partitions; one for each minute. Making it a very precise instrument. Precise indeed. Because this clock runs perfectly on time. This clock is quite heavy with its weight of 1596 Grams! Often these clocks have severe dents or bumps in them; not to mention the scratches; thís case of this one. Hoowever, looks great. The ticking of it sounds like an engine. The alarm setting takes place in front by a large handle. The hands are made of black metal. This clock passed time without major cosmetic issues.
