Antique gold picture frame from the Victorian era(late 1800s) It has a decorative dot decoration on the interior. The frame fits an approx 11 5/8 x 16 3/4 print or painting. Its exterior dimensions are approx 15 3/8 x 20 3/8 inches and it is 3/4 inches high. The gold in the frame has been repainted sometime in the past. There is an old repair to a small crack. Visible along the top edge of the first photo. It has a few chips, dings etc as typically seen on frames of this age. It is being shipped without glass.

The frame is made of wood and the crest is metal. The back of the crest is signed as follows, 74 Pat. Applid. E.J.S. Mfg. Co. N.Y. This is best seen in photo#4. Antique Metal Filigree Picture Frame This beautiful frame displays the exquisite filigree workmanship that existed during the early 1900's. There are geometric shapes lining the front of the frame and small flowers along the back of the frame. The edge has yet another pattern. The frame appears to be made of brass. But I'm not certain. The frame measures approximately 10-1/8 inches by 8-1/8 inches. There is an OVAL inset within the 8 X 10 picture frame. Note: The photos distort the oval image and it appear to be round. However. It is a very lovely oval shape. This is in very good condition for its age. The brown velveteen back board shows some minor wear. A pin has been punctured through the back board to help secure the stand but I do not believe it is necessary. Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine Cabinet 4 Drawers & Frame Sphinx 1899
These Antique Singer Treadle Sewing Machine let and right cabinets with 2 drawers each from a Sphinx machine serial#16687005 dated 1899 has been gently restored. It should be noticed the brass handles are supposed to be slightly different top and bottom to each side. What does gently restored mean? The overall objective is to preserve as much as the old tool or item with its lifetime patina as possible without the use of power tools. Metal is typically initially cleaned using mineral oil. Or a weak solution of washing soda and water and if necessary brief electrolysis to remove and or convert rust to black oxide. Whichever method is best, a scotch brite plastic cleaning pad is used with water so the underlying metal is not damaged. A heat gun is immediately used to blow dry and eliminate moisture which is followed by a hand rubbed coat of ... moremineral oil. After letting the oil“soak in” for a day or so, the item is wiped cleaned then hand rub in bees wax to seal it. A weak solution of oil soap and water is used to remove grime, old oils and dirt from wood which is air or blowed dry with a heat gun. This is followed by a hand rub of“feed and wax" If the situation requires it, a soft brass bristle brush or“0000” steel wool is used occasionally. A couple of items should be noted. The first is this gentle process may not remove all rust or dirt, etc, as there is always a balance of limiting restoration to not affect patina. The second is that tools and items are not conditioned for use such as sharpening, tightening or replacement of parts. This is left up to the judgement of the new owner as there is a large range of utilization of older tools. Lastly, the item may have residual oil left in the cleaning process. This can be wiped off but the item may benefit from an additional application of clear oil to further enhance and stabilize the item for extended life. Pretty vintage chic French blue antique gesso wood frame, distressed gold with hearts in corners and elaborate heavy floral swags. It is considered to be"shabby" in condition with a 3" section of gesso trim at edge missing at right bottom side. Smaller section corner left, left side tiny 1/4" section and right side bottom. These"imperfections" are camoflauged by the flat dusty french blue over gold except the right bottom side needs touch up to make the frame more consistent. see pic3) It is 1.5" thick with large 9x7" oval picture window beaded trimmed in excellent condition as are the hearts in the corners and flowers. Antique Original Buffalo Bill Print and Frame / William F. Cody on Horse Isham
Offered is an original antique color print of Buffalo Bill in its original frame with glass. The picture shows Buffalo Bill/ William F. Cody dressed in his buckskin jacket. Wide-brimmed hat, and long black leather boots sitting on his white horse"Isham. The print is finely detailed and has great color. I did not take the print out of the frame, but it appears to be in very good condition with no tears, foxing, or other damage. There is one place on the frame where there is a missing piece of gesso detail(see photos) and there are fine cracks in the gold gesso edge(see photo) The front of the wood frame is a textured dark blue with gold trim. The corners of the frame have a gold gesso filigree design. There is an artist's signature in the lower right hand corner Robt. Lindneux(see photo) I believe that this old print and frame dates ... moreto 1922. The print of Buffalo Bill measures 8 1/2 inches x 11 inches. The frame measures 12 1/2 inches wide x 15 inches tall. Meticulously executed by Catherine Anne Smith when she was only 8 years old. What extraordinary skill at such a young age! Entire surface is delicately stitched with multiple images including crowns. This print of George Washington. In color, is in very good condition, the back with orignal Annesley& Vint label has never been removed, in a very nice hardwood oval frame, appears to be walnut, with original finish and a gold liner. This print is possibly a detail from the Gilbert Stuart Lansdowne Portrait of George Washington painted in 1796, three years before Washington's death in 1799, or possibly the Dodge portrait from the mid 1800s. Washington is shown with a white stock or cravat and black jacket or coat, and facing to the viewer's left. We leave this to the collectors to determine which portrait this print represents. This has no tears, no water stains, no browning. In As Found condition, with no cleaning or alteration, glass carefully cleaned only. Frame measures app 13-3/4" long by 11-1/2" wide by app 1-1/2" ... moredeep. Print measures 9-1/4" long by 7-1/4" wide Weighs 1 pound 6.4 ounces. Ships at 3 pounds, carefully wrapped to protect. Antique Adirondack Frame with English Cottage Print
This 10" x 12" charming piece reminds me of pictures I've seen photographed in old English houses. And although the print did not originally come with the frame, the Adirondack frame compliments the picture nicely. The frame, like most old things(including myself these days) does show some wear. There is a piece of the leaf missing in the lower left hand corner and the gold on the inside shows some discoloration. However, I believe this gives it real charm. On the back of the frame, I replaced the nails with eye screws and put a better backing(acid resistant board) than cardboard as well as craft paper over it. Antique Old Master style gold leaf frame/11&1/2" x 11&1/2", 9&3/4" with spandrel
If you're looking to frame an Old Master piece in an appropriate frame. Then this could be the one you're looking for. It's an Italian frame, finished in what I think is gold leaf, and I think it probably dates from the 1920s. This frame comes with a beautiful spandrel and can be used with or without it. Without the spandrel, the rabbet is 11&1/2" by 11&1/2. With it, the diameter is 9&3/4. Overall, the frame is 15" by 15. Condition is as found and as shown. I would say excellent with only a few very minor chips. Thanks for looking!

This auction is for a unique and displayable antique oval picture frame in its original leather carrying case/display box. The outside of the box consists of black leather with a gilt design on front and a collapsible leg/stand on the backside. Upon opening there is a removable oval shaped gilded metal frame with plastic/glass picture cover. The inside of the frame has a piece of flowered fabric that was put in a long time ago and does not hinder its ability to put a photo in. The front of the frame is removed by popping it out and putting it back together by applying pressure. It is attached to the box by a hook and has a padded cloth interior. The box measures 6 1/2" tall. 5" wide and about 1"deep. The removable inner oval frame is 4 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide, while the photo space is just smaller than those dimensions. ... moreThis item is in decent condition for its age. The actual picture frame has no flaws. Just some slight wear. The box's leather shows a little wear/rubbing, the gilt is bright, while the leg on the back is a little loose and there is a newer ribbon keeping the arm from opening too far. Unusual Antique Vtg Hand Painted Portrait Brooch or Pin (Sterling Mount Frame?)
This listing features a lovely. OLD, and unusual hand painted portrait brooch. The frame mount looks to me to be Sterling but I found no marks and have not taken it to a jeweler. It is 1" in diameter. The closure is the old"c" or hook closure. It is in excelent overall condition but as shown needs to be cleaned as under the glass you can see either dust or oxidation film. I did not see any initials, signature or maker's mark. If it is stated in the description that an item is sold as is. It is just that, so, please always ask questions. ANTIQUE THEO A KOCHS PORCELAIN BARBER CHAIR BACKREST FRAME
This is the Porcelain Frame for the Backrest for the Theo A Koch Chair you see in the 8th picture. The Porcelain is in decent shape. There is some wear due to age. But no major cracks or bites out of it. The locking mechanism, complete with pin, for the headrest is still in place and in working order. There are those who say this is a 1910 model chair because the patent on the headrest is 1910. The metal nameplate on the back of the chair has patent dates as late as 1914.
