For auction is an antique. Heart-shaped, goldstone pin. The pin is 5/8 inches tall and 5/8 inches wide at its widest. It is set in what I believe is a gold filled frame with a simple, swivel pin stem and open"c" catch. The pin stem extends a bit beyond the body of the frame and stone. The piece is unmarked so I am unable to say whether it was made in the United States or England. Condition is very good. Shipping is $2.00.

This is an antique tiger wood frame 16 1/2" x 21 1/2" wide. It is 14" x 18" on the inside. The print is a Morris and Bendien" Mother and Son" Isreals is in the other corner, probably the artist. The second picture is what is written on the back of the print. There is some darker places on the print that look like tornados where dirt got inside over the years and the frame has some light scratches that I touched up with stain. The biggest spot, picture 4, which is really not all that noticeable. The last picture was taken outside so there is some shading from the trees. The frame is asolutely beautiful as is, and certainly could be used this way. The most major issue is that the upper right half of the right side decoration is cracked and loose, and needs to be reglued and secured. Here is a Antique picture frame with very old needlepoint of Calia Lillies. I believe the frames date back to the 1800's. I'm not sure but I think the wood is either Walnut or Cherry. The frame measures 15 1/4" by 13 1/4" 2" deep, inside picture measures 9 1/2" by 7 1/2" The Lilly's are White with pink center with green leaves. Black background. The frame has different levels of wood with gold. Black trim and very deep shadow box construction.There are slight gaps in the mitered corner due to age shrinkage but very minor. Because of this damage I wasn’t going to buy this 13” by 15 ¼” Folk Art Sampler. But it is dated 1791, and it comes under early thin glass in a wonderful early 15” by 17” faux grained painted and gold stenciled frame. The young girl who created this sampler was named Elizabeth Biddle Ct Marlow, and along with her alphabet, she also sewed a poem, titled"Friendship. LOOKS LIKE CHALK IN PLACES, OF A BABY- COULD BE A BOY OR GIRL, BUT I SAY IT'S A BOY, AND I REFER TO HIM AS WILLIAM- BILL FOR SHORT, BECAUSE HE IS SITTING ON WHAT APPEARS TO BE A BUFFALO HIDE. HE IS WEARING A WHITE GOWN. AND HAS GREAT FINGER ROLLS IN HIS HAIR. HIS EYES ARE TINTED BLUE AND ARE THE ONLY COLOR TO THE PORTRAIT. Original Victorian era print in original antique carved wood frame Print is dated 1879. Published by True& Co, Augusta Maine Copyright by True& Co 1879 Baby’s Birthday The dated information and title is at the bottom of the print– This original print was found in this frame. Frame is wooden with tiny carved floral. Or really more like a thin line of leaves in each of the four corners. Wooden frame with green paint. The print is in very good condition because it had been protected under glass. However. The glass pane was broken so I removed it. Print shows a view of Baby’s First Birthday– Infant is in a very fancy quilted lace bunting costume/ or possibly a Christening Gown in a deeply carved ornate tapestry covered chair. Child is holding a toy or something of that nature. A Bagpipe is lying over the top of the chair– Table to the ... moreside with a glass cake stand and glass candy jar– Some type of strange food item is on the cake stand with candies surrounding it– Floral posie/ posy/ floral bouquet to the baby’s left Very interesting complex print– Print goes to the very edges of the frame– all of the dating and titling is at the very base and is almost covered by the frame– please see the gallery photos that you can zoom and enlarge for the titling and close-ups of various sections- they are also a bit clearer- piece is better than my photos) Size: Entire piece measures approx 15 3/4ths by 11 ½ inches. Glass that originally covered the print broke, so there is no glass covering the print. Frame is good, but does show wear to the green paint and some chipping to the wood. This is a 2 1/4 x 3" oval picture of George Washington in beautiful period color.I can't tell more about this picture because I did not want to take it apart and risk damaging it. Someone already put a tear on the rear frame cover trying.It is enclosed in an Antique brass frame which is unique in itself. The frame is 4 11/16 x 6 11/16 in size and has a oval brass frame around the picture also.
