The cast iron has a wonderful, aged brass/bronze patina. Great, contoured legs with acanthus decoration and paw feet. The padded bench has some wear on the corners. ORIGINAL Antique 1905 Taber Prang Chromolithograph Motto Arts & Crafts Oak Frame
This listing is for a nice old. Original Taber-Prang chromolithograph whose motto is the Scottish Selkirk Grace. This is NOT one of the reproductions that have cropped up recently on eBay, and it remains in its original 19 1/2 x 12 1/2 mission oak frame. As you'll see in the photos. It was framed with glass many years ago- helping to keep the color bright and the condition clean. As a result, its flaws are minor and it needs no apologies except one for my photography! Whether indoors or outdoors, I just couldn't get rid of the reflections on the glass. So please know that the print has no color loss and any white areas are from sunlight or camera flash. The black border of the print does have three or four small white spots(visible in the photos) where the little framing tacks have worn through the paper. And the lower right edge ... moreof the frame has a sliver/triangle broken out(see 3rd from last photo) This looks huge in the blow-up but is really not noticeable when you're facing the frame, and you're unlikely to see it unless you look for it. If you enlarge the shots of the lower right front. You'll see the 1905 Taber-Prang Art Company, Springfield, Mass copyright information. The text of the print is: Some hae meat that canna eat. An some wad eat that want it, But we ha'e meat, an' we can eat, So let the Lord be thankit. Known as the Selkirk Grace and often mistakenly attributed to Robert Burns. The prayer actually dates to the 17th century at which time is was known as the Galloway or Covenanters' Grace. Anyway. Antique Ornate Heavy Bronze Bacchus the Greek God Easel Style Mirror Frame
Antique ornate bronze easel mirror frame depicting the head of the Greek God Bacchus. The rest of the frame is a tremendous amount of work in the Art Nouveau style. This has the original easel stand on the back. And the original formed tin sheet used as the backing to hold the mirror in the frame, and what appears to be the original paper backing that sets betweeen the mirror and the tin backing plate. There is no mirror, a replacement will be required and can be acquired at any glass and mirror shop in almost all towns and cities. They are inexpensive. Manufactured around 1870. It is almost identical to a Bradley& Hubbard hanging bronze Bacchus mirror frame I have listed as well. But this is not marked. This piece is 15.5" tall. And 9.5" wide, and very heavy. The outer dimensions of this antique frame are approx. 21 3/4" x 25 3/4" The inside dimensions. What size print will fit, are approx. 14 1/2" x 18 1/2" of course, you could also use a mat) The ornate borders are wood, most of the ones you find have a plaster or gesso that is molded to shape. This is a beautiful Victorian frame. Oval with ornate design all around. Has a 1 1/2" depth. Has a pretty wedding photo in it that looks to be c1910-20. Can be easily replaced. Frame is in good condition. However has a couple of defects, two minor cracks in the wood that have been touched up and don't effect the use of the frame at all, its only on the front layer doesn't go all the way through. I have taken pictures of them close up. Frame measures 10 1/2 x 12 1/2 and the picture is 6 x 8. Very nice piece from the past. TERMS: Payment is due within 3 days from end of Auction. This is a auction is for an antique wood picture frame that is done with pyrography or wood burning. This frame has three gorgeous poppies that have been painted red and green. The rest of the frame is done in a swirl pattern. The opening has been offset which is very unique and different than most of these types of frames. But, I would date this print and frame to the late 19th century. The frame is exquisite with lovely filagree roses and a center bow decor on the complete top. the sides are beaded both inside and out. There is one area on the right center where the beading has broken away about two inches long. This could easily be repaired and covered. The original back is still intact and the nails holding the picture secure are definately straight antique nails. The print is lovely of a little bright eyed girl in what appears to be victorian or peasant dress. No damage to the print whatsoever and the original glass in intact in great condition. Vintage Antique Oval Wooden Picture Frame Bubble Glass 23" tall
Large wooden frame is 23X16 and about 1/2" deep. Painted two shades of green with oval bubble glass intact. It had been reversed painted and the previous owner has started to remove it with I think he said acetone. Sure it would be fairly easy to do. The frame itself is about 2" wide around the front and glass opening is about 19X13. Really a nice piece waiting for a new picture.

Antique Bradley & Hubbard Ornate Cast Iron Bronzed Bacchus Mirror Frame
Antique ornate cast iron bronzed mirror frame depicting the head of the Greek God Bacchus. The rest of the frame is a tremendous amount of work in the Art Nouveau style. This has the original formed tin sheet that is the backing to hold the mirror in the frame. There is no mirror. A replacement will be required and can be acquired at any glass and mirror shop in almost all towns and cities. They are inexpensive. This is marked B&H, and has a bronze ring to hang it with. Manufactured around 1870. It is almost identical to an easel bronze Bacchus bronze mirror frame I have listed as well. But the easel mirror frame is not marked. Both were acquired from the same estate and they were used as a set, one on a parlour table, the other hanging above it. The two bottom corners of this piece have no feet as does the easel frame, and less flourish ... moreon these two corners. It is impossible to tell if this was manufactured this way as part of this set, or if an early owner had it customized this way to hang above the easel frame in my other listing. A very beautiful example of early cast iron and bronze guilding. This piece is 14.25" tall. And 9.5" wide, and heavy. Payment by PayPal only- No eChecks. This is one of the most attractive antique frames that I have on ebay right now. It is a simple frame but I find it to be a really beautiful frame. This frame is from around the 1890s and is mostly a dark black with a bright gold leaf inside border. The rabbet measures about 22" x 17" Each side of the frame measures about 1 3/8" wide. On the side of the frame near one of the corners. There is a good sized chip(measuring about 1" x 1/4" and a crack extending from that chip. However, this damage does not effect the structural integrity of the frame and it not visible when the frame is hanging on the wall as it is on the side of the frame. Because you can't see it, I would still say this frame is still in very good condition. This frame is really gorgeous. This hair wreath has a photograph in it of what I am assuming is the woman whose hair this is or maybe a combination of family members hair. This colorful framed map measures approximately 16 1/2" X 12 1/2" inside border measurements) It has slight creases from being folded and a tear in the upper right hand area, hard to see with it being framed. This is a gorgeous old Victorian tilting mirror in a larger size. 19” tall, 12” wide. The frame on this is all flowers and Acanthus leaves with a large ornate foot. Antique Gutta Percha Hand Mirror, Frame, Union Case
This rare antique Gutta Percha black thermo plastic hand mirror measures 5" wide x 9 1/4" to end of the handle. The pattern name is"Florence 12" can be seen below the mirror glass and has a patent date of June 19. 1866. The handle must have metal reinforcement inside because a crack can be seen all around where the handle meets the angled part of the frame. There are also 4 different spots(2 on handle& 2 on the frame perimeter) which appear to be caused by heat. Mirror glass was replaced approx. 20 year ago. The back of the mirror has raised embossing depicting head/shoulders of a beautiful woman wearing a large hat. Floral detailing cascades down the mirror handle. The glass mirror is framed at four corners with graceful flower embossing. This mirror is a wonderful addition to a Gutta Percha or Victorian collector.

This nicely preserved table top frame measures 10” x 6” overall with a reveal of 6 ½” x 4 ¾” and a mat reveal of 5 3/8” x 3 5/8” and back rabbet opening of app. 7” x 5” It is crafted of soft wood with very high relief. Crisp molded gesso having a warm glaze in imitation of wood and the sides of the frame have a“ragged” burl glaze. There are no losses in the gesso and the surface shows minor wear. The velvet shows fading(toward gold) of the wine velvet and significant loss to the plush. It has its original brittle pasteboard backing with original twisted wire easel prop. 2 Pair Very Old Antique Eyeglasses Very Thin Wire Frame-one Bifocal
Two pairs of antique/vintage eyeglasses. These came out of an old cedar chest. No idea where they came from or how old they are. One pair is oval shaped lenses that are bifocal. It has a pronounced nose guard. The other pair is also oval lenses but not bifocal(one is cracked) It has odd round hoop ends on the arms. Not sure why. Jan. 30. 17. 1917) AO 1/10 12 KGF SPRING" AO ="American Optical" The lenses fold together and snap tight. A spring loaded catch is released by a button to uncouple the lenses. It operates good as new. The delicate chain has a neck loop and is marked"STERLING" on the fastener. The pence nez is in very good condition for the age. Nothing has been cleaned. I think the pence nez is sized for a woman, way too small for my manly beezer. The optics are probably useful for somebodies vision. Or they can be replaced. I wish I could weigh the 10K gold by itself. The total item weight is 23.1 grams. I estimate about 6 grams of 10K gold.
