RARE ANTIQUE MARBRO MOZART 64" GOLD LEAF FLOOR TABLE LAMP 1940s MUSIC BEETHOVEN
We are pleased to offer this amazingly stunning. Beautiful, and"very rare" Marbro Mozart floor lamp. This is a stunning lamp that dates to the late 1940s. It is a large floor lamp which features a fantastic plaster cast sculpture of Mozart. The lamp is exquisitely detailed. Mozart is in powdered wig and the finest, period attire. He is depicted as playing the violin and his posture and body positioning do give the illusion of motion. The lamp arm screws into the back of the sculpture so that the sculpture itself is not directly a part of the wiring. There were not too many of these lamps made and few are still in existence today. The lamp is in good, antique condition. The wiring and sockets are original and the socket caps are missing(an easy fix) The wiring is in working order but should be addressed. The sculpture does have some ... morerepairs and some minor chips which have been retouched. The violin appears to have had the handle repaired. The bow, which slides into Mozart's hand is missing the closure clasp. NONE of these issues are terribly distracting and can be resolved. In general, the lamp is very nice for its age and is an impressive piece. In mint condition, this lamp would likely command $6000.00 or more. We have priced with the above issues considered. The lamp also retains the original shade and lamp finial. The shade has some tears but I feel that it should be included with the lamp. Please note that many of these lamps were hand made by the artists who were employed by Marbro. This is a fantastic example of their craftsmanship. The lamp measures 64" tall to the top of the shade and 60" to the top of the finial. The sculpture of Mozart is 36" tall. The wooden base is 12" in diameter. THE LAMP IS INCREDIBLY HEAVY. This auction is for a deco style glass lamp shade which has white baked or fired on finish to its paneled patterns around the upper two thirds of the shade. Clear cross grid rib pattern to the lower third of the shade, and a notched top edge to help keep your fabric shade from sliding around so much when placed on top of this shade. These were very popular on Rembrandt and other lamps in the 1950's. The mounting hole(fitter end) is 2 1/2" across to the outer edges. And flares slightly inward just below this where mounting screws would snug up to it. It measures 6" tall. And is 8 1/8" across to the outer edges of the larger top opening. It is marked National Home Lamp Council. No. 954, Patent No. 2794115 on the inside down near the smaller fitter end. It is in very good condition overall. Antique Vtg Akro Agate Green Jadeite Color Carmel Swirl Uranium Floor Arm Lamp
Hello- This is a wonderful Akro Co. floor lamp. Made during the 1920's. This lamp has been re-wired for a 3-way bulb. The base has rust, but other than that there are no knicks or chips to the shade or agate pieces. This lamp has a green tone to the base, reminding me of the jadeite colors. The shade is a soft lemon yellow. It looks fine when the light is off, but when on some of the scuffs in the paint show. Also, the shade was painted in a air-brush style, so it is not ment to be solid yellow, the white area's in the shade are as they should be. I'm thinking that a good scrub with a Mr. Clean magic eraser from the grocery store should really do a great job at getting it to look like new! The light has been superbly engineered and features a ventilated die-cast body. Fresnel Lens, 360 degree rotation, Internal reflectors and Iconic design. The spot light has been professionally polished to a bright mirror finish by a specialist British company to an extremely high standard. ANTIQUE VINTAGE PELTON CRANE DENTIST DOCTOR FLOOR LAMP LIGHT MID CENTURY MODERN
This is a very rare Pelton& Crane Co primitive dentist/doctor floor light. It is in working condition and is a very solid piece. It swivels and bends exactly as you would hope and holds firmly in whatever position you put it though it is easy enough to adjust. It is very well made and has a very heavy base for ultimate stability. The lens is blue until lit and everything appears to be original. A small switch on the underside of the light turns it on and off. It works perfectly much of the time but sometimes you need to wiggle it a little. It measures approximately 62" tall at its maximum height and 14" in diameter at the base. Overall an excellent and rare piece that would make a nice addition to any home. This is an exquisite very ornate antique cast iron and brass victorian electric floor lamp. it is extremely ornate with an abundance of intricate detailing throughout. the lamp has two detailed cast iron arms holding a generic size bulb each. they are held by beautifully dripping candle shaped socket covers and have on/ off pull chains dangling. the cylinder shaped shafts are made from brass and have a very detailed roping design. also there are gorgeous. Vintage Industrial Explosion Proof Repurposed Floor Lamp For sale is a very unique repurposed vintage floor lamp. The lamp base is a heavy steel stand with original black paint and it makes the lamp quite sturdy. The rod is black threaded 3/4" pipe with a"T" fitting towards the bottom which provides an exit route for the power cord. A steel reducer is fitted to the top portion of the pipe giving the lamp a seamless transition into the antique explosion proof light. The vintage explosion proof light is truly the jewel of the lamp and has many great industrial attributes. A white porcelain covered steel shell houses the internal components of the light. Up for your consideration is an outstanding antique Bradley& Hubbard Victorian Style Piano Table Floor Oil Lamp! This lovely and hard to find Piano Table Oil Lamp features embossed cherubs design around the cast metal font holder topped off with a 10” diameter satin ruby glass ball shade with embossed or raised grapes design and an exceptional Bradley& Hubbard embossed designed font with a 12” high glass chimney. The ornate cast metal table has fancy embossed brass tubing and legs with marble on the top table section and unique brass feet along with an ornate cast metal bottom section. The embossed brass B& H font has patent dates of Aug. 30. 1892 and Nov. 20, 96, Apr. 23, 95, Mar. 24, 96 on the burner with B& H filler cap and“PAT. APPLIED FOR” on the wick riser and it is in great working condition. It also includes the chimney ... moreholder and 4” shade holder. The font holder includes the numbers and letter“556A” on the bottom of it where it attaches. Incised on the underneath side of the top of the ornate table is the number”999“ The number“726” is incised on the underneath side of the bottom section of the table. This Lamp measures approximately 62" high to the top of the chimney in the lowest. Fully down position and an adjustable height extension to approximately 78-80"high. The table measures approximately 15” wide X 15” length and stands 31 1/4” high to the top of the marble not counting the brass tubing. One screw on the bottom section of the table. Is a replacement and would be an easy fix to replace. The chimney has a very tiny flea bite at the top. The ball shade may not be original to this lamp. It has several tiny flea bites along the edge of the base; where it sits in the fitter that are not noticeable when it is in place which is normal for these old lamp shades. Vintage Antique 9.75" Cast Metal & Green Marble Onyx Floor Lamp Base NL W/Shield
This listing is for a vintage cast metal lamp base. I don't know what the metal is. But it does attract a magnet. I also don't know if the stone is onyx or marble. The bottom of the base is marked with the letters NL inside of a shield. The base measures about 9.75" across the bottom, 3" high, not including the 4"x.75" onyx disk, and the hole in the center of the base is 1/2" thread. As you can see in the photos, the metal needs polishing, and is discolored in spots. There are no cracks or chips, and there is no wobble. Shipping is based on 10lbs, packed weight.
