The woods are mixed and different. One seems to hgave more soft wood and the other more walnut like harder wood. They have been together since day one. Whenever that was? I think they were made in about 1918 to 1923 as there was other furniture from about that period with them at one time. Looks like one or both may have been reinforced or whatever at some point that being beyond 50 years ago. They are plain but unusual and attractive as they are. Antique Very Ornate Art Deco Floor Lamp Mosaic Shade Co Chicago 1920's
65" to the top of the finial. 60" to where the lamp shade would rest. Base is 9 1/2" wide and signed Mosaic Shade Co Chicago. Sockets are signed Benjamin with both having working pull chain switches. Most of the lamp is cast iron or steel and paint looks original and still pretty nice but does have wear. The small centur urn has long necked bird head handles and the large lower urn looks like the lower decoration might be 2 people hugging or dancing-not sure about that one. Wiring is the original old cloth covered and needs replaced. The small stud bolt that holds the finial on needs replaced. You can find one at most any hardware store and if you can't find the stud you just buy a small bolt of the same thread and cut the head off. It might be possible to straighten it but I don't want to try to push on the finial ... moreand risk snapping either the finial or the lower mount for a $1 bolt. I am going to partially disassemble to ship as it needs rewired anyway. The pieces just slip back over the long iron tube center shaft and the center shaft screw onto the base and the socket assembly screws onto the center shaft on the top. Up for auction is a gorgeous antique 1900's tall cast iron decorative Art Nouveau floor lamp with a wonderful antique wicker shade. This has a nice slag glass lamp detail at the middle and a beautiful Art Nouveau final at the top. The base is a fancy cast iron vines design. This lamp is in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks in the cast iron. The finish is original and the sockets are an antique design that dates this lamp to the early 1900's. Antique Bronze Floor Lamp "EXCO" with ornate gothic carvings Dolphins, Gargoyals
A gothic antique bronze bridge arm floor lamp with"EXCO 150" stamped on the bottom of the base. The lamp has a greenish tinged in some spots that I think is from the copper in the bronze. There are several gothic figures on the piece that give it a real unique appearance. I personally have never seen a lamp quite like it. It is very heavy and the electrical works well. I have a plain Jane shade for it but this item needs a better more deserving artistic cover. The unit stands 59 inches tall and the base is approximately 9 inches square. Please study the photos and you will see the gothic beauty that drew me to this unit. As for the age. I can only guess it is turn of the century but I am not sure.

This is an estate find from a family here in Virginia Beach. There is a beautiful piece of Jadite mid way down. The lamp shade can be adjusted as seen in the pictures. The metal has gorgeous patina. Please note the stamped metal and the design. There is a number cast in the bottom of the base. E 1182, The pressed glass shade is beautiful but has a small chip inside the bottom. The jadite may have a small crack in it. Not sure if it's supposed to be there. Please note the beautifully detailed cast on the base. The lamp stands 57 1/2" tall and weighs 13 lbs. Up for auction is this handsome early-mid-century floor lamp. With a brass and marble base. The strength of steel combines to create an impressively decorative and very functional lighting fixture. Vintage Antique Industrial Operay Surgical Medical Floor Lamp Steampunk Light
For your consideration is a rare 1930's"OPERAY MULTIBEAM" surgical light. The upper section probably hung from the ceiling originally. It has been mounted on the telescoping base and works great. The 23" diameter cast iron base has pivoting casters that allow it to be moved around easily. The gear mechanism works fine an allows the mirrored lamp head to be pivoted in its yoke. In the one photo I have removed the bottom lens to show the interior convex reflecting mirrors. The sockets accept standard base bulbs(bulbs not included) The hand blown 8" glass globe on top is new and shows off a carbon filament bulb. The cord is a new 18 gauge cloth covered wire with an old fashioned two prong plug. The lamp operates great and has lots of character. The piece has light rust stains and tarnish. This is a beautiful vintage/antique Art Deco Nouveau floor lamp with alabaster/marble accents and lighted base in absolutely beautiful condition. The pictures really do not do it justice. Stands 64.5" tall. The base is about 12" wide. The lamp is very heavy and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Bronze tone cast metal(not cast iron) base and stem with light tones alabaster accents on the base and stem. The glass torchiere shade is 16" wide and made of very thick glass. It is an off-white or beige tone color with a floral/rose embossed pattern. It is in excellent shape. with no chips or cracks. This original vintage floor lamp dates from the early 1900's. Has an unusual original BIrd weathervane bridge-arm(usually cast-iron) Working socket on adjustable swivel mount.
