1850s Antique Staffordshire England Copper Luster Individual 3" Creamer Pitcher
Here is a lovely little antique creamer glazed in copper luster and made in the Staffordshire area of England from the 1840s to the 1860s. Copper luster was popular during the period because it reflected the gas lights that brightened each home in the evening hours. This creamer is an early piece with no manufacturer's mark and is made from ironstone dipped in copper luster. The individual creamer measures 3 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter from the spout to the handle. The copper glaze is in beautiful condition. With no stains. Antique Ship or Railroad Lantern European Brass and Copper Red Glass Nice
Here is a wonderful lantern. Do not know if it was used for a ship or a railroad? Either way it is a beautiful vintage lantern. It looks more of a railroad lamp. But am not an expert. The lamp has a red insert made of glass that has a crack in it. But if you look at the photos of it, there is a photo of the red insert. On another photo you can see the hairline crack. But it is not busted out. When you put it back inside the lamp, you cannot notice it. The lamp is made of brass and copper. There is a very thick wavey clear glass in the front. The dimensions are from the very bottom to the very top of the handle is 17"1/2 high. The measurement from the base to the top of the lamp part is 8"1/2. Then across the front of the lamp it is curved and measures12"1/2, and 6"from across the side. There is a brass thick bracket that ... moreis on the very back so it can be mounted to something. This lamp is in great shape. The only repair that I see is a ribbet that was on the handle on one side was missing and someone put a screw in the place. Antique GRAND JEWEL SAFE Still Bank Toy Up for bids. This nice antique cast iron and metal GRAND JEWEL SAFE toy still bank- all original. Safe is blackish brown in color with copper colored accents. Knobs on the front are silvertone. The top, front door and frame are cast iron. The sides and back are sheet metal with an embossed urn design. Front of bank reads"GRAND JEWEL BANK" A magnet sticks to all surfaces. Dimensions: 4-1/8" wide. 4" deep(front to back) and 5-1/4" tall. Coin slot measures just over 1-1/2" long. Condition: Nice antique condition with light surface rust and wear. What you would expect for the age of this piece. No breaks or repairs. On the inside of the door, the combination lock mechanism for the lower knob is missing(see last photo) The top one is in place and works fine. Antique Japanese Tanto Sword Blade Signed - Copper Habaki
This auction is for a vintage Up for auction is antique Japanese tanto sword blade with copper habaki- this is WWII vet bring back item. From my research this is a Momoyama to early Edo period item. The tang is marked with a signature(see image) The blade is flat as a traditional tanto. As well as a thick flat mune. Overall length of 15.5" the blade is 12" The blade is overall in very good condition with some light pitted and only a very few chips on the edge- see images. Notice the file marks on the edge of the tang which can help with identification, matching files marks on habaki. The habaki is in good condition with wear appropriate with age- the design is etched on all four sides of the habaki. I'll be happy to send you more detailed images if you want. It has been beautifully hand chased with floral designs. However it has also been pierced as you can see from the photos below. It is rare to find tray with pierced designs simply because it is such a hard thing to do properly. Only the finest artists were able to complete such designs to perfection. In addition there is a band of breathtaking calligraphy going all the way around the tray. This makes it a much more desirable and collectible item. Quite heavy this beautiful piece measures 8" high by 10 1/2" long(horse only) with the base he is 9 1/2" tall. Base measures 4 3/8" by 10 1/4" The horse appears to be bronze with copper accents like his hooves. Head, mane& tail as well as around the base. I believe everything else is bronze. It is quite heavy for the size. It has no markings to show the exact age but appears quite old with age wear/patina showing. The right hind leg shows a crack. Possibly re-paired but seems strong. You are bidding on a wonderful Antique wall mounted oil lamp holder that came out of a 1700's New England farm house. I do not know the age of the brass lamp holder or where it was made. The cup screws tightly on to the arm and there are two screws on the sides of the cup to hold the lamp or planter. This unusual piece of art is 11.5 inches long and the cup has a beautiful flower design. This item has been used for many years and has not been polished or cleaned and is in as found condition. Please see photos for condition. There is no wall bracket. Just the arm and cup. This item would make a nice addition to an oil lamp, antique lighting or metal work collection or as a usable home decor piece to hold a oil lamp during power outages or as a planter holder. Vintage Antique Fluted Copper American Flask and Cap Company Original Finish
American Flask and Cap Company fluted style about 8.5 inches by 3 inches. Material is copper. Seams are beautifully intact and original. Still has quite a bit of the original darkened Japanned finish on the copper and gilt on the brass. All 4 steel carrying rings are present though somewhat rusty. Original green carrying cord is present but is worn and frayed faded and re-tied but still has one of the original tassels at the end. The inner spring that operates the thumb lever does not work. There is no tension. The top must have been removed a long time ago to remove the broken spring and then replaced at a slight angle as shown in the photo. The thumb lever is free to operate the cut-off and will measure the proper amount of powder. It just has to be operated by hand instead of by spring. A frugal way for the frontiersman to save a dime ... morefor a new spring! Two very small dents, one on each side, one low in the center reed, the other low on the left reed. Antique Sterling Silver on Copper Coffee Pot or Teapot LOVELY
Here is an amazing antique sterling silver on copper coffee or tea pot for sale. This is one nice piece and in beautiful condition for its age. I did the hardest part of polishing it. But buyer may want to fine tune it and get all the nooks and crannies and the inside needs cleaned. Im not an expert on these old silver hallmarks, but I do know the upright Lion on the top mark means Sterling. The shields stand for the City and also date it I think, but I cant say for sure. See Hallmarks for yourself in last picture. It stands 10" tall and weighs just over 39 ounces. Very ornate floral design on the spout and handle, crown shaped finial, and flowers on the feet.
