Many of their clocks, like the one in this auction, were French made with the Theodore B. Starr logo on the enamel face. Measuring the white marble base, which is perfect, this mantle clock is 6” wide by 11” long and the overall height to the top of the grapes, which one Puti is holding, is 13 ½” Constructed from solid Bronze this Victorian Clock depicts two classical Puti squeezing grapes for wine. The clock is housed in a large Bronze Wine Barrel surrounded by a grape vine. The works are marked, S.H. Paris” with the serial number 45458 Both bronze Puti and all the bronze ormolu at the bottom are perfect with the original gilding. There are a couple of green verdigris spots just below the right Puti’s feet, but that’s it. The beveled convex Crystal, Enamel Face and Gilt Hands are original and perfect. Both springs are also in perfect condition and I can keep this clock working for short periods but it does eventually stop. Fresh from a recent estate sale comes this lovely old lamp base. It measures 23" tall to the top of the finial and 7 1/2" across at the base. Retains its original bronze painted finish and has original finial. There are some areas of age discoloration and a bit of paint loss but overall condition is very good. This lamp is in working condition. No manufacturer's mark. It has come to my attention that the cap and finial may/may not be original to the lamp.

Also there is a very small crack at base and some paint loss see pics. Measures 1 9" tall overall. Mirror measures 10" tall by 8" across at center, figure measures 6" tall. This is a interesting antique Tibetian or Nepalese bronze statue of a four armed lion faced diety with his tongue sticking out. Each of the four arms hold a object i.e. a conch shell. A flower. What appears to be a tamboreen and what appears to be a rattle. On the base both front and back are inscriptions. Each is different. This piece is a well done bronze and shows some age to it. The approx size is 8 inches tall by 4 3/4 inches wide at the halo that surrounds the body by 2 3/4 inches deep.

Antique Vase Wow! This auction is for a really nice and well made antique table vase. The large vase has two piece– an art glass cone shaped insert and then a three legged bronze base. The art glass piece has an unusual green iridescent. Crackle finish and it has a nice polished edge opening. The vase is typical of 1910s-1920s art glass and was probably made by one of the large American companies, like Steuben. It measures about 13½" tall and is in great condition with no chips. Because of the nature of the finish it’s hard to see if there are scratches or anything, but it looks all original. Guaranteed old and as described! Antique Chinese Style Porcelain Basket with Bronze Gilt Handle
This auction is for a porcelain basket with a bronze gilt handle. The painting is in what seems to me a Chinese style. But there are no identifying marks to validate this. The"basket" stands 5" tall from the bowl bottom to the top of the handle. The openingof the bowl is 5" in diameter. The bowl itself stands 2 1/2" The porcelain is decorated with white dogwood flowers painted in a field of green. By the feel of it. The bowl was made with an embossed design which was later painted in colors described above. I believe it to date anywhere from the turn of the last century to the 1920's. The bottom has a green mark. Which could be the initials of the artist. Looks like VE and the number embossed 2197. Lid and the bed, are held together by the bronze reverse ormolu rim, hinged in the back and with a clasp in the front. Antique Chinese? Bronze Mythical Bird with Antlers Oriental Writings on the base
I have for bid an Antique Chinese Mythical Bronze Bird with Antlers Sculpture. I have no idea on the history of this piece. I found it at an Estate Sale and they had no information on it except that it is quite old. The sculpture is made of Bronze and it stands 9 1/8" tall, and the base is 3 1/4" square. Appears to be an Ostrich Body but the head has an upward and out beak and it has Deer Antlers. There are four rings on each side of the base, and there is Oriental writing on the base, I have no idea what the writing says and would appreciate any info anyone has on the writing. I have it listed high on starting bid, and the reason I do is because this could be quite valuable and I don't want to just give it away not knowing what the writing says.
