Antique Victorian Pinchbeck Embroidery Bracelet
This is a handmade antique Victorian bracelet dating to circa 1850 or possibly earlier consisting of micro seed beads embroidered flowers and vines onto black velvet. It has a fabulous antique/original large beveled white chalcedony set clasp surrounded with etched Pinchbeck bordering. This piece does show some age on the velvet and the bead work. Approximately 10% to 15% of the beads are missing but as you can see from the photos the vast majority of the beads are present. They are very fine and in beautiful condition. The velvet is worn and looks as if it was added to at some point early on. The piece does measure 7.5 inches in length and 1.5 in width. The lining and velvet have some spots. The clasp has some wear and is in perfect working condition. It is wearable and definitely collectible.

This 16" x 20" mirror has been in the family for about 100 years. It was a gift for my grandfather from his friend. Tennis partner and business aquaintance, President Theodore Roosevelt, in the early 1900s. I inherited the mirror from my grandmother. The mirror is in pretty good condition except for a strip of wood which is separating from the frame(see picture) It's not really practical as a mirror due to the type of reflective surface which was utilized in these mirrors at the time(I suspect the mirror itself was likely made in the early to mid 1800s) However. It's a rather attractive mirror and an even better conversation piece. As the story goes. My grandfather was an avid outdoorsman and hunter when not serving as an influential New York City attorney, just the kind of man President Roosevelt liked to surround himself ... morewith. Clock is structurally sound with minimal wear. There is light scuffing to high traffic parts of the clock case including where the pendulum hangs and to the bottom of the cabinet. There is also some dust collected. The strange thing with this clock is that when I laid it down on its side to check into re attaching the pendulum. The mechanism started going, the clock chimed and seemed to be keeping time. Then when I put it back upright, the movement stopped. Which is why we are offering it for parts/repair. I was unable to attach the pendulum and the clock will arrive with the key, pendulum and a couple other goodies that I am un-familiar with. Clock measures 22" tall x 14.25" wide x 4.75" deep. This is a Beautiful Old wall Clock found at an estate sale! Vintage for sure maybe considered Antique. There is a date on the back written 1959. It is a 8 day clock. It was sold to me as Mahagony. Stands at 28 inches long x 17 inches wide. Marked PF Bollenbach Co. Germany? Also Marked G Werkman Jeweler. Milwaukee Wis. I purshased this 4 days ago and it has kept perfect time. This old clock works and has places in the back for two bulbs. It hung in my office at school for years until I retired. When i brought the old clock home. There simply was no place to hang it. This week-end, the wife and i are trying to have a garage sale and came across the old clock. It is not a typical garage sale item, so we decided to sell it on ebay. The face has a few scratches on it. The old rim around the clock that holds the glass to the body of the clock is a bit rusty and shows its age. You can see from the pictures that the clock does have all of its parts and they are original. Antique Optical Lens Test Kit 197 Lenses and Pair of test Frames Wooden Case with Lid& Bottom holding the Lens Measures 9"x 8 3/4" x 4' Unknown Manufacturer& Age I honestly do not know much about this type of item so if I have missed a detail. Please ask. This is a great set of lenses, including the frames! The frames are adjustable to accommodate different eye/facial structures, I'm assuming. We counted the lenses individually and came up with 197, and there are a few missing ones. I didn't pull every si ngle lens out b ut did come across one that had a crack in it. I couldn't find a name or date on any of the pieces. Including the box. It looks like the case was originally covered in leather and it has worn pretty much all away. There are some traces of leather on the bottom. It possibly had the name somewhere ... moreon the leather at one time. The original handle has been replaced by what looks like an old shoe string. The case has a closure lock that still works and you push a button to release it to open. When the case opens. A few of the lens fall out of there slots, not sure if there is supposed to be something to hold them back but will do so for shipping. I'm sure some of those lenses are out of their proper slots too. There are some pretty odd lens in there too, and we took pictures of these. Any questions let me know!
