This pretty teapot measures 6" 15.3 cm) in diameter at base. 9" 22.8 cm) from the end of the handle to the tip of the spout and 5 3/4" 14.7 cm) in height. It is made of a light colored earthenware. The shape is nice and there is a detailed embossed molding, in Gothic style, around the rim and the flared base. The other side has a smaller one with a large white flower. The red Dogwood blossoms are more of a rust red. Vintage O.E.G. Royal Austria serving bowl. Marked with a green stamp with wreath on the back along with the number 70. I believe it's pattern OSG45. The bowl is white with scalloped edges and gold trim with a raised beaded inner trim. It has a gold medallion in the center which has some gold loss on one part of the medallion. See pics. Also some gold loss on the outer trim. There are some utensil scratches on the inside. There is some crazing on the very bottom of the back of the dish, I think it's crazing and not hairlines, smooth and under the glaze. No chips. Measures 10 inches wide, a good size serving bowl. COPELAND AND GARRETT JUG PINK+GOLD+WHITE STUNNING c.1840 Search An attractive and unusual Copeland and Garrett jug. Made around 1840: the Copeland and Garrett partnership existed 1833- 47. Extravagantly decorated in pink. Gold and yellow on a white ground. The jug is heavy; I am not expert in this area but think this was perhaps a result of the fact that it is made of"felspar" porcelain which was heavier than usual porcelain. Ununusual shape. Fully marked on the base with a printed mark which reads COPELAND& GARRETT FELSPAR PORCELAIN. DIMENSIONS: 8.25" high. CONDITION: There is a crack running down one side of the jug: this extends for about 3" Fine crazing in places; this is really only visible upon close inspection. The gilt is rubbed in places.
