You are bidding on a Green White and Gold Trimmed 8” Urn with Matching 10” Bowl. This is a very nice and intricately decorated urn with a matching bowl. The urn stands 8” tall and approximately 5” wide with a red 7948 on the bottom. The bowl is 10” wide and is about 4 ½” tall with a red 7947 on the bottom. Both are finely decorated with a green floral pattern with gold trim. The lid on the urn shows some ware on the very top where some of the gold is wore off. There is some minor glazing cracks on each piece with more being on the inside of the bowl. In the bowl there is also a couple of minor“rust” colored stains that may come out. This auction features an antique Victorian pocket watch chain with an unusual mixed metal fob. The spring ring clasp is marked 1/20 12KT GF so I am presuming that all of the pieces are gold filled or rolled gold. The watch chain measures 19" long so it could easily be worn as a necklace. The other chain that holds the fob measures 3 3/4" long. The pierced or openwork fob measures 5/8" by 3/4" and is made of yellow. Rose and white gold filled metals. The barley twist T-bar has an engraved design. It is in excellent used condition. Swivel and spring ring clasp work well. Slide moves easily up and down the chain and will stay where you place it. Some bubbles, well defined pontil to bottom with some dark material(ash,carbon) embedded in pontil glass. Nicely hand painted with gold gilt and white enamel sprays of what appear to be lilies of the valley. Some wear to the gold gilt leaves& band. White enamel very strong. Blown hollow stopper has several bubbles. Swirl, tiny flattened areas probably left by tools during process and pontiled base. Some loss to gold gilt at top Glasses have a lot of bubbles. Bases show circular tool marks, stems are not perfectly round/straight, bases and bells slightly different. Gold gilt bands are different widths. For sale is a nifty little ruby and diamond bar pin I picked up at an estate sale years ago. Probably fairly modern based on the cut of the diamonds. A total of 21 princess cut diamonds are channel set almost the full length of the stem. The diamonds taper from approximately 2.3mm down to 1.3mm. Another 9 round brilliant diamonds are set around the base of the flower. Total diamond weight is approximately 1.00ctw It's difficult to estimate princess cuts. So I've deliberately been conservative with the weight estimation. It's probably more. All diamonds are of a very fine color and would score near colorless, G-H. Clarity is decent. All diamonds are about Si2 to I1. NONE of them have dark inclusions. These are remarkably well matched in that regard as well as cut. The tables, and thus the brilliance, of all the princess cuts is ... morefairly equal. This gives even brightness to the full length of the pin. A single triangular Rubellite Tourmaline is prong set in the center of the frosted rock crystal(colorless quartz) flower. 6.50mm x 6.25mm x 4.00mm. Weight is approximately 0.85ctw. A lovely Redish purple/Purplish red color, it scores a 5 tone and 4 saturation on the GIA color scale: not too dark and nice, vibrant color. It is white with a band of green. Black, pink with scrolls and flowers that circles the top of the dish and the outer edge of the lid. The handles of the dish and lid are golden, which appears not to be worn. Around the outer edge of the dish is a green ring which is worn- chipped. There is also a chip on the dish along the green band by the handle. There is some crazing and a couple hairlines.
