The repair is along the fretboard, NOT the neck/headstock, so that's a good thing. It's honestly not nearly as bad as it looks. Frets are in good shape. Guitar plays ... morevery well. Action is set to a comfortable medium low height. There is some light fret buzz here and there. But if you plan on playing this guitar with distortion/overdrive, you'll be just fine. Any little noises get covered up. It plays well up and down the neck with no major dead fret spots. Electronics have been tested and work great. No major issues with scratchy pots. Noises, etc. Good classic sounding rock/PAF style medium output humbuckers. Gold hard ware has a light patina/age to it and looks sweet. Again. Structurally, the guitar is solid as a rock, even with the repair to the neck. There are of course, little scratches and dings here and there on the guitar's body, but nothing ugly. Just the little stuff that adds character and charm. Overall. This guitar sounds amazing, plays great, and still looks beautiful. Many sellers don't even mention this stuff. But I like to. Rare white MOS MCS 6502 cpu chip with gold legs - Used in Apple I date code 5076
This is an ultra hard to find. 1976 MOS MCS 6502 microprocessor in the original white package. This is the same chip that was used by Jobs and Wozniak when they made the first Apple I personal computers. This particular chip has very little corrosion on the gold legs. The legs are all very straight and solid(And attached) It had been in a socket since 1976. And I was able to remove it very carefully without any difficulty or damage at all. This chip has the very stylish look with the gold ground leading off to the left with an angle on the far left end. Also. It has a circle hole on the left and an oval hole on the right. I really think this is a strikingly beautifully designed chip. It is really mesmerizing to look at. Now I have not really cleaned this chip up. So it will look even better if/ when you give it a careful cleaning. It had ... morea yellow tinted piece of tape over it, which I removed all except for over the label, as I feared it might lighten the part number on the gold chip label. Perhaps you know a way to carefully remove the tape without any lifting. The date code on this chip is 5076. Which I believe means it was made in the 50th week of 1976. Here is an amazing lot of 14 vintage gold and white plastic placemats that look like real lace. They are beautiful! And very fancy. They measure 12 x 18 inches. They have slightly scalloped edges with a center medallion. They even have the tiny"bridge" pieces in the design like real lace. These mats would make an interesting and unusual bridal shower or wedding gift. So easy to clean with just a soapy cloth. There may be an occasional very tiny spot here and there but very hard to notice. Most of the mats have an area on the back that is sticky. Where I think the original sales tag was placed. These could probably be removed with Goo-Gone or some such thing, but they do not affect the top of the mat that shows on the table. I have never seen anything like these- certainly a great find. It measures just over 5 1/2" tall, by approximately 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" wide. The shorter box is shaped like an eight sided octagon. It measures 3" tall, by 4 1/4" to 4 1/2" wide(depending on which way you measure it) They are marked on the bottoms. The taller box was made in 1987.
