The design is timeless and displays wonderfully.Very ornate pattern featuring a central motif of white white roses and an edge of wild pink roses& butterflies. Background is heavy gold. Overall condition is great with no chips or cracks to make note of and very little if any wear to the decoration. Lovely Vintage White Ceramic Pitcher with a Scalloped Rim and Ornate Handle. Green& Gold Trim. Looks like others I've seen made by one of the East Liverpool. Ohio potteries from 1920-1950's. It's 4" H to the spout, 3.25" diameter. Considering its age. It's in good condition. Has only one tiny flea bite(see last 2 pics) The gold trim is worn away in some areas and there is a stain/discoloration on the bottom of the inside. Lots of crazing as would be expected in a piece this old. Marked 118 on the bottom, no makers mark. Thanks for looking!

Good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration, a few tiny marks consistant with age but none to spoil this really nice vase. Offered for bids from my personal collection is this space age Eames era mid-century modern tall textured black. White and gold piece of pottery that I originally thought was a vase, then imagined it as a pillar-style candle holder and finally decided it was meant to be the base for a lamp. All three are distinct possibilities! The fourth possibility is that it is just a really cool looking piece of sculptural pottery which is why it has been on display in my home for the past 15 years. It is 15½" tall, 5" in diameter at the base with a 2½" diameter opening at the top. Most of the piece is in vertically textured white and gold lines, while the bottom portion is glossy black with incised vertical gold lines. This is a vintage linen table runner that I think is quite old. It measures 45 by 17" Has been hand embroidered and the edges have been hand crocheted. It's white and the embroidery colors are brown, green and gold. It has been freshly laundered and pressed and is in excellent condition with no spots or holes. This is really a nice piece.
