No holes or dents. Was not polished or cleaned. The content is 90% silver. Sterling silver is slightly higher at 92.5% silver.

I am unsure if the actual foo dogs were made in Italy or just the stands. These are carved figures that are made from some type of Bone Resin. I am unsure of the exact material that they are made from. The one foo dog is Signed on the back side while the bottom of the stands are Marked. These items are extremely Detailed. They weigh 3 pounds each with the stands. The one statue measures without the stand 6 and 1/2" tall by 2 and 1/2" wide by 3 and 1/8" deep.
