These are angel cherub wall hangings both marked Depose Italy and Spider Mark on them. One is marked 68 and one is marked 67 also. They are in good used condition. However, the backs on them have a tear on one and the other back on one is kinda pushed in at top(see pics) That does not hurt the front appearance of them at all. A very nice little souvenir spoon from Venice. Italy, purchased around the turn of the 20th century during someone's Grand Tour. 4.25" long. With a plain gold washed bowl. The ornate shaft is embellished with Venetian-design curves and flowers. At the top, a figural lion, the animal associated with St Mark, the patron saint of the city. There are marks on the back of the bowl(see photo) but I can't tell what they say.

I rescued this little boy from an uncertain fate at the hands of people who would have used him for a door stop. Or worse a dog toy. I have not been able to find him anywhere. I found his sister, a tennis player, and sadly shes in terrible shape, missing her tennis racket, and she has some soot damage on her from some distant fire. Her hair bow is damaged as well. The boy. I AM HAPPY TO REPORT, is in great spirits and he is patiently awaiting a collector who will treat him better than his sister was treated. He still has his baseball bat.the base is Carrara Marble and the words"DEPOSE ITALY 236" are followed by what looks like a spider. Give this boy a proper home.
