This swag is made up, essentially, of glass beads, mostly seed beads, and cylinder shaped beads) The Cylinder beads are thin, straw colored beads with ultra-small, almost undetectable verticle lines, that give them a strong sheen and almost pearlized reflection. I was excited to find the pieces in such good condition. And I have to say, in forty years of being around and in the antique business, I can't recall ever stumbling on any finer sections of this type beaded swag.
