Vintage Gold Fill Enamel Vase or Oil Jar Cufflinks in Persian Turquoise Blue
A beautiful vintage pair of 1/10 10K gold filled and enamel cuff links. Each pivot toggle link has a round textured gold plaque with a powder or Persian turquoise blue enameled applique in the form of a vase or oil jar for its viewing side. The backs are stamped: 1/10 10K G.F. and the shanks are stamped: 1/20 12K G.F. and PAT.2544893 with no additional markings that I can find. The toggles pivot 180 degrees allowing these striking links to lay perfectly on the cuff. The cufflinks measure approx. 1" in diameter(and so are large) and were probably made during the late 1950's. They are in good vintage condition with the above mentioned observations and these links are just striking!

This is a vintage. Very lovely left-facing hand-carved shell cameo locket, set in 12 karat gold fill. The cameo itself is prong-set onto a decorative square filigree gold surface. Which actually is the lid of the locket. Open the locket to see the signature on the inside, on the right, 1-20 12K GF. see last photo below) I believe the linked chain also is made with gold-fill and it measures 18" long. The locket itself measures 1" down by nearly ⅞" across and the cameo itself is carved from just one piece of shell. Featured is the profile of a beautiful young girl with an odd hair-do. Buckles were a popular Victorian symbol and represent strength and protection. This brooch is very well-made and designed. And is quite heavy for a hollow ware piece. The amazing yellow textured base resembles crinkled gold foil and contrasts beautifully with the smooth shiny surface of the rose gold-fill buckle! The mechanical findings include a 19th century tube hinge and a professionally replaced swivel safety clasp which appears to have been changed sometime in the 1930's judging by the hardware(safety catches were not available in the 19th century) A switch made at a much later date from c-clasp to safety-clasp usually indicates a cherished. Valued item perhaps passed down in one family. At the very least this brooch has had a long history of being loved and enjoyed, and is certainly ready to wear for many more years to come! MEASUREMENTS: About 1-1/8 X 3/4 inches. WEIGHT: 10.6 Grams. Beautiful& LARGE Gold-Filled locket. I added the chain and it is included in the auction. This locket is circa 1910 and there is a lock of hair behind atleast one of the photos. I did not remove the other to look for more hair. 2 photos. 1 of a pretty woman in a hat and the other of a handsome man. Monogrammed" EM" in pretty cursive. Locket is 1.5" in diameter and 1.75" high with bail. Chain is 16.5" Locket has a nice weight to it. There is some wear to the gold around the entire rim. Overall in great condition.
