Vintage 1930's- 40's Art Deco Filigree Cherry Red Glass Bead Necklace This auction is for a uniquely designed and colorful. Art Deco filigree glass necklace, that is from the 1930's- 40's. This piece is brass measuring 24" long. Is 5/8" wide at its widest point, and the beads are 1/2" in diameter. The necklace closes securely with a snap clasp that looks original to the piece. This piece has a unique combination of filigree links and red glass beads. The filigree links are actually two panels that face each other- on one link there is a missing panel but it is noticeable only upon close inspection. The filigree has a detailed floral and scroll pattern that is not completely flat so the links have a lot of texture and visual interest. There is a little bit of darkening to the links but it is a modest amount and ... morethe brass filigree has a nice patina. The glass beads are a bright cherry red with faceting on all sides- there are significant chips to some of the beads as well as pits and nicks to the edges and corners of the faceting. Having said that, the beads all still have a full shape with faceting that is refractive. The contrast between the filigree panels and the bright red glass is striking. Overall this is a uniquely designed and colorful, Art Deco filigree glass necklace, that is from the 1930's- 40's that is in good condition. Up for bid is an Antique Strand of Wedding Beads. There are a total of 19 Wedding Beads on the Strand with one broken bead. Beads are olive green. Solid, which isn't always the case, and applied glass(the icing) is in excellent condition on these beads. Necklace is in original condition. Rather than destroy the piece to remove the broken bead. And risk losing the accent beadwork, this piece can be restrung. By removing the broken bead, and two beads/accent beads for adding Earrings) this Necklace can be restored, with plenty of room to still have a very nice length strand. In between every 3 beads there is a floral accent and the pendant is accented with a leaf. The necklace is unsigned but is in excellent condition! This is a superb necklace of Venetian sommerso glass handmade beads probably from late 1930's- 50's. The beads are clear glass with deep purple and aventurine gold inclusions. The length is approx 460mm including the screw catch. The beads vary slightly. They measure approx 12mm in diameter, there are tiny bead caps and glass spacer beads. The condition of the beads is very good but the stringing is nylon and it might benefit from being redone although it seems firm.

A very nice old glass bead necklace with charming blue Venetian wedding cake glass beads set onto old gilt chain links. These are old beads being both disc and round shaped beads. There s a drop bead which does not quite match the rest being a slightly different blue colour but it is an old bead from the same era. The long beads measure just over 1/2 and inch in length with the disc beads measuring 3/8ths of an inch across. The necklace measures 18 inches in length and is finished with a gilt shepherd's crook clasp. This is in good condition with just some light wear to the gilt trailing on some of the beads. A really nice old necklace. I have some more lovely vintage costume jewellery on ebay this week so do take a look at my other listings as I always combine postage at minimum cost to the buyer. A lovely vintage art deco necklace. C.1930s in date. The necklace is in deep red faceted glass beads alternated with squared, rolled gold wire and finished with a matching wire hook clasp. This is a 60" long crochet rope of glass beaded flapper necklace ending in beaded tassels. Circa 1920s's. I haven't seen too many cobalt blue ones like this. A lot of gold ones out there but blue is hard to find. It is in very good condition with no broken beads that I can see. I notice that if you look with a magnifying glass you can see some of the thread/string that they crocheted the beads with showing between some of the beads. See photo. STUNNING VINTAGE DECO VENETIAN OPALESCENT FOIL SWIRL GLASS TABULAR BEADS NECKLACE This is a most incredible necklace I have ever had. It is simply stunning. Age wise I think it is Art Deco but it may be slightly later I am not sure. I believe the tabular beads are Venetian glass. They have gorgeous colours mingling in swirls. They are accentuated with fine drizzles on the outside and dusting on the inside of shimmering gold aventurine. The olive shape beads have opalescent foil eyes- each one on three sides. The foil shimmers with shades of blue. Pink, silver and gold. One of these beads has a small damage. A slice of glass containing the foil eye came away. The break is quite clean and the glass has been repaired. There is a slight sharpness of the edge in places where some tiny slivers of glass have not been reattached. I have some so perhaps ... morethe new owner might want to restore the bead further. The round disks are approx 3/4" in diameter. The large oblong beads are approx 1 3/8" x just over 3/4" at the most. The necklace is 20 1/4" long in total and appears to have been rethreaded recently. Apart from the mentioned all other beads are in a great vintage condition. Gorgeous piece- don't miss it. Here we have a rare find and that would be an older vintage CENCO 4 burner torch. Designed for long pieces it has as you can see two adjustable rests on either end which will hold the glass at the desired height as it is turned. Base is about 4 1/4 inch across, the bar that holds the torch heads and rest bars is about 10 3/4 inch long.Torches stand about 6 inch above the bar. Appears to be in EXCELLENT condition, no damage or problems that I can see. Has most all of it's original finish with the brass a bit tarnished.
