They still turn well but are lighter na dmore comfortable. These are size 27.0 for the liners, which are in very good condtion, and size 26/28.5 shells. Here is the garmont chart for sizing: I'm a size 9 wide in most shoes. These were comfortable on me. The shells are in good condtion with some light scratches. Typical for used tele gear. The scratches are less noticeable than on the Garas I have for sale. The soles are in excellent condtion except you can see for the pictures that I missed once lining up the three pins. This did not affect the holes for normal use and they holes have moderate wear but are still very useable. I use these with Voile 3-pin cable bindings.

This original map is stamped 25-9-18. It is 33x23" 85x60cm) is inscribed" Levee par les officiers du corps de L'Etat-Major et publie par le Depot de la Guerre 1835. Revise en 1902" For much of the First World War. Abbeville was headquarters of the Commonwealth lines of communication and No.3 BRCS, No.5 and No.2 Stationary Hospitals were stationed there variously from October 1914 to January 1920. The communal cemetery was used for burials from November 1914 to September 1916, the earliest being made among the French military graves. During the early part of the Second World War. Abbeville was a major operational aerodrome, but the town fell to the Germans at the end of May 1940. On 4 June, an attempt was made by the 51st Division, in conjunction with the French, to break the German bridgehead, but without success. Towards ... morethe end of 1943, eight large ski shaped buildings appeared near Abbeville. These proved to be storage units for flying bomb components an they were heavily bombed by Commonwealth air forces. Abbeville was retaken on 4 September 1944 by Canadian and Polish units.

UNBELIEVABLE French Dieppe Fine Carved Antique Brooch Woven Trellis Thorns Rose
For your consideration is this EXCEPTIONAL hand carved brooch dating to the 1850-1860. It is large and French in origin. Dieppe or similar. Graining is apparent on the back of the piece. It was clearly carved by a master. The detail and dimension of this piece is unbelievable. It features a wild rambling rose with delicate. Paper thin petals and splayed stamens. The rose is growing on a section of woven rose canes. No detail has been overlooked concerning those rose canes. They have thorns and where the ends are cut, you can clearly see the attention to detail the master carver spent in regards to exposing the different layers of bark, sapwood, and heartwood. Also featured in the composition are 2 rose buds, a few rose leaves, and a scattering of forget me nots.The pinback is made of sterling silver. I have never in my life come across a ... morepiece as exceptional as this outside of a museum. Condition: Its a bit dusty as you can see from the photos. 1 tiny 2mm petal of ONE of the forget me nots along the edge of the piece has broken off. This is visible in the 6th photo. Look at the top left hand side of the piece where the forget me nots are. The one closes to you is perfect. The one behind it, you can see that it is missing it's most outward facing petal. This carving is known as a micropicture. With details MUCH finer than just a miniature carving. Some of these details are thinner than a human hair. This piece was done by the master artist, JEAN ANTOINE BELLETESTE, 1730-1811, in the city of Dieppe, France probably in the 1780's. The city of Dieppe was the lV0RY carving center for all of France and they have one of these boxes by Belleteste in the Dieppe Museum. From what we can tell MAYBE a 1OO of these TYPE of carvings exist. Worldwide. Of those that exist how many were actually made by Jean Antonie Belleteste? He is the MASTER, perhaps the finest carver of the 18th Century OR really any century. Of the few these that exist surely, only a few were done by Belleteste, himself. This is NOT from the school of Belleteste or the Belleteste Family. Queen Marie Antoinette collected works by Jean& she had access to the BEST of the BEST. So you are in good company in viewing this. As far as this being authentic, this work is so fine, NOBODY in the world can carve at these levels and if they could, they need not make'fakes' of these because, they themselves, would be creating masterpieces of art. About 2 3/8" high. Hand painted. I think the handwritten word Dieppe is what is on the vase. It is faded but Dieppe is what I believe it is. Dieppe is a coastal town in France built along the cliffs overlooking the channel. The handpainted scene looks like this could be correct. Flowers adorn the other side. Souvenir from 1953.

Antique Victorian Dieppe Style Concertina Card Case- natural. Scarce integument with a beautiful ornate silver cartouche, including the original pen/clasp. This card case is over 150 years old approximately, and all original- in good antique condition with appropriate age related wear. Highly collectible with a gorgeous warmth to the natural noble material. Estate find- unmarked, This case measures 107 x 76 mm- approximately 4 1/4" x 3 1/8" inches There are no cracks. Chips, breaks or repairs in the noble material hard portion of the case. CONDITION General overall age related wear to the inner portfolio. Nib is missing on the end of the pen which also doubles as a means of securing the card case closure. This is common for these old card case styles. And is frequently missing entirely. THE PENNY MAGAZINE June 20. 1835 Dieppe. France wine in England Roman aqueduct in Portugal silver mining in Mexico& So. America This is a paper which is over 175 years old. It is printed in a small format. Measuring 7” by 11” in size, and is 8 pages long. The issue came from a bound volume and has typical minor disbinding marks at the spine, but is otherwise in excellent condition, with a slight bit of browning from age. The front page of the paper is devoted to a great wood engraving of ROMAN AQUEDUCT AND CASTELLUM AT EVORA. IN PORTUGAL. ¾ ths of the next page describes the architectural structure. Following this is an article on WINE. Which takes up a page and a half of text. This is a temperance piece encouraging the importation of more wine into England, arguing that wine-drinking nations have much less trouble with alcoholism; ... moreand that the British would benefit from policies to encourage importing more wine, as an alternative to the hard liquor which has caused so much drunkenness in their country. It says, in part: It is well known that drunkenness. Though once too common, is now rare in the highest classes of society; and this happy change is unquestionably due, in a great measure, to the adoption by them of pure unbrandied wines. Numerous districts in Europe are both able and of course very willing to supply us with palatable and wholesome wines of low price. These could be sold in England at a rate not beyond the means of the mechanic. a rate much below what is too often now bestowed on gin and other vile liquors. The center of the issue has an article on DIEPPE. France. It consists of a large engraving of“Dieppe Harbour. accompanied by a text of 23 column inches in length. It says. In part: at Dieppe.
