It still has some greenish-blue lead for marking the distances needed. Size: 3" high by 2" across. And face on each side measures 1 3/16" in diameter. It converts Inches to Miles. I am not even close to an expert or collector of vintage compasses like this so I will do my best to describe it's condition via text& photos. The"wheel" at the bottom does move in conjunction with the needle to measure the conversion of inches to miles.
