This White Liturgical Alb is sized for Male or Female. Male(chest) 42-45 Female(chest) 45-46. 5 foot 9 to 5 foot 10. Label says CM Almy CT. Sleeve is 23 inches long with a 3 and 1/2 inch set in cuff. The sleeve is 9 and 3/4 inches wide. The amice style collar is closed with a single snap inside and a double snap closure on the left shoulder. A tie inside the alb insures proper draping on the body. The length from the collar seam in the back to the bottom of the hem is 58 inches. 2 EARLY VINTAGE FRENCH VESTMENT METALLIC APPLIQUES~AGNUS DEI LAMB OF GOD + IHS
Offered here are two early vintage vestment appliqués. Each measuring about 9" by 9" They are of French origin, as the backings are newspaper imprinted in the French language. The first is Agnus Dei Lamb of God. The body is tufted coiled metallic over embossed tin. The legs have broken, but the head is quite detailed. A red velvet flag extends from the sheep. There are sequined extensions in somewhat of a starburst. The other, IHS, is also of metallic thread. This also has the sequined extensions, and is backed with similar newspaper. Antique Church Banner "The Presentation" Vestment, Icon (023)
This is a beautiful antique banner. Which depicts the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple. It is trimmed with a colorful burgundy and gold galloon and completed with fringe at the bottom scallops. This banner measures 40 inches in length, and 26 and 1/2 inches in width. The picture of the Presentation is 12 inches by 14 and 5/8 inches. The banner is made from a burgundy cotton damask material, which is fully lined. The picture is painted on a silk material and bordered by the same type of galloon trim as the banner itself. The banner pole is 34 and 1/8 inches long, trimmed in a gold color with decorative finials. There are a several small moth holes, which do not seem to detract from the overall appearance of this beautiful one of a kind piece of art.

White Priest Chasuble/ Stole/Chalice Veil/Burse Vestment (015)
This Vintage White Chasuble and Stole have some wear showing but are still in usable shape. The Battenburg Rose design in the white material looks very nice with a single band of burgundy velvet which is outlined with gold trim down the front(a very small spot near the band looks as though the burgundy bled some color) There is a slight reddish stain near the bottom left of the chasuble as well. Neither of these are very noticeable. There is a burgundy velvet Y band outlined with gold trim on the back of the chasuble. The applique on the back Y band has a 10 inch heighth and 8 inch width. And gold threads embroidered the I H S on burgundy velvet in the center of the applique, the gold crown on the applique is studded with mullti colored beads and hand embroidered background. The chasuble is 45 inches long in the back and 41 inches in the ... morefront and fully lined in gold satin material(there is some minor discoloration on the lining, not sure what it's from) A 12 inch neck opening is outlined with a double burgundy velvet and gold trim. The chasuble is 57 inches wide. The matching fully lined stole is 98 inches long plus a three inch white fringe at each end. There are four velvet bands on each side of the stole outlined with gold trim, the lower bands are 3 and 3/4 inch wide the one at the top of each side is 3 and 1/2 inches. The Chalice Veil is 23 and 1/2 inches by 24 inches, it has a few water/wine? stains which are not particularly noticeable. The veil is fully lined in the same gold material as the stole and chasuble and outlined with gold and white cording with detailed knots at the corners. The veil has a 4 inch padded gold cross applique with a red glass/plastic bead in the center. The Burse is a 9 inch square with the same 4 inch gold padded cross applique and the red bead, and the gold and white cording around the edges. These items were hand crafted with great care. The age of these items is unknown but the parish was over 100 years old when it closed in 2011, most probably from the late1960's or

This is a vintage cassock. In fine black wool- probably dating from around 1950s. In black- the cassock fastens down the front with black buttons. There are two side pockets with two side slits to allow access inside the cassock. There is a pleated vent at the back and two side pleats. The cassock has a cropped collar to allow wear with a white(dog) collar. In good condition- there is no obvious damage on this item. Some slight wear around the edges on the collar but nothing too serious. The sleeves and the hem have been taken up to make shorter and could be let down again. There is no makers label. Size- size 42. Chest size 42 inches. From armpit to armpit is approx 22 1/2 inches. Length from nape of neck to hem is 51 inches- a large hem has been turned up so could let down 3 inches. Shoulder to shoulder across the back is 18 inches. Sleeve ... morelength from shoulder seam to cuff is 20 inches- the sleeve has been shortened and could be let down again. Ideal for church use. With no damage but it will benefit from a clean as it is a little grubby in places. It has a zip opening at the neck. The manufacturer was F.D. Monna of Toulouse. Who were renowned for their religious statues. The firm was opened by Francois Dominique Monna(1849-1907) in 1873, principally for the manufacture of statues but the company went on to manufacture many religious items, including vestments. The chasuble dates to the second quarter of the 20th century. Some of the embroidery on the ear of wheat and the stitching around the neck of the chasuble has been done by hand. It measures 42" long. This particular vestment has a lot of hand embroidery(no machine used) with czech crystal beads and Swarovski crystals. We also use very small pearls and 30 different thread colors.
