30's 40's Wild Mink Full Body Pelt Wrap Scarf Stole~ 4 Genuine Pelts Dark Brown
The hat is not included in this auction. Love it? It is up for auction on its own! Wild Biting Minks Never knowing exactly what to call these wraps. I always refer to them as"the bite-y little mink wrap" This one is 4 pelts in a beautiful rich dark brown- the older vintage dark ones are often wild mink. They all have their nose. Ears, tail, feet complete with claws and pads, and glass eyes. Two are sewn together length wise. The pelts are in great condition. One poor guy has lost some fur on his feet. Exposing the toes. The fur remaining on the feet is not coming up or does not appear to have dry rot. In the photos I realized the glass eyes needed cleaning. I cleaned them and they are shiny and clear with a floating black glass dollop for the pupil. Each pelt is about 16" Not including tail. Vintage 1950s era dark chocolate brown mink stole Wrap yourself in a warm soft fur stole/shrug. It has the rich chocolate hues but none of the calories. In addition to the prestige and high end quality that Neiman Marcus enjoys, this fur is in impeccable condition; soft, supple, with no signs of shedding and no odors. The only sign of wear is a minuscule spot in the silk lining(see picture) and slight discoloration of the silk above the label. It is embroidered with the initials"DLS" and was purchased from Kayser-Lilienthal. Inc. in Columbus, Georgia. I've already sold the beautiful Cissy in her FAO Schwarz Tea Time set. Gown and Jewelry. This is the final piece from that estate auction. It's the BOXED ACCESSORIES for CISSY and is from 1957. The best part is that the box and all the items inside are being offered with No Reserve. Please see the photos of the wonderful grouping of accessories for Cissy. They are from 1957 and comes with the original box and all the items you see. The only missing piece is the fur stole. There is an extra bracelet(pearl) included. I will fully show all the pieces and describe the items. First of all is the original box. It's the type with the lid and box bottom. The cellophane is complete with no ... moreholes or tears. There are some slight indentions/ scratches but nothing too bad. There are NO split corners on either the box top or bottom. There is some wear on all the corners but no tears. The original tape is still on the side panels or the remnants there of. The original CISSY label is still on one side panel. It has her name and 22-91 stamped. The original FAO Schwarz inventory sticker is still in place on the corner. It has 25-45/ G/ G B/0/ 4-1- and 10 x 2 x 13. The box bottom is in nice shape with light wear. Inside the box. You will find the yellow/ gold colored panel that each of the pieces were attached to. Some of the original strings are there, but all of the items are loose inside. Handkerchief: It's very nice. sheer organdy square with lace trim. There are no holes or stains. Stockings: Nice nude. Thigh high stockings. They do have good elastic at the thigh and nice seams down the back. There are a couple of light snags and one of the stockings has a hole at the toe.
