Brown, green thread work along with floral design on maroon base fabric. Specialties: PHULKARI:The art of Phulkari is a hand embroidery style traditionally practiced by rural womenfolk in East Punjab(India) and West Punjab now in Pakistan. Phulkari literally means‘Flower Making’ and was at one time used for word embroidery. Phulkari is invariably embroidered on home spun locally woven and dyed khaddar because of its ready availability at low cost. At times finer variety of khaddar called Halwan was also used but it required much more labor. Khaddar is used as base fabric is that phulkari involves counting of threads and it was east to count on khaddar. Soft. Vintage 1940's Full Body 4 Mink Stole Wrap
Up for auction is a vintage 1940's 4-Full body mink wrap/stole. It measures 58" long. All eyes are attached. The tail appears to have a single thread holding it together. I do not know how or why it is this way. It is still together however may need to have another threat put on it. It may have been this way since it was purchased. I tried to take pictures of the tail. But it is hard to show it well. The last picture shows the owner wearing it on Easter Sunday 1949. It comes from a smoke free house.

Vintage Genuine Fox Stole - Gorgeous!
This is a gorgeous vintage genuine Fox Stole. It's in excellent vintage condition with no obvious flaws. This is a full pelt with a head. All four legs, and tail. It has a gorgeous color with a mix of light and dark browns, and reds. There is a hook on the bottom of the chin that attaches to one of the feet on the other side for closure. This is a unique piece as it has a really dark belly and feet. It measures approximately 36" long from nose to the end of the tail.
