Fresh to you from a Vermont estate. This beautiful"Autumn Haze" mink stole. In just about near perfect condition having no holes, tears, stains, repairs, bad odors, stiffness, shedding fur. The color is uniform, and the stole is not heavy. The fur is lustrous and I'm pretty sure it's female. This will come with a fashion photo of the original owner wearing the stole. Measurements: the drop from the shoulder is about 23" the length down the center back is 17 1/2" without including the 3 1/2" collar. The width across the bottom is about 54" The only fault I can find with this is that there are a few spots where the fur seems to be a bit flat, or go in another direction- see photos. Monogram can be easily removed if so desired. We accept payment through Pay Pal and ask that payment be received no later than ... morethree days from auction or sale end. thank you for coming to view/buy this item. It is a GENUINE FUR item from about 1975-1980 so it is recent vintage. A wedding present for a couple that got married in the 1970s. The maker is MANO SWARTZ of Towson. MD. and it is in really good condition with only one detraction, about that in a moment. The item itself may be what's called a SHRUG Cape or STOLE or WRAP. But it is not a full coat(I have one of those of the same fur that I shall list separately, later) It is well lined with a satiny material and labelled with that manufacturer. The fur is really beautiful and of great quality and condition and soft without too much plush which leads me to what kind of fur. I am not sure but I have researched and I think it ... moreis GOLDEN MINK. I have ruled out fox and rabbit and chinchilla and such. So I am down to Mink. Ermine or Marten. The item was given to me to sell by a relative of the last owner and though neither of us is an appreciator of real fur. We wanted this to stay in circulation with someone who would treat it well/apply TLC- we'd rather hope someone buys this over a new fur. Here is the only detraction. a place where the fur pelt has come detached from the inner backing it's at the shoulder and creates an opening about 6 inches long. But could easily be reapplied. now about Mano Swartz. I found this; Baltimore furrier firm Mano Swartz has been in business since 1889 selling only the highest quality furs.this fur sold for $10.000 to $11,000 when new. and about the coat's history I found this. that name embroidered inside. Here is a darling 5.75" flapper half doll wisk broom. Marked Germany. She is wearing a green frock and hat, and has a green fabric sash bow. This little half doll has great color and expression and a truly wonderful little green hat! It is in near mint condition.
