1920s Mink Stole Stunning 4 Pelt Mink Fur with Vintage Art Deco Clip and Chain
After collecting vintage clothing for over 30 years. It always amazes me when I run into a great piece for my wardrobe. This wonderful mink stole has four pelts for a warming accent piece around the collar. Meant to be worn over clothing. It can also be worn inside a coat for added warmth. This wrap has no backing, a wonderful twisted chain with clip indicative of the 1920's or 1930's era, and four minks intact for the pelts. I never used this stole. So it arrives on your doorstep in the exact same condition that I received it from the previous owner.The pelt is fluffy, clean and ready to wear immediately. The oils are intact as are the pelts hairs. The pelts are split in the middle of the stole. Two per side. The pelts are secure and are not shedding. The length is 54" long. And the width is 3" There is no furrier label, ... moretypical of this time period. Condition: Good with wear. All feet are intact. But some feet show fur loss, typical of this age of pelt. One foot appears to be imperfect, and the crochet on the chain clip and also on the reverse interior sweater clip are worn and will need to be strengthened if worn repeatedly due to wear or thread loss. MAD MEN! Cherry and Webb of Lawrence, MA Mahogany Mink Cape Stole 1940's
Mahogany Mink Fur Stoles were very popular in the 1940's through the 1950's. These pelts are senior citizens; they are 70 plus years old! Some owners maintained their stoles. Indulging them in regular cleansing and conditioning(and storing them at a furrier during the summer months in controlled temps and humidity) Other pelts were not so lucky! All fur pelts in my listings have been cleansed and conditioned by Northern New England's finest Furrier. Stoles have an unknown storage history. But the condition of the pelt(like your skin) is a good indicator of how well it has been cared for. Disclosures: The pelt is a little stiff even after a good cleanse and conditioning. No repairs have been made to capelet. The lining is intact but a little discolored. Which is most likely a sign that it got wet in the past. Vintage Black Fox Fur Pelt Shawl Wrap Stole
Lovely black fox fur wrap/shawl/stole from I'm guessing the 1940s or 1950s. It's basically a stylized single fox pelt with head. One front leg, two back legs, and a along fluffy tail. The fur shawl is lined in black satin. With a metal hook& eye closure. The mouth of the fox also acts as a clip, so you can use it to close the shawl around you. Vintage 1940s 3 Reddish Brown Mink Fur Full Body Pelts Wrap Scarf Stole
This listing is for three vintage Mink Fur full body pelts. Which are sewn together into a wrap scarf stole, which I am selling is AS IS condition, without any returns. The mouth on the front pelt has a metal piece that has brown crochet over it, opens and closes so that it can attach to one of the other pelts. This holds the stole onto a person's body. There is a missing eye on the middle pelt and some fur missing on one of the tails. The other two tails are intact. There appears to have some thin fur on the head of the Mink(see my pictures) The opposite end to the crochet snap is missing, although this is not a necessary piece and this could be easily removed. Lovely Vintage Black Real Fur Stole Wrap Cape Pomeroy's Reading, PA
This is a lovely vintage fur cape or stole from the 1950's or early 60's. Label reads. Pomeroy's, Reading" Pomeroy's was a department store on Penn Street in Reading, PA. It is a lovely, plush sheared, black fur, rabbit, I believe. The stole has longer sides in the front. The collar is a wide collar that is folded over all the way down the front, ending in small pockets on the front edges. Closes with a single set of covered hooks& loops. Inside is lined with black fabric. Right inside front is monogramed"CER" It is in lovely, vintage condition. Nothing worn, torn or damaged on the fur. No bare spots, no odors or fading. Fur is soft, supple, not dry at all. The lining is open along the front edge, around the loop closure. Not torn, just open& needs to be restitched. It shows some small areas of fading ... morealong the edge of the hemline& along the edge of the pockets, from normal use. Pretty! Shoulders measure 17" across& it measures 22.5" from shoulder to hem in front& 20.5" from collar seam to hem in the back. The sweep at the hemline measures 32" from side to side. VINTAGE CAPE STOLE: Light brown real mink fur FLA label K066494
This mink stole is fully lined and in excellent condition. There are a few minor snags on the lining. But the fur is extremely well kept by its owner and, though it is vintage, it still emanates its original elegance and soft texture. The capes on the stole hang down 32” 81cm) and each hanging cape measures 9 1/2“ 24 cm) in width and contains one outside pocket. From elbow to elbow the stole measures 30“ 76 cm) and the back seam on the stole measures 22” 56 cm) We are uncertain about the actual year that the stole was made, however, because of the Capwell's department store label, it had to have been made prior to 1969. The model for the stole is 5' 4" with a small physique.

It is made of cream silk and is profusely decorated with goldwork and silk embroidery. Many of the motifs are thickly padded and covered with gold wire of different textures. And embroidery silk in lovely subtle shading. The stole is edged with metallic gold trim and has a metallic bullion fringe. Sadly it would appear that this lovely item has not been stored well. Because there are areas where it has probably been folded, and then the silk and embroidery has rubbed. This is not really apparent when you first see it, and this stole could certainly be used ... moreagain without a problem. It is lined on the back with cerise pink silk. This is also slightly worn at the edges but is not fraying. The stole measures 8 inches(20 cm) at its widest. White Priest Chasuble/ Stole/Chalice Veil/Burse Vestment (015)
This Vintage White Chasuble and Stole have some wear showing but are still in usable shape. The Battenburg Rose design in the white material looks very nice with a single band of burgundy velvet which is outlined with gold trim down the front(a very small spot near the band looks as though the burgundy bled some color) There is a slight reddish stain near the bottom left of the chasuble as well. Neither of these are very noticeable. There is a burgundy velvet Y band outlined with gold trim on the back of the chasuble. The applique on the back Y band has a 10 inch heighth and 8 inch width. And gold threads embroidered the I H S on burgundy velvet in the center of the applique, the gold crown on the applique is studded with mullti colored beads and hand embroidered background. The chasuble is 45 inches long in the back and 41 inches in the ... morefront and fully lined in gold satin material(there is some minor discoloration on the lining, not sure what it's from) A 12 inch neck opening is outlined with a double burgundy velvet and gold trim. The chasuble is 57 inches wide. The matching fully lined stole is 98 inches long plus a three inch white fringe at each end. There are four velvet bands on each side of the stole outlined with gold trim, the lower bands are 3 and 3/4 inch wide the one at the top of each side is 3 and 1/2 inches. The Chalice Veil is 23 and 1/2 inches by 24 inches, it has a few water/wine? stains which are not particularly noticeable. The veil is fully lined in the same gold material as the stole and chasuble and outlined with gold and white cording with detailed knots at the corners. The veil has a 4 inch padded gold cross applique with a red glass/plastic bead in the center. The Burse is a 9 inch square with the same 4 inch gold padded cross applique and the red bead, and the gold and white cording around the edges. These items were hand crafted with great care. The age of these items is unknown but the parish was over 100 years old when it closed in 2011, most probably from the late1960's or

Vintage 50's Simplicity Designer's pattern of a tight wiggle'stole' dress. Can be strapless as well. Marked size 13( smaller by todays sizes) but lists measurements from sizes 11-18 and bust size 29"36" The cover has some ratty edges. But inside pattern looks fine and perfectly folded. I recently got a box full of these vintage patters and I will be listing them over the next few weeks so check my other listings. Also I can not Check each pattern for everything. So buyer beware of that. If I suspect any missing pieces, I will say so. Most items are in vintage/used condition. Meaning it shows its age. That is to be expected with vintage/used items. The tail end of the stole can be slipped into the open mouth, which then closes to hold the stole in place around your doll's shoulders.
