The beads are not too small for older fingers. Just the perfect size. The Ave beads measure 6mm and the pater beads measure 8mm and have Lacey sterling bead caps. Both are made from beautiful authentic mother of pearl. 18 1/2 inches long. Chain and all metal parts are sterling silver. I have been told that the shell that this mother of pearl rosary was made from is no longer harvested because it is an endangered species. This rosary. The sterling Crucifix features a nicely detailed Jesus and the medal is 2 sided and very detailed as well. The Crucifix and medal are both marked"Creed Sterling" Dark sterling beads with extra chain length for"Our Father" beads. Approx 26" circumference from medal to medal and 5" from bottom of medal to bottom of Crucifix. 3 of the beads have a minor dent. There is a repair made to replace one link in the chain. This bracelet measures approximately 7.5" It is marked Sterling and Creed. It has patina which to me makes it all the better. It has 10 charms which I believe to be saints on one side and on the other side it has rose buds. The charms are about 3/4" inch. There is also a larger charm with Mary on it. It reads Mary Conceived with out sin Pray for us who have recourse to thee. It also has 1830 on it I see if my eyes are not failing me. Jesus is at the top of the charm. This charm is about an inch. Really gorgeous old Sterling Silver Rosary with glass beads~ Very heavy piece weighing in at over 42 grams. Its over 21" in length doubled so 42" strand& all beads seem to be in great original condition other than being dirty. All in all an incredible vintage glass rosary.
