Up for auction is a antique sterling silver Catholic rosary case. With the design by M. Jampolksy. The top of the case depicts Mother Mary and baby Jesus with the inscription of“Mater Dei Ora Pro Nobis” This is a beautiful piece and is hallmarked. The hallmark is very very small and hard to make out but I will do my best(had to use a jeweler loop and it was still hard to fully make out) The hall mark is a square, the top says Metal and the second word below it starts with what I belive is a G. Then below that are three symbols, the first looks like a stick figure deer followed by an upside down bell and then the letter“C” with an apostrophe. So it doesn’t say its sterling silver. I can't read the artist's name. But is evident it is signed. The detail and hand grave etching in this piece is very impressive A blue crystal rosary that measures 21” long. It is marked Italy and measures 11 ½” long, the back of pendant has a monk with a halo hugging a baby Unique red cut glass rosary. It measures 23 ¾ long and is marked Italy, cross to pendant is 8 ¾ and above pendant is 15” inches long. It has the“M’ with the cross above it as well. It is lined with the references. A cut glass rosary the bottom is disconnected from the necklace but an easy fix. It measures 22 ½” long. Cross to pendant is 7” and above pendant is 16” inches. Then, I went to an antique liquidation barn sale– Brrrrr was it cold, but so worth it. Then, I stopped by an auction just in time to get most of my favorites– boy, I’ve been busy! I’m so excited to show you what I have! Lots of antiques; primitive to retro to deco to Victorian pretties, advertising, Americana folk art and just cool stuff. I’ll take me a white to list, so be sure to keep checking! I have a looooot of wonderful vintage and antique religious items this week. Be sure to check out my other listings, and keep checking, too! This listing is for 4, very old small religious charms. I think they look like old rosary charms(as in once part of a rosary) but I truly am ... morenot sure- see my photos and what you think. The first one has the image of the Madonna. The metal is just about black and the blue finish of the background really pops(it almost looks like enamel, but I do not know for sure) With my magnifying glass I could read what it says around her, and it's, Oh Mary, Conceived Without Recourse Sin Pray for Us Who?can't read) to thee. On the backside is an M with a cross and two bleeding hearts with stars around. It is marked sterling on the back, too. This is a small charm, measuring just 3/8" wide by 1/2" tall. There's one chain loop inside of the hole at the top. It's in excellent overall condition, with minor wear to the metal, and the very dark patina mentioned above. The next one is really cool. It is 1/2" diameter and is a round metal frame. This one is very very old. It reminds me of a relic- with the inside under glass, except I think that the medal in the center is behind two celluloid panes- it's hard to tell for sure, but they are not cold, and it does not thunk like glass. You can see the gold color of the medal inside. It has Jesus on one side and reads, Sacred Heart of Jesus, with some other w

A beautiful Creed vintage AB crystal and sterling silver rosary that is 22.5" long with a 6" drop. A 33" circumference, and weighs 54.431 grams. The 2" long by 1-1/8" wide cross is stamped Sterling Creed on the back. The central medallion, a bas relief of Mary, is 1" long. Joseph is on the obverse and it is also stamped Creed Sterling. The aurora borealis beads are full of beautiful colors! The round mater beads are 7mm and the oblong pater beads cased in silver filigree are 7mm x 10mm(approx. 3/8" This unusually beautiful rosary is entirely made of sterling silver and crystal.
