I CANNOT SEE TINY DETAILS VERY WELL with my poor eyesight. so please study ALL of the huge crisp detailed photos i posted. about 10 years ago. I don't remember the name of it, but an old church was torn down in illinois, and just before the trash was to be removed from the property, a scavenger was allowed to pick through the debris, found and brought these to me. it was assumed that they belonged to the nuns as they were found on the side of the housing of the nuns. i have kept them all this time and it is now time to pass them and all their prayers on to the next caregiver. i had a neighbor help me see and describe them. As the stanhope are impossible for me to see. they are the stations of the Cross, Jesus falling with Cross. Passion of Christ. there are TWO stanhopes missing from this beautiful antique Rosary. i(we) see no other markings ... moreand the crystal beads are not cracked. this is a very rare Rosary. I can't explain how warm and Blessed this Rosary feels. it is very special. the second Rosary is wooden. there is writing on the back of the cross. And i do not know if the trim is silver or not. it is light weight and the Cross is very beautiful. the third Rosary is marked 1/20 12K gold at back of cross. And beads are glass and peeling. this rosary is also beautiful. the fourth Rosary is silver and crystal and marked. the beads are not cracked and the details are quite humbling. the last item is either a bracelet or chaplet and was not from that church. But is included. this auction is being sold as is. As found. no refunds and no returns. feel free to ask me anything. I reply fast and honestly. A lot of the items are 19th century period items and in very very good condition. Having been stored or put away for many years. Her contemporary, testifies as explicitly that"the whole inhabited earth is full of relics of the wood of the Cross" In 1889 two French archæologists. Letaille and Audollent, discovered in the district of Sétif an inscription of the year 359 in which, among other relics. 1904 Koenig Brothers Antique Wood Crucifix Scrolling 14 Stations of the Cross Ca
I found this amazing treasure at an estate sale! It measures a little over 25.5" tall. 10.5" wide, 3.5" deep. These were created by the Koenic Brothers of New Jersey. Jacob Koenig came to the US in the late 1800's and started the business. He was given a patent. USD39822S to design a Niche or a Shrine in 1909. However the last station on this piece reads that it was copyrighted in 1904. It is in great condition. Nothing is missing and the scrolls works nicely! The glass does have some paint loss which I show in the pictures, but note the remaining paint seems very secure. The metal crucifix is in very nice condition as is the chalkware statue below it. I do not think this had a water font bowl, since I do not see any indication on the cross of nail holes that would have held it. This even still has it's hanger on the ... moreback. The wood patina is rich and beautiful, possibly professionally redone? Please note the scroll paper does have crease lines on some of the stations. But it turns smoothly. Most of the stations have great color, some are a little faded. I will ship the glass off the item. Overall good condition all beads are complete. The one with the stations of the cross needs the last medal attached again. Come off when I was taking photos ad I can't see well enough to rehook it. One of the pearl ones some of the outer white has worn off. Some other minor wear but good I really like the one with the stations of the cross. That one is so unusual. Nice lot of vintage rosaries made of different materials. Just think of all the wonderful prayers prayed on this beads!

UNuSuaL ANTiQuE 1904 "14 STaTioNS of the CRoSS" CaTHoLiC SCRoLL BoX!
Extremely rare vintage/antique find from 1904! Catholic Scroll Box features all 14 Stations of the Cross. Turn the knob on the right side and it scrolls through beautifully detailed colored pictures. It is dated 1904 at the very end of the scroll at the bottom of the 14th Station where it also identifies the manufacturer"Koenig Brothers" The scroll works nicely. The cross and box are oak and the statues/figurines appear to be plaster. At one time this apparently was hung on a wall or was on a table and fell and the figure on the left side is broken(see photos) and the figure on the right has a crack on his neck. The banner at the top had been chipped and someone has tried to re-do it. Amazingly the glass box was not broken! LARGE piece measures approximately 32" tall x 10 1/2" wide x 4" deep. The person kept a few ... moreof the chips in case someone wanted to try and do some repair work on the plaster which I will include. The Koenig Brothers came to the United States in the late 1800's and started their business. They were given a patent to design a shrine in 1909. However the last station on this pieces reads that it was copyrighted in 1904. This is an amazing and rare piece. Even with the broken figure. Antique VIA DOLOROSA Mother Of Pearl Stations Cross CRUCIFIX Jerusalem Inlay
An old Crucifix. In my opinion very old. Inlaid with medallions of Mother of Pearl. Each medallion has markings representing the 14 stations of the cross. The back is marked Jerusalem and Palestine. Cross measures 7.25" by 3.5" Please see photos. This is from an estate so I don't know a whole lot about it other than it is lovely. Thanks!

This is a beautiful set of antique French hand-worked stations of the cross with vignettes that dates in the early 1900s. Made from a thick card that has been hand worked into tiny frames with crucifix tops and embellishments. At the center of each frame is a vignette of one of the stations of the Cross. I have left it just as I found it. It is so fragile and sweet and would make a divine project for a religious interiors piece. Measurements are 3cm by 2.4cm There are 13 pieces in this batch It must have taken hours to make these little frames each one is so intricate and beautiful. Over the many years ... morethe fragile and frail pieces have become time-worn some are missing their Cross but that is to be expected.
