Ornate designs decorate the surface with 8 auspicious symbols surrounding the bodhisattva Buddha shadowbox display. These shrines were known to be carried by"GAU" carriers. These men were responsible for carrying the shrines through long distances often using mountain trails for ritualistic ceremonies. It measures 13 inches tall by 10 inches wide.
