This is a Victorian style Silver Metal Vase with an Amazing Look. I am unsure of the exact metal composition that this item is made of. It may be silver on copper however I am unsure. It is a large vase that unscrews from the bottom base. The entire item measures 13 and 5/8" tall by 5" across at the bottom with a mouth opening of 4 and 5/8" across. I am pleased to offer for your consideration this beautiful Sterling Silver Wine Goblet. Which I believe dates back to the early 20th century. Or possibly late 19th-century, and I believe it is of either Austrian or Bavarian origin. Truly Classical Roman Design of Grapes Hanging on the Vine, all Masterfully Crafted in Timeless Sterling. This goblet stands 4" in height. And is 2 7/8" in diameter at the lip, and 2 3/4" at the base. The base is plaster-weighted. The overall weight is 112 grams. But this includes the plaster. Rare find at estate sale- antique JB Jennings Brothers lidded jar/chalice made of spelter. Which is a pewter like alloy of lead and zinc. I believe this is actually a pickle castor according to some research I have done but can not be definite. I originally got it because it looked like a chalice and kind of gothic. The metal lid and outside casing is adorned with raised repouse design of fruits. Nuts and leaves. The fruit scrolling gives it a very Art Nouveau. Victorian feel. Made in the early 1900's and measures approximately 8.25 inches tall. The lid at the base measures 4.25 inches in diameter and the base is 3.25 inches across. I am pleased to offer this beautiful pair of Silver Goblets by the Atkins Brothers. The Atkins Brothers firm can be traced back to Thomas Law in the mid 18th Century. It was then succeeded by Henry Atkin& John Oxley as Atkin. Oxley& Co, and in 1840 Atkin continued as Atkin& Co. After he died, his brothers Harry Wright Atkin, Edward Thomas Atkin, and Frank Shaw Atkin continued the business as Atkin Brothers. The bottom of each goblet is Hallmarked: HA. EA, FA, 4871, 2• and the Atkin Brother Hallmark. As you can see in the close up pictures of the bottoms. One Goblet also has another stamp(E)PNS. Here is a really beautiful antique! Here is a clear Glass Blue Cup. It measures about 5" tall. This was bought from a storage unit from I assume an antiques dealer. I really don't know much about this. It is in great shape but has some small damage. It has 1 main chip on the bottom and about 3 very tiny ones on the bottom. These are not really noticeable without really examining them. Otherwise No cracks in the glass.The pictures should tell the rest of the story. All in all great display piece! It is a delight to be able to offer this 10 inch in height chalice type vase. Weighng almost 2 pounds. It has been hand cut on a mouth blown blank. Hand polished and hand finished. The blank is by far one of the clearest we have ever had the pleasure of acquiring. Its water white color is so clear that viewing one side through the other enables a completely clear and undistorted view. Only glass of the finest quality will allow this. The vase has been crafted in a design that appears to be Libby's Zenda that. Of course, has been adapted to suit the shape. However.Without a signature nor a photograph illustrating the pattern in that shape, it is remains a question. Another possibility ... moreis that another cutter house chose"Zenda" as a model for a pattern that they chose to cut. The chalice features a thumbnail cut edging that is turned inward: Resulting in a rounding effect. Hobstars alternate with a flashed faceted stars beneath. The pattern is trifoliate and so the major motifs ae repeated: There are three of each. Rosettes. Strawberry diamond in diamonds and notched prism flairs are below the hobstars and flashed stars. The lead to the long pedestal that is paneled and beaded. The pedestal and base are approximately six inches in length and the fully cut designed chalice portion is four inches in length. Measurements have been rounded. The base is cut in a fully produced starflower on the underside. The quality is extra fine with every property associated with American Brilliant Period cut glass(1870-1916) considered. There is resonance and the fine cutting has produced a vase in which refraction and reflection have been enabled and so there is brilliance and radiance. There is also a hog at the base running and a cane or walking stick laying on the ground apparently dropped by the man.Appears to be a dove flying above the woman along with another figure in the background. The side is repousse with all 12 Apostles/Disciples each different and holding symbols specific for individual identification. Clean up really well.there is a few blemishes, you can see them in the pictures, there's a small chip on the rim on one and the bottom has a slight dent, looks as if its been dropped. The cups are 5 inches tall and they have a 2 1/2 inch rim. sad to see them go, but they are just collecting dust here.

This auction is for an 1870s gothic revival compote form ecclesiastical vessel. Presumably for holding communion bread. It measures 5 ¾” tall x 7 ½” top diameter) x 5 ¼” foot and has a medieval chalice-form profile overall. The interior of the bowl features hand engraved quatrefoils about the center with the sides engraved in wheat and grape motifs. It has some obvious wear on the inside of the bowl. Undulating deep cuts on foot from center outward. Gradually bulbous. Graceful stem contains bubble pointed at both ends mimicking and accentuating the octagonally cut stem. Bowl is green cut to clear in an eight petaled/scalloped top. MOST unusual. However is not only the scalloped edges but the squared off shape at the V between each petal. The cut area of each of the eight sides contains a meticulously etched floral arrangement in alternating depictions. Chalice stands 8¾" tall. Base is 3½" in diameter. Bowl is 4½" in diameter. I believe this goblet to be antique Bohemian.
