Up for auction is a great vintage mid 20th century carved wood sculpture of a nude female form. Mounted to a wood base. Unsigned. Measures about 10 7/8" H x 3 1/4" W. In very nice original condition with a nice patina. Minor wear consistent with age. The statue is carved from two pieces of solid wood and thus there is a line around the midriff which is not a crack. It is a little loose on the base. Please see photos carefully for details. Vintage Pierced Hard Wood Panel Tile Abstract Pattern For Screen or Decorative
The back of this wood panel is flat and pierced. The pierced designs are beveled on the front. I think the panel was die cut and then carefully hand finis hed- tools marks are visible on the beveling upon close inspection and there are some small lighter spots. It is some sort of hard wood with a fine grain. The panel was once installed- I am not sure how- it may have been part of a screen It is in very nice condition with a good finish It does show some use and age- it is not new! Up for sale is a wonderful painted small bucket recently found at auction in Northern Indiana. It is found in good used condition and features two brass stapes and a swing metal handle. It is found in good used condition and measures approximately 6 3/4" tall. 9" to the top of the bail handle. The opening diameter is approximately 6" overall diameter is approximately 7" in size. The base diameter is approximately 5 3/4" This bucket is still nice and tight, ready to use or for display. The handle is a bit rusty. 2 Rare Vintage Inuit Eskimo Dolls Greenland Canada Carved Wood antique roadshow
These are quite amazing. I have seen two of the men appraised on Antique Roadshow. Two different times and they were appraised at $3000 to $3500. The price was the same years apart. I have never seen a female doll. He stands 15 1/8 inches tall, she stands 14 1/4 inches tall. Some small holes in the leather and her beads need to be fixed a little, but otherwise in great condition considering they were toys. These have a lot more detail than the ones I saw on the show, so they may be older. From what I can find, the boots themselves are worth almost $1000. The arms and legs are jointed, but probably should not be bent, being this old. I am just amazed these people are on the edge of survival and still have the time to make something so intricate for their children. These probably belong in a museum. Free shipping in the USA.

This is a Buffet Crampon E45/ Bb key Clarinet Serial# 381029.According to the serial number this clarinet was made in the mid 1990's. It is in good condition with no splits chips or cracks in the wood. All keys are in working order with no broken springs. Plating on the keys is solid. The cork gaskets are in good condition also. It does need new pads and to be cleaned. The mouthpiece is marked with Vandoren angled script and is stamped B45 below that. The mouthpiece is in really good condition along with the ligature and cap. The ligature is marked"France" The cap is tarnished but nothing that can't be cleaned. The case is in solid condition although the covering has been removed from the wood and the wood has been painted as you see in the photos. All hinges and latches are in working order. Michigan. The instrument looks well used with some light scuffs, scratches and small dents, yet has very nice tic tock sound. The stick is blond colored wood and has some light staining. I have not cleaned this instrument up and will leave this up to the buyer. The instrument has LUDWIG 957USA stamped on it, and I believe this clave dates to the 1920's or 1930's. Vintage South Bend 1122 Fishing Reel on Vintage Wood & Fiberglass Rod !
Offered in this auction is a vintage South Bend reel. Number 1122, on a vintage wood and fiberglass fishing rod. We do not see a name on the rod. The rod is in two sections, as shown. Measures 67" long when connected. It obviously has age and has some marks here and there, as shown, and might benefit from a cleaning, if desired. The reel is signed South Bend 1122- Gladding Group- Japan. Measures 3 3/8" in diameter and 1" wide. The bottom that connects to the rod is 2 1/2" long. The reel seems to work fine, clicks when the button is pressed one way, then reels quietly when the button is switched the other way. As you may be able to see in the photos, the reel is missing three tiny screws that go into the silver connectors that hold the sides together, one on each side of the top one and someone threaded a thin wire thorugh ... moreit to connect it. One other tiny screw is also missing but this apparently does not affect the performance of the reel. Sold as-is, so please feel free to ask questions or request additonal photos. Revolutionary War era wooden canteen. Wood rundlet. Primitive rum keg or cask.
Great little iron bound canteen or rundlet. Dates from Revolutionary War era. Small size. Appears to be made of oak staves now dark with age and exhibiting a few worm holes. Four forged iron bands hold the staves together. Each band lapped and riveted. Iron handle for carrying. The spout has an age crack and exhibits a very old repair. Cork or stopper is missing. Only mark is a X carved in one end by a former owner to mark his canteen. Measures about 5 inches by 2½ inches in diameter. Difficult to improve upon– wonderful age and patina. This is a slightly used Fender Custom Shop Woody Jr with a Dovetail fingerjointed exotic Korina wood cabinet. It was made in 2000. And was only available through Fender Custom Shop Master Dealers. The circuitry is from the Fender Blues Jr. And sounds incredible. It is in great condition.
