Very rare military Naval Officers metal trunk chest. Believed late 19th or turn of century. Strong steel construction can carry a large weight. Handles to each side and brass hasp to lock and original brass name plate engraved J B Hewitt R.N. the original owners name bolted through to top. Fair Condition. Vintage Patina. Surfacewear and aged bending. The lid opens and closes fine although fibre gasket has perished away in the main so no longer watertight. Handles and hinges in good order. No key but hasp can be locked with padlock. This trunk has been in my family for many years in use as a garage tool box and never restored. The original owner J.B.Hewitt John Benjamin Hewitt of the Royal Navy but fairly certain it was Officer JB Hewitt who gets the Africa medal as he was in the Boer war as an engineer lieutenant aboard HMS Highflyer. For your consideration.An Antique and very Vintage entirely leather,and leather cornered) suitcase and or as once called, motoring trunk"Determined age is most likely from between 1920- 1950.It has much character, and functions as originally intended, minus the key for the brass push lock.Obviously well made enough to last till this day,it is all leather including all 8 corners.The lock, buckles,snaps, and rivets are all brass, or brass plated.There is a detailed border striping around the top and each side, and the liner inside is still intact.The stitching is very heavy and I do not see one area on the entire item that has unraveled.Upon searching the in& outside, I was only able to come up with 3 identifiable marks.The latches on each end are made by Corbin, the lock has the letter"A" just above the key hole, and the ... morenumber 8 is embossed into the leather on the rear panel.A name and address from the previous owner is written in ink on the left rear corner,which has only a route& box listed, no street address.Item came from a rural area.No cleaning has taken place on this item,only wiped down to remove surface dust, and swept nicely on the inside.There is one strip of leather& buckle for the inside top panel that is missing,and the outside belt on the left front side is worn, almost detached. Vintage Trudy Traveler Porcelain Doll with Trunk, Outfits and Shoes
This listing is for a Vintage Trudy Traveler Porcelain Doll with trunk. Four pairs of shoes, a sweater, shirt, two dresses, a skirt and a little petty coat for under her skirt. She also has a little wooden box to keep her treasures in and three hangers for her clothes. She has a soft body with porcelain arms, legs, head and neck. This doll is in good vintage condition. There are signs of wear on the clothing that I noticed when inspecting the doll. Most notably. The white shirt has a stain on the collar(I showed that in the photo) Also, her navy dress has a separation, but it is on the seam of the sleeve so it is very easy to repair. Luis Vuitton Vintage Victorian Trunk - 2 inserts - monogram
This trunk belonged to the great grandfather of the father-in-law of a friend. He died in the 1920's. But during his working life, he was a railroad conductor. The family story says that when luggage was unclaimed a certain time, train employees were allowed first dibs on items. This trunk had been in the family since the early 1900's. My friend sold this to me because she's moving into a very small house after the death of her husband. She pointed out that the main padlock on the front has a patent date of 1892 and there is also#30 on the padlock, however, it doesn't match the other findings and the trunk's date would precede this latch. The original LV from the liner has worn off, but she was quite sure that this is Luis Vuitton. Because I have been unable to find that specific brand, I am listing this with a starting ... moreprice appropriate simply for a fine old trunk, but it looks exactly like the LV trunks I've found online while researching and I have no qualms about listing it that way. The original leather strap handles are in very good condition and the metal reinforcements all around the top and bottom are quite luxurious and beautiful. The two inserts and their straps and ties are also in excellent condition. All four of the hand made hand-hammered wheels are complete and in good condition. There is no key for the main padlock. Which I believe is a replacement, and I believe the original would have been dark like the side latches, and it would have had the LV mark and on its nails the word Vuitton. The two side latches are in excellent condition with a strong spring in each.

This is a vintage antique hemp Doctor's or Travel Bag or Satchel. This in an antique vintage Dr.s Doctors travel bag baggage luggage trunk satchel made of with a hemp weave. The handle is wooden covered with fabric and metal. The interior is original fabric. This piece is in good condition for it's age probably late 1800's. It measures about 14 by 7 by 13 tall. The metal closures are all oxidized but working fine. The two clasps have a crown logo on them. The 4 base corner protectors are all metal. This is a fascinating and unusual piece made of woven hemp without leather and all original.

Vintage Wooden Wall Hang Art: Frontier Wild West Trunk Slice
You are bidding on a beautiful vintage wooden wall hanging from a company called Black Lake New York. I don't know anything about this wall hanging except how badass it looks. The wood is a slice of a tree trunk that's about 1.25 inches thick and about 18in tall x 12in wide. The wall art comes with a plastic hang tab attached that you can see in the picture. The art appears to be done on an enamel finish and you can see the immense detail that went into the illustration of a frontiersman and his horse being startled by a lurking grizzly. This wall art would make a welcome piece in any art collection. I don't know this piece's true value so I'll start the auction low. This may be a valuable treasure. What a find! These are photo's of the exact case you will receive. It is in amazing condition for 1961. This case is extremely clean. There is a mark on the back where I peeled off a piece of old scotch tape. If you know how to remove it the out side of the case is in premium condition. No tears or beat up corners at all. The inside lid has two very small what looks like ink marks. Again. I was hesitant to try and remove. This is a beautiful vintage piece for that Barbie collector. Up for auction is a lovely Northwood marigold carnival glass tree trunk vase measuring 9 3/4" tall x 4 3/8" wide at the rim. Base dimension is 3 1/2" It has a deep marigold color at the top going down to about 1/2 the vase and begins to turn a soft yellow the rest of the way down to the base. It is marked N for Northwood at the base. The ruffled rim and tree bark body is stunning. It is in wonderful condition. Several air bubbles appear in the glass on the vase.
