Here is a true barn find. Right from a new england farm, super neat design on the front. Chest appears to have original hinges and side handles. There is paper/ travel stamps with early 1900 dates on them. I'm guessing its at least from early 1900s but possibly earlier, has metal overlay on top and on the corners with unique art design on the front. Inside is wood with paper lining. Chest is apprx. 24" long 18" wide and 16" high. A very unique chest, a good size, not too big, make a great accent piece.

HERE IS AN ORIGINAL VINTAGE. ANTIQUE METAL COVERED ANTIQUE AUTO CAR TRUNK BOX. Dimensions are 20' INCHES TALL X 18" DEEP X 35" INCHES WIDE. Not sure who it's manufactured by. We believe it is the original brown paint that has minor scuffs and scratches. There is no rusting through. Trunk is still very sound and sturdy and all sides are straight and not excessively dented. Hinges are good and the lid opens and close tight and square as it should. It is used and has wear, surface marks, scrapes and bruises from all those many years of gentle use. the interior and natural back board and inside the lid has been restored natural. Vintage/Antique wood and metal treasure or doll trunk/chest. Not sure of the exact age but I was told it was very old and maybe from the early 1900's. It is gold lined with a velvety material but the ribbon is not attached but could be easily attached to keep the lid from going back too far. The latch on front of chest does need repair and there is one small crack on one of the top slats on top of chest. The slats are wood and the sides. Vintage 1970"s brass metal storage cube trunk cedar lined
For sale is a vintage brass colored metal storage cube trunk. It measures 16 inches square and is about 20 inches tall. It is cedar lined inside for protection of items you might store in it. The trunk has handles along the side for ease of carrying. The metal on the outside does show some tarnishing. And some minor dings in the metal. It also has a section where the corner slat needs to be attached tighter. Right now it is taped but should be easy to attach tighter to the box(does not interfere with the function of item) This is a great trunk that could be used for many things. This trunk has been part of my family since I can remember. I believe that my father had it in the early 1930's but can't verify that. It could be older or newer. It measures 23" high. 19"wide and 34" long. The trunk is made of some type of metal with wooden stays. It has decorative tin type on the top and front. The lock has no key. It reads- Yale& Towne Mfg. Co/ shamrock around the keyhole with Y& T/ Stanford Conn. U.S.A. AB The round top has 5 wooden stays. 4 on the front and back and 3 on the bottom. The rollers are in working condition. The inside has no tray or decorations. As you can see. The inside of the top has some crayon marks(probably from my sister! a small crack by the hinge, and two strips of duct tape on the bottom that can easily be removed. This trunk has been moved to a lot of different houses ... morein its lifetime and is still in very good condition for its age. Vintage Black Metal Covered Steamer Excelsior Trunk
Vintage flat topped metal covered steamer Excelsior trunk. Has been kept inside a smoke and pet free home. Height: 22.5 inches width: 32 inches Depth: 19 inches Would make an excellent restoration project. While the paint is damaged and needs to be redone. There is minimal damage to the metal itself. The drawer lifts out easily. The drawer insert does require some repair. The damage would be easily remedied by re-papering. There is no key for the lock. I have seen keys for this particular Excelsior trunk lock. The code for the key is 5989. The hasps on either side of the lock work well. I have owned this trunk for close to 30 years. It was vintage. Close to antique when I bought it. In all the years I have owned this trunk, I have not seen another one as large as it.

Vintage 1958-60 Cissette Doll by Madame Alexander with Red Metal Doll Trunk In Great Condition Up for auction is this lovely vintage Cissette doll. She is in great condition with no stains or cracks to her body and no fade or rub to her face. She has a beautiful face. Green sleep eyes with molded lashes, painted red lips, lower eyelashes and eyebrows. The doll has the classic three-stitch wig which is still in the original set and looks good. The back of the doll is marked"MME Alexander" Both her knees bend properly. There is a small mark on her upper right leg near her crotch(see photos) She is also a little loose. Vintage Ideal GINNY Doll Suitcase Trunk - Metal with Handle and Hangers
This is a small pink and black metal suitcase or trunk that was originally made to hold the 7" Ginny doll from the Ideal Doll Company in the 1950s. There is a white plastic handle on top and a metal latch on the side. All corners and edges are reinforced with metal covers or strips. When you open the hinged case. The left side has a holder for hangers to hang up the doll clothes, and the right side has two ribbons to tie in the doll or other items. Hangers are included. This suitcase is used and shows signs of wear but it is structurally intact. The outside paint is scratched or worn and there is some residue left over from childhood stickers that are/were on the case. The paper lining inside also shows signs of yellowing. But no tears. VINTAGE TRUNK/ FOOTLOCKER Has a Long Lock and it includes the key Black in color with brass metal trim. It has leather handles. The inside is lined with paper and the outside has a covering as well. This steamer trunk is in very good condition. The hinges work well and the trunk opens and closes fine. The lock and latches all close snugly.
