It measures 36 inches long by 24 in ches tall with the lid closed by 20 inches deep. It features a remova ble storage tray and more linens. Beddings. And clothing can be placed underne ath for conv enient additional hu ge storage. It is a wood structure trunk and frame with smooth me tal(black) and woven pattern metal riveted overlays with beautiful beading to ta ck in metals and curved and straight gorg eousl y grained wood slat s. Here's what I stated about it s condition: Metal overlay surfaces have been repainted and restored. Some scratches and scuffs marks on beautifully grained wood slats. Leather handle missing on left side. Flip up side locking latches both flip up into locking position. But only one catches to keep it lock closed and the other is missing its catch. Center locking latching closes in position but does not lock and there is no key. Interior lining shows foxing and staining and has some t ares due to great age. But smells clean with nice scent like cedar inside. Truly a rare beauty of extra large size that has great looks and craftsmanship on evident in these earlier era pieces of exceptional beauty. So you may want to grab it quick, before it is gone! Note: Not shipping overseas nor to Alaska on this one. Only to domestic United States. The Lane family was unsure of what success they would have selling chests, so they originally named the company The Standard Red Cedar Chest Co. The firm manufactured and sold chests used to store linens and other items for setting up housekeeping, as well as keepsakes. Early production of about ten chests a day was sold through independent salesmen working on commission. In its early days. The business was run on a shoestring budget. Nearby buildings were rented as demand grew, with finished parts transferred from one building to another by means of a mule-drawn carriage. This little trunk measures 15inches long by 8 inches deep and 8 inches high. ... moreThere was no tray with this trunk when found but one was built for it out of oak and poplar. The trunk itself is made from pine and is metal bound. All the metal has been hand burnished but enough of the patina has been left to preserve the antique character of the piece. The lock is an Eagle lock and the latches function but are no longer spring loaded. The trunk has been refinished in a golden oak stain with multiple coats of sealer both inside and out. The original covering has been left on the underside to give a sense of the original look. The trunk is in overall good shape but because it is over 100 yrs old there are dings. Dents splits and cracks but these are minor and add to the overall antique feel. It is a very well made solid little trunk that will last a lifetime if cared for. These well made doll trunks are becoming quite rare and usually don't last long when listed. Shipping is FREE.

This is a really cool vintage trunk made by Texas Trunks out of San Antonio Texas. There is a sticker on the back that seems to put it on united van lines in 1925! To be honest this thing is in very nice shape for something around 90 years old. All straps and buckles are intact and in great shape. The key is missing. There are some scuffs and rubs from the one or two times it looks like it was used for legitimate travel. and on the back panel the laminate is kinda separated from the plywood. You can not see this in the photo.you can only feel it when you run your hand across the back.VERY MINOR. 1960's jewelry chest features double glass and wood doors on hinges with magnetic close. A necklace claw and two shelves, and a mirrored back wall in the necklace compartment. It is a good solid peice of furniture, as it weighs 3llbs 9oz. Height is 8 1/2 in. Width is 8 in. Inside is 31/2 in. deep Total outside depth is 5 3/8 in. The chest is in good condition but a peice of the hardware under the left door is missing. It has a scratch on the top and a couple of fine scratches on other locations. Nice Old Antique Trunk. I am not sure of the exact age. But the lock on it is from Eagle Lock Co. Eagle lock was in business from 1833-1954. So the age of the trunk lies in that time frame. It is adorned with black metal trim and ornate brass accents. This old trunk does show it's age in places. But there is nothing major. A few nicks, and there are a few dents or ding marks in the black metal trim. On the top front you will see there is 2 areas of chipped or worn off wood, a small amount enough to where wood putty filler should be an easy fix if you wish. There is also a very small chip place on the side you can see in pic 6. One of the hinges on the back is missing one button, see pic 9, and there is some separation on some of the brass corner pieces you can see in pic 12. I think I have mentioned every flaw. This is an original un-restored travel chest/ stagecoach luggage from around the 1830-1870s time frame. I am not sure of the exact age but it is very old. It has been stored the best way possible for the last 65 years and possibly longer. This was in my grandparents house which was built in 1897. My mom said the last time she remembered it was when she was about 10(1950s) My mom said she remembered her grandmother talking about it belonging to her mother(my mom's great grandmother) So this belonged to my great great grandmother. I am almost 40 years old and my grandmother passed away about 8 years ago at 95 years of age. Dimensions are 32" Wide. 18" Deep and 22" Tall at center of top, 20" at edges of top. From the research I have done. This is a S aratoga Steamer Trunk. The chest is wooden and dome shaped on the top. ... moreIt is fairly large and will be expensive to ship based off it's size and needing to be protected. The rope handles are decayed mostly and it does show it's age. It was stored carefully inside since the 1950s and wasn't even touched for at least 60 years. I have had the chest for about 3 years and have stored it carefully as well. I took it out for the pictures and sat it on top of some boxes in the garage for the pictures. There are metal corners and buckles some of which have some rust. The wood has a split on the top and it is very dirty. The interior is all original as well. It seems to be in ok shape for the fact it is 150-185 years old. There is some age damage to the pictures inside and the fabric as well as the outside of this chest. It was used back then and it does show that. Please do not expect a nice restored chest. This is untouched and has not see the light of day in at least 60 years and not used for at least 100 years. This is one heck of a nice old ice chest. A guy would be hard pressed to find one this old, this good. There is one small ding in the lid, and one on the bottom of the chest.It has both the original tray and wire rack, not to mention the original drain plug/cap, which is still attached, and the rubber cap holder isnt even dry rotted.Then there is the greatest feature of all, the bottle opener, and it is perfect.No loose rivets, seams are as tight as the day it came of the line.The lid closes and locks like a dream.The rubber lid gasket isnt even dry rotted, this cooler is ready to roll. Up for bid is the WOOD CHEST OF DRAWERS. As seen in the pictures/ as described in the title. Solid, very dense/heavy wood construction with thick steel channel brackets at rear corners(all four sides, see pics) Extremely rigid& sturdy.also heavy(see below) There clearly used be a hinged door of some sort, as one hinge remains and there is damage where the other should be(see 3rd picture) Features 28 drawers/ cubbies. They vary in size from 4-1/2" wide x 3-1/8" tall-to- 5" wide x 4-5/8" They are pretty much all slightly different sizes. Some drawers are a tad loose/wobbley and others are a bit snug. The vast majority slide in/out nice and smooth. 13 of the 28 drawers feature vintage/original paper labels. Most are Corbin(different screw types) with a few other companies(see pics) Picked from the basement of a genuine ... morehorder's house in Cuddebackville, N.Y. It was absolutely filthy. I removed all drawers and rinsed all the loose dust, dirt, etc from the cubbies. I then rinsed all of the drawers, individually and let everything air dry. Antique Wooden Shoe Shine Box Esquire Shoe Care Chest Vintage Dovetail
There are quite a few flaws so I took lots of pictures to show its condition. The latch works well and it still lines up properly. The inseam is 31" from the crotch down to the bottom of the boots Overall height from the bottom of the boots to the top just below the suspenders is about 53" Great condition from my visual inspection.
