Offered for sale is an Antique small trunk covered in leather accented with brass studs. The wood looks very dark and appears to be mahogany. But I'm not sure. The box measures 12.5" long x 7' wide x 4' high. Has one compartment. The outside of the box shows some age appropriate wear, the photos greatly magnify the surface wear, in person the box wears the patina of age gracefully, and presents very well. 2 Vintage Iron Industrial Stanley Tool Chest Handles Drawer Cabinet Pulls Knobs I’m still listing some items from last week’s estate sale and auction. And I had wonderful luck at this weekend’s flea market- some really really unique items, you don’t want to miss! Be sure to check out the manymanymany old hardware sets that I am listing this weel- this one is an anomoly. As there are only two. But what they lack in number, the totally make up for rustic, vintage original charm! What I have are two older vintage(if not antique- they are old) door/drawer/cabinet/tool chest( pulls. They are marked in the center as being made by Stanley in the USA so who knows, maybe they belonged on an old tool chest originally- I don't know, but they'll be yours to do with what you want. Made of iron, they measure 3" wide by 3 1/2" tall at ... morethe back mounting plate, and have an inset handle that makes the front flush with the mounting plate in front. The inset area of the back is 2 1/4" by 2 1/2- so you know for your project- see photos 6,7 16& 17 for both pieces, at the backside, and what I'm talking about. Measuring from the front of the mounting plate, to the back of the handle inset, it is 1/2" deep. Each handle weighs an amazing 1/2 lb- these were made to last and have! The round looped handles swing up to just past a 90 degree angle. Both handles are in excellent solid and sturdy condition. They have a black finish- that shows barn level/quality( dirt and dust and could use a good cleaning- see my photos. The black finish is rustic, with wear and light surface rust where the metal is exposed- you see it more on the corners- see my close up in photo 8, but you can also see the surface rust in small spots all over- there are no sharp edges or eat through/holes- it's surface only. The finish is a lot less worn on the back side of the handles. You could of course refinish, or you could leave rustic as they are- the have the BEST rustic, primitive, industrial charm! Vintage 1950's RED Pleasure Chest Metal Cooler
This is a mid-century 1950s PLEASURE CHEST cola. Beer, or other cooler. The exterior is red, with paint scratches from former use over the years. A few white paint stains on the exterior(see photos) Cooler is in good vintage condition, with the interior needing a good cleaning. The rubber seal on the lid is in good condition. Antique- Vintage Small 14" x 11-3/4" x 7-5/8" PRIMITIVE Wooden 3 DRAWER CABINET or CHEST for storage and display. The useable space inside each drawer is 3-1/4" tall x 9" wide x 5" This sturdy. Cabinet is in good primitive condition, with wear and several repairs. The drawers are sturdy and well made. And they open without sticking. This primitive chest needs a new home with someone who understands that a few scars and repairs just give you more character! CONDITION: The top of the chest has a visible repair on both edges. The top left edge has a fairly clean repair. But the repair on the top right edge is more obvious because there is a small chunk of wood missing. This repair does not ... morelook the best, but the top of the cabinet is not loose. Wood shrinkage caused a small split on one side. At the bottom edge, as shown below. The split is stable, and it will not be a problem. There is some thin white paint spatter in the same area. The finish has some wear, and there are some nicks, dings and scratches. The drawers are very sturdy and well made, but they have a few old stains inside. The drawer pulls are securely attached, and problem free. NO ODOR. I confess. I don't know a whole lot about this piece. I found it an an old flea market in the middle of the Missouri Ozarks. I have researched and researched it have only discovered the following info. The design is called Gold Leaf Lacquer. It has beautiful motifs of white roses and birds. I believe it is what was called a"Shoe Cabinet" or a"Foyer Cabinet" and was naturally intended for storing shoes in. I can't find any artist or designer marks. I don't know if it is Chinese or Japanese but I am fairly certain it is one or the other. It hast has that wonderful Asian flair about it! It stands at approximately 30" tall. It is approximately 23-1/4" wide. It is approximately 11-1/4" deep. It looks to be modeled after some Asian Dynasty but I have no idea for sure or if it is a reproduction or an ... moreoriginal. I can tell you that it is unique. There is a little wear with some black lacquer having been chipped off in some places and faded in a few other places. Vintage Early 1900s Oak Wardrobe, Desk & Chest Combination Original Finish
This is a nice. Heavy piece of oak furniture from the early 1900s. It is a combination piece featuring a wardrobe on one side while the other side has a hat box top with a drawer and then a desk with two more drawers below. This piece is in good original condition with its original finish. The chest is 61 inches high by 46 inches across at the top and is 21 inches deep. The piece is tight and not loose. The wood is nice as shown in the photos. The piece has been used and does have some minor scratches and scrapes due to its vintage condition. The interior is clean with a few blemishes. The base of the hat box section is slightly warped and the fold down door of the desk does need some work as it sticks and the hinges are loose. This is a vintage cardboard Disney themed storage box. It measures 28 by 17 by 13 inches. It is made entirely of cardboard except for the 2 plastic handles.
