Vintage Antique Flat Top Steamer Chest Trunk Metal and Wood. I don't know the details on this trunk. Similar ones seem to be from the late 1800's but this is unique in the fact that it is covered in metal with wood trim. It has a flat top. Removable tray and wheels that I placed coasters over. They are easily removed. It smells like a cedar lined trunk. I do not have the key for the center lock but have seen them offered on eBay. Local pick up free of charge. 34.25"x19"x22" Dimentions.

NO RESERVE… This auction is for a very old Wood Chest. This piece came from a Hollywood Movie Prop Sale. I have no idea what movie it was used in. The Chest measures approx. 22 inches long. 12 inches wide and about 11 inches tall to the peak on the hump top. The chest is very old constructed with dove tail corners. Somewhere all the road someone lined it with old wall paper. That paper is also old as there are areas where it is coming off and very worn. It would make a nice project for someone to re line the inside with different vintage paper. There are many old age cracks and repairs. There is a center narrow piece of wood at the very center of the top that has been replaced. There is some old termite damage near the bottom. And lots of other old scars and scrapes from all the years. Please not the inside lip on the edge is missing on the ... moreright side, but that doesn't show when the lid id closed. Even though it looks like there s a keyed local on the front, there is not. It's a neat looking old piece that would make a nice restoration project. Vintage Antique Trunk *You Grade**Great Resto Project!*
Up for grabs is an old vintage/antique trunk. I don't know too much about the trunk other than its been in storage in a basement for years. There are obvious signs of age and wear and tear. One of the metal fasteners on the side is cracked down the middle. The trunk itself and the cloth inside would need a good cleaning. I'm leaving the trunk exactly as is and I'm not attempting to clean it. I'll leave that for the professionals! The trunk measures 29.5' across 11' deep 19' wide. There are no markings that I can see to distinguish the brand. On one of the sides there is a faded tag that may give some clue to the history but I can't make out what it says. There is a tear on the bottom of the trunk. Please refer to the pictures to gauge quality. Nice Vintage Sample Trunk Made By H.W. ountree& Bros. Richmond. VA This is a wonderful antique sample trunk in good condition for its age. The trunk measures almost 9” high. 12” long and 8” wide. It has a lift out tray that features a compartment with a domed lid. The bottom of the tray is made of canvas and is coming loose. It was repaired at some point but needs more work. There is a vintage sticker inside the lid that describes the trunk and has the makers’ name. The lid does not have hinges. I’m not sure if it ever had them. The handles on the side are missing. The bottom. Sides and lid are all in good but worn condition. No holes or serious cracks are present. Please look closely at the photos and ask any questions prior to bidding. Very rare to have the key along with the case! The trunk does have some wear throughout but overall is in wonderful vintage condition. What an awesome piece of history this thing is! It's in great shape. Considering its age and that it's probably traveled around the world. There is no key but I'm sure you can get a locksmith to figure that one out. 21" x 12" x 35" and ready for travel. Or as a display piece. Both handles are still in great shape and the hinges are all holding strong and intact. This is not a family heirloom so I do not know the history of it. There is a ladies name on an old sticker label on the side. This thing need to travel the world again and this time needs all the country stickers slapped on it like it was suppose to be. A large wardrobe trunk made by Henry Likly of Rochester. N.Y. established 1844. Extremely solid. And equipped with casters and great oak slats. It is signed with a brass plaque outside and a paper label inside. It is ink stamped Patented December 12. 1911. This is complete. Fully functional, and in excellent vintage condition. It comes with the original key. This rare American trunk was beautifully made in the same style of the famous expensive ones. It measures 46" x 23" x 25" The same or better quality as the French examples. I recommend Uship or Plycon for shipping from postal code 13066. Weight about 125 lbs.

Here is a unique find I got at the last estate sale I was at. At first glance I thought this was a very old cooler lol! But then I noticed the latches for padlocks and opened it up and realized this is an old strongbox. It is wood on the outside and Steel lined with chains for the lid as well. Very high quality. I am not sure the age of it, but it could be antique. Condition is good with normal surface wear, no major damage and its a big Chest or trunk size at 17.5" tall, 28.5" wide, and 18" deep. Vintage Industrial Antique Hand Made Woodworker's Tool Chest Kit Box Trunk Case
This was obviously made by someone to carry their tools. This antique carpenters tool box has a lid with a lock hasp. The lid was likely used to store saws. There are posts with rotating parts to hold something in place, and a long divided drawer is freed up inside when the lid is open. The drawer has two areas measuring 13.5" L x 2 1/8" W x 3 1/8" D. The chest is 6" T x 30"L x 18"D. Note that there is no longer a handle where there once was and slight damage to one of the corners. Vintage Steam Trunk Steam Punk Industrial Flip Down Trunk, Cool! Antique 1920s?
Offered is a very interesting antique Steam Trunk. It is a smaller one and what makes it unique is the way the side flips down and can be removed to make accessing one's clothing and accessories easier. This trunk measures about 32 x 20 1/4 x 11" It is very well made with brass corners and brass studs reinforced on both sides of the edges. I don't know the vintage of this trunk. But the Patent on the latch dates 1924. One leather strap is missing from the side handle, but the top handle is intact. The strap is worn, but still functional at this point. As mentioned, the side on one side of the trunk can be removed. This side has compartments for accessories. There is a cardboard"wall" that snaps shut to conceal the shelves. The snaps have leather straps and a leather pull, all in great condition. The cardboard"wall" ... moreis overlaid with a gold covering. This"wall" has a folding crease about 1/4 of the way up to the top and it folds down to reveal only the top shelf if desired. This crease is ripped about 2/3 of the way across. The other side of the trunk features two brackets that swing out for one to hang clothes on. There are also side brackets and straps to secure clothing with. The top of the trunk has initials calligraphiced on it reading"H.E.R" There is surface rust on much of the brass and one brass corner is missing a rivet. The uses for this trunk are endless. A great, vintage antique steam punk industrial steam trunk for your collection.

Antique travel chest blanket box steamer trunk vintage wooden banded victorian
An old original fab steamer chest with lots of metal banding and end cap brackets. It is a original steamer chest from circa 1900's and would have been used on the ships of old Metal handles at each side. Front locks and clasps there is no longer any key for the middle lock long gone. Four hardwood slats on top with one at the front and back also. It is approx. half the height of the standard ones. So would be great for any room in the house to make a great look and not take up to much space. The chest has a nice shiny bri wax finish. It has been around for a hundred years and will come with wear and tear as you would expect which all adds character to these items, But is still a strong fab little chest. HUGE Antique Vintage NEVERBREAK Steamer Trunk Case-L Goldsmith & Son CHEST-Green
Very old. Possibly over 100 years old, Neverbreak steamer trunk travel chest. This chest is approximately 40" long x 21" wide x 21" deep. It is extremely heavy, and I would estimate between 75-100lbs+ in weight. It still has all drawers, storage box, original wooden hangers, and lock bars to secure drawers. There are original stickers on it from the cruise lines to Europe around ww1, railroad transport, etc. It has a flip up top for easy access to hangers with slide out extensions. It is missing the lock on front, but could easily be replaced if desired. As is, and has lots of scuffs and markings from age and use as a travel piece. Also seems to be missing a handle on the side? Antique Vintage Hartmann Trunk Luis Vuitton, Goyard Trunk Era
The Joseph Hartmann Luggage Company was founded in 1877 in Milwaukee. Wisconsin. This trunk is a wonderful size 28 1/8(without measuring the wonderful handles) X 17 1/4 X 9 1/2" high and in excellent condition for its age. 1920-1950) The handles are leather and are wonderfully thick and intact. Their earliest trunks seemed to be large, heavy, clothing trunks with hangers. This one is lighter, and very well made.I do not have the key. The pattern on the inside and outside of the trunk is very similar to a Goyard trunk in dark varied forest greens. The 3, yest 3 handles are wonderfully thick, intact leather. One to each side and one to the front. It was once owned by H.L.Beck. The letters are 1/4" tall and approx 2" long below the front leather handle. The outside is heavily studded, I do not see any missing studds. The inside ... moreof this trunk is in excellent condition with its matching intact tray. The tray has some signs of wear. Please check out photos. I had planned to take the partial travel stickers off, but decided to leave that to the buyer. It has been on the Cunard Line- Paris-Cherbough, Bruxelles? The Grand Hotel Du Louvre, Basel the Grand Hotel Victoria National, Hotel Beau-Rivage Lucerne, Beau Rivage Palace Hotel, The Grand Hotel Haglund- Annex Hotel Savoy, and the majority are not intact. I had planned to only keep the best on the trunk. This is the oldest, nicest Hartmann I have seen in my 35+ years of antiquing. Please ask any question prior to purchase.

Not quite enough to say about this piece. This is about unique as it gets. Leather handles are still in tact. No lock on the front but the latches still work great. I'm not sure on the age so I took a guess but it is certainly old. This trunk was covered in paper and things for a child's room and it simply looks gorgeous. Just the right amount of patina. LET'S ALL HAVE SOME FUN HERE: I have this OLD CHEST that's been sitting in my barn for 20 years that I know of and probably WAY BEFORE I bought this old farm. My wife likes new things so I'll get rid of this and someone out there in E-Bay Land can take this home. This chest is actually in quite nice shape all in all. The wood is still quite nice and not rotted etc. It's a BIG CHEST at 37 inches wide. 22 inches front to back and 27 inches tall. The LEATHER handles are VERY SOLID and still have the mfg. numbers that are very readable. All four casters are on this chest. The(what I call) cigar box is all here too. The last 4 pictures are the bad parts of this. The back side plate of the lock is missing, the inside thin paper type paneling is coming off, the bottom has some(not much) rust.
