The trunk has a hinged lid, and the original lining is still inside the bottom portion of the trunk. The trunk is made of wood, with a nice brown covering that is mainly intact, and metal reinforced seams. There is no key with it, and therefore the main lock on the front does not work. The trunk also has two latches, one on each side of the main lock, that are a unique design and work well. The trunk also has other label remnants on it from travel.

If I had to guestimate I would say it is likely from the early 20 th century. It measures 40 x 22 x 20 inches and weighs 75 pounds respectfully. This is a pair of vintage cast iron drop pulls that came off an old steamer trunk from the 1800's. They are about 3 1/2" x 4" Fully extended out is 2" These are the early 2 piece pulls where it just sets in slot and the mounting holds it in place when bolted. They work properly with no damage. This listing is for a pair of two(2) authentic vintage antique salvaged handles. These are two piece handles used for heavy trunks or carpenter chests. These are made of cast iron. They measure 3-1/2" in maximum width; and 3-1/4" in maximum height. Top holes are 1-3/4" centers; and bottom holes are 1-7/8" centers; with top holes being 1-3/4" centers from bottom holes.
