This little trunk measures 15inches long by 8 inches deep and 8 inches high. ... moreThere was no tray with this trunk when found but one was built for it out of oak and poplar. The trunk itself is made from pine and is metal bound. All the metal has been hand burnished but enough of the patina has been left to preserve the antique character of the piece. The lock is an Eagle lock and the latches function but are no longer spring loaded. The trunk has been refinished in a golden oak stain with multiple coats of sealer both inside and out. The original covering has been left on the underside to give a sense of the original look. The trunk is in overall good shape but because it is over 100 yrs old there are dings. Dents splits and cracks but these are minor and add to the overall antique feel. It is a very well made solid little trunk that will last a lifetime if cared for. These well made doll trunks are becoming quite rare and usually don't last long when listed. Shipping is FREE.

It has four drawers, all quite large, and a design that gives it a "chest on chest" appearance. This very nice little cabinet. It measures 20" W x 12.5" D x 11" H and weighs 15 lbs. It has 3 drawers that measure 17" W x 9.5" D x 1.5" H each. The top space under the lid measures 18" W x 9.5" D x 3" H. The drawers are not dovetailed and the top drawer appears to have been filed down to allow it to slide better. You can see this in the 9th picture. It has a little lock but we don't have the key. On the drawers. The knobs have long screws that stick into the inside of the drawers. This primitive piece measures 12 1/2" X 4 1/4" X 4 1/4" Like a shoe box, but more narrow. The closure is iron and would be awesome if the catch plate was not missing. The antique iron hinge is nice and could be recovered. Hardware pieces are iron; a magnet sticks. The leather handle is missing and I am including a leather handle not original to this piece. It has holes on each end for attachment to the box and seems to fits. However I am not handy enough to attach it. This is a tongue and groove wooden box and the bottom indicates it was originally painted gray. It would benefit from a good wood wax. This is an antique miniature 3 drawer chest. The top has 2 peg holes which may of been for a mirror. It is 8 in. high. 11 in. wide, 5 in. deep. The drawers are dove tailed& glued. This is a great original antique trunk that measures 36" long X 23.5" Tall X 21 1/4" wide This is a big one. I am not sure of exact date when it was manufactured. But i would put somewhere around 1940's. The stamp on the lock reads Long Lock and Lock# 907. It has genuine leather handles on both sides. All the rivets are in place. The hardware is made from brass. The trunk is made of Vulcanized Fiber. It is in sound shape. There is a pull out drawer with the lid. The drawer is divided in two sections. Wonderful Antique Painted French Chest
This ia a beautiful antique painted chest(cir. 1920's) that I bought in Maine. The front has painted figures in a landscape with flowers. Etc. It is exquisitly done. There are three small drawers and two large ones that are all dovetailed. It is very heavy and well made, and has wondefully detailed knobs and pulls. There are a few pieces of molding missing around the drawers and a few minor chips and scratches to the surface that are due to the age of the chest. Antique Baldwin Pine Blanket Chest / Hope Chest with Square Nails
This auction features an antique blanket or hope chest by Baldwin. There is no major damage just the normal wear and tear over the years. It does have a couple of pieces of scotch tape on the top with a couple of small dry splits in the wood. But I'll leave that to the professionals to fix.
