A lovely 1800's small chest of drawers standing 17 inches tall. It is handmade and unsigned. It has all the original porcelain drawer pulls which are usually broken or missing some. It has age appropriate wear on the feet as shown in the photos. There are modern repairs on the hidden portions of the drawers. The nails holding the top are iron and square. Antique marquetry spice cabinet Wood inlay 8 inch chest of drawers jewellery box
An old inlaid miniature cabinet. I am not sure whether it was made for a specific purpose. Such as a jewellery box or a spice cabinet. It has certainly been used as a spice cabinet- two of the drawers still have a faint aroma of tea. 6 drawers. Two of them covered by a sliding"door" White knob handles. There is inlaid marquetry decoration. With geometric patterns, on the fronts of the four"exposed" drawers, and in a central panel on the sliding door. I am not sure when or where this cabinet was made. But it is certainly not recent, and I would think probably in the early part of the 20th century. Condition: Basically good condition. But not perfect. It was made for practical use as well as ornament. And it has clearly been used. It has some scratches and scuffs. And some minor damage. All 6 drawers work and are basically ... moreintact. But there are minor splits in the bases of 2 small drawers, and the long drawer at the bottom(the one with the initials on the base) has more damage, as shown. The sliding"door" that covers the top 2 right-hand drawers has clearly been repaired in the past. And is a bit loose. The inlaid panel is warped, and the frame surrounding this panel has been glued together messily. It really needs to be taken apart and mended properly. It sits well in place when the cabinet is on a flat surface, but if the cabinet is tilted forward, it falls out. There are some small chips in the drawer handles. The back panel is split just above the base. One of the wooden"shelves" dividing the drawers is loose on one side. Please look at all the pictures- the damaged parts are shown clearly in the last few pictures. Brass hinged lid and escutcheon although no keys for the lock. Early 1800s i would think by the looks of the original brass escutcheon and patina. This is a 1920's Custom Classic.Stunning Mahogany& Birdseye Maple Grains& Black. Polished Nickel Hardware I love restoring antiques and making custom furniture works of art. I acquired this beautiful piece needing lots of a fine restoration. I restored it from top to bottom and customized it along the way. Perhaps you will love the stunning end result as much as I do. All of the drawers were fully restored and slide beautifully.I added the 2 carvings on the lower corners of the upper cabinet.The drawers are all dovetail construction as you would expect on a high quality piece.The stunning mahogany and birdseye maple grains were buried under a failed and very opaque original finish. As you can easily see the book matched mahogany veneer grains are first class all the way. Everywhere the mahogany veneer was placed including the ... moretop. Side panels and drawer fronts, the grain patterns and craftsmanship is stunning, I see tons of mahogany in my travels, it is hard to find more beautiful wood grains. The trim details throughout this dresser/cabinet are superb.Look carefully and notice all of the great trim styles on this piece.I love the unique"pyramid" shaped trim pieces.I added the side panel lower trim piece.The entire dresser is solid hardwood construction. It is built like a small tank.Heavy and solid as a rock. The inside of the upper cabinet and drawer bottoms are oak paneled.The drawer sides and backs are made from solid oak. The new hardware is a favorite of mine. Which I hand selected. It is polished nickel, notice the incredible detail.The black finish adds a dramatic flair to the mahogany& birdseye maple.The entire dresser is sealed with many, many coats of hand rubbed varnish, including over the black.This gives the finish awesome depth.I also finished the drawer insides the same way, making them beautiful and easy to wipe clean. C. 1770-1800 Item# 120109RPR08 This is a fine American Chippendale Chest of Drawers crafted in rural Pennsylvania of the period. C. 1770-1800 in solid Cherry. The top is crafted of two boards, dovetailed along the edges to the side boards, a fine curved molding wrapping around the entire face and sides, projecting over the facade of four graduated drawers flanked by fluted quarter columns capped and footed with turned capitals. The drawers are typical of Pennsylvania, incredibly solid with very thick secondary woods of solid pine, hand chiseled behind the hardware and each with original locks and pulls. The bottoms are hand chamfered, beveled to rabbet into the side ... moreboards and nail at the back with iron hand forged nails. The drawers are divided with cherry dividers, backed by half-depth boards of pine for partial dustboards. Three pine boards are nailed horizontally to the chest, the boards routed to create no gap, beveled along the sides with a chisel and nailed evenly. The chest rests over four scroll cut ogee bracket feet, replaced but almost certainly in near form of the original feet. The proportions and overall flow of the chest are beyond striking. With unusual width. This chest has a sense of fortitude and bold presence we treasure in period works of Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley. While the feet have been replaced, they are early and have been crafted with close authenticity to how the chest should have looked originally- while this might detract from the chest for the purist, it remains a wonderful and quite affordable period chest of drawers maintaining great originality in every other aspect of the chest. Antique Five Drawer Bow Front Chest of Drawers
This five drawer bow front chest of drawers measures 47 1/2" high. 33 1/2" wide, and 17" deep. I estimate the date of manufacture somewhere between 1890 and 1910. The pulls and key guards appear to be original but I cannot verify that for certain. The original brass drawer locks are still in place, but unfortunately we have no key. The front legs have an appliqué that is damaged on the right leg, but we have the pieces that fit. You will also notice that someone cared so much for this piece that the veneer on the top of the chest has been repaired. This is a delicate piece of furniture of light construction. The drawers appear to be made of birch and stained and shellacked. Also, there is some minor rippling of the veneer on the top of the chest, but I consider it minor but flaw enough to mention.

This is a beautiful Vintage Antique dresser. Has 3 large deep drawers in nice condition even on the inside. Open and shut just fine. All knobs are there too. Great condition. The top of dresser could use a little refinishing or cleaning up. The mirror attached is very elegant. Notice the feet of the dresser are wheels. Obviously local pick-up only. SALE PRICE $ 299.00 limited time only. First set of pictures above were taken with new camera which shows the details of the wood grain much better. Queen Anne Chest of Drawers by-W. A. Hathaway Company N. Y. Four large drawers. Two small drawers, with Dove Tail Joints. Several chips along the bottom edge front and one chip on the right side of piece. Their is a crack between right small top drawer and larger drawer beneath it. 5th picture from left side. It is not very noticable-look on the side of the chest towards the bottom right corner of the d rawer. 8th picture there is a crack on the back finishing piece. This Dresser is very old.36" wide 31" high draw is 16"deep.Top at deepest point is 18"Has Glass knob.The Mirror is 27 1/4" wide x 25 1/2" long.Mom told me it had Metal handles& was given to the Army.Belonged to My Grandmother I was told by My mom(Mom would have been 102 this year) Grandma would be over 135.Good Cond.Has been in my Home as long as I can remember.Has some discoloration on top.This is a pick-up only so U can see it for yourself.If. 52934 ANTIQUE FEDERAL MAHOGANY BOW FRONT 41" CHEST OF DRAWERS W ROPE COLUMNS
A very handsome antique Federal. Circa 1810, bow front mahogany chest of drawers. The front posts are carved as twist rope and reeded spool, the feet as cylinders. The drawer fronts are uniform flame mahogany veneer. The top is of two solid boards, the posts solid, the sides of veneer. It measures 40" tall by 41" wide by 18" deep at center. Very good plus condition: original finish, a few minor old veneer patches on skirt and some larger on lower sides. Old brasses and knobs are old replacements to originals. Top boards without wear, cracks or spots.

52762 ANTIQUE 1830 EMPIRE FLAME MAHOGANY 53" CHEST OF DRAWERS W COLUMNS
A very nice antique. Circa 1830's, Empire Period solid mahogany chest of drawers, with the drawer fronts in flame mahogany veneers. The columns are veneer wrapped around, with carved capitols. Case is on four ball feet. The drawers and secondary wood is pine. The top is of three mahogany boards. The sides have recessed panels. Chest measures 53" tall by 50" wide by 24" deep. Very good plus condition: original unworn finish, flame veneers very fine. The lock to the top center drawer is missing, four other drawer locks present. The Chippendale style brass escutcheons are old replacements for the Empire style originals. Minor chip to edge molding around the top boards. Back boards with shrinkage cracks masking taped over.

Was purchased by my Wife's Great Aunt. Item located in Broomall. Pa- In western suburbs of Philadelphia. 52 inches tall. 42 inches wide, 22 inches deep. Good overall condition for age. Top in very good condition, no scratches in finish. Small 2 inch piece of veneer chipped on lower right side of drawer. No key for drawer locks email any questions!
