Up for auction is this vintage antique infants crib. Pram, carriage blanket coverlet.It is made from a pink satin LIKE fabric. The edge is trimmed with scallops of the same fabric. It is decorated with embroidered stems and flowers. At the top there is 6 ½ portion that is made to fold over on top of the blanket. It is in very good condition. There are some small spots near the bottom, and some of the scallops on the edge have holes. There is a batting, filler of some sort sandwiched between the front and back. The back seems fragile and thin, but no holes, rips or tears. There is a small hole in the front. A WONDERFUL LG. Antique Woven Mexican Vintage SALTILLO SERAPE Blanket 85" x 33"
This is a beautiful handwoven. Lightweight, wool saltillo serape with many very fine rows of gradating color. The work is very finely woven and we hope that the photos capture it well! There are 52 shades of colors here! There are many rows- too many to count but in the hundreds! There are also small rectangles of multi color design interspersed throughout. In the center. It has a beautiful diamond. At either end is long beautiful knotted fringe measuring about 7" Each side. It was obviously well taken care of& is in very good condition with mild signs of wear. Some pilling and some color fading on the backside- see last photo for comparison between sides. We noticed a teensy hole when looking at photos- it's the little dot on blue section, below the pink striping. The white is the bed cover underneath- we'd never have noticed ... moreotherwise! Hi. You are bidding on a very old and extremely well-made Mexican silk saltillo. This particular one is very old. And you can tell that by the design of the silk strings on the end and the tightness of the weave of the fabric. It is large, measuring 85 inches by a little over 36 inches. It has a few condition issues. There are a few spots on the saltillo that I have photographed. They are small and not obvious. Amazingly there is very little damage to the fabric. I think that if you collect these, you will love the condition. I do not see fraying or damage. The colors are still bright and vibrant, and the inner diamond design is wonderful. Thank you.

Miniature Antique Primitive Wood Blanket Chest Box with Key & Working Lock & Til
Antique Miniature Blanket Chest Old estate find. This is a nice, well made wood miniature blanket chest box. There is a raised panel on the top, and several layers of decorative moldings. Dark wood finish, I am not sure what the wood is, maybe walnut. Inside the chest has a little side til with a lid that flips up, and there is a lock and key. I am not sure if the lock is original to the piece. The lock does work and the key is included. Very nice antique condition, some wear to the finish as you would expect from years of use. Antique Woven & Crocheted Together Buggy Blanket Embroidered Flowers - DOLL/BABY
This is a darling antique baby linen and I think it's all handmade. It is comprised of little 3 1/2" squares made of woven wool yarn that is variegated with a shiny thread giving a sparkle to the overall finish. The squares are woven and then crocheted or sewn together with the wool yarn. There is a 1/2" scalloped crocheted lace edge all handcrocheted to the border done in the same wool yarn. Then. On one corner there is a large bouquet of pastel flowers done in yarn in shades of pink, blue and mint green held with a blue bow made of chainstitching. The flower embroidery is kind of a crewel work and is done on the top only- it does not go thru to the backside of the blanket. Beautiful unusual handwork. It is made so that when the baby is laid in the blanket. The sides would folded over and then the bottom folded up and this ... moreplaces the bouquet in a proper position on top of the little one. I gave a picture of it folded this way. How clever. This is a definite wool and might even be Lindsey-Woolsey material- It has that kind of'itchy' feel to it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING DIRECTLY AGAINST A BABY'S SKIN FOR IT PROBABLY WOULD IRRITATE- I THINK THIS WAS USED IN A BUGGY OR HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGE. CONCERNS: the last 3 pictures show some moth damage close to the edge on one square. A square that has some pulls to the thread and a small stain right on the edge(nothing bad) It is an ivory color and the bouquet of flowers is done in pinks and blues and light mint green. this is a nice early hudson bay blanket with the red label and the owners name attached too. from Northern Maine. It has 3 stripes and measures about 60" x 68" a collectors item. There are two grey stains that have not had special cleaning treatment and that I show in the fifth picture. Also there are small spots of maybe moth damage that have not chewed thru. but they are there and I mention them for accuracy. It is a very nice thick fluffy soft cuddly wool. Seems like nicer softer wool than currently in production.

For your greatly appreciated consideration is this amazing pink Antique quilt. This was a very interesting estate sale I found this at. It was hand made in the mid 1930's with a big variety of designs. It measures 68" x 80" The backside is light lavender and this quilt is super soft. Quilt is in good vintage condition. I shot pictures of some areas where it looked frayed or patches look like they might need to be repaired. 78" by 55" inches. L. Pearl Centennial Fur Depot Melbourne Australia buggy high quality buggy blanket. The fur is very soft with coarser but still soft tips. Pictured is one small area where the hid can be seen. The very light spots are from sunlight coming through the trees in the backyard. The fur is in consistent good condition except as noted.The back is a thick dark brown wool felt and is scalloped on the edges with pinking shears. A tan cord is hand sewn to secure the wool to the fur and makes for a nice finish. Near the tag were some light spots and they have wiped lean with a damp cloth. From the Highlands of Bolivia. Bautista Saaverda Province, comes this authentic, indigenous Native American hand-woven, warp-faced Andean blanket. The blanket is dated to the early 20th century. It is woven from handspun natural sheep wool and handspun natural huarizo(llama/alpaca mix breed) wool. The blanket is approximately 71" x 56" The blanket is in good, used condition and is clean. There are no holes or significant worn spots. It was woven for use as a shoulder cover or for bedding. During its history, the blanket was once used to wrap or place foodstuffs, such as chuño or potatoes(the blanket has been cleaned) It is an attractive old piece.The four bands of design are woven in"zipper" or"beaded" pattern. There is tight crocheted edging around the periphery consisting mostly of handspun mixed light ... moreand dark grey yarns. The center seam joining the two halves is in excellent condition. The textile is well-woven with 22 warps per inch and 7.3 wefts per inch. The surface has a light sheen from age and use. This is a classic"tribal" weaving with pleasing muted colors. There is a small accession tag sewn to one corner of the blanket, indicating that it was once part of a collection. This can be removed easily with no damage to the piece.

Antiqued Ottoman Empire Textile This is an antique textile from somewhere in Albania. Macedonia or Northern Greece. This piece was heavily influenced by the Ottoman Empire in Turkey. It dates back to somewhere between 1885 and 1915. This beautiful piece could have been used as a carpet/rug or blanket. It measures 56" by 77" + 5 1/2" where it was turned under for a pocket rod) The maker used a small loom to create two panels which were sewn together to created the final piece. It contains all natural dyes, mostly derived from vegetables. Considering its age, this piece is in excellent condition. There are some spots where the color has run but this is rather insignificant. The center seam(where the two woven panels were sewn together) has come loose at the bottom. The previous owner hand-basted a pocket rod in the top of the ... moretextile- this could be easily removed. This piece was recently appraised by James Ffrench at the Antiques Roadshow and was valued at $400-600. Mr. Ffrench provided the details that we have offered in this listing. Antique Vtg Granny Stripe Crochet Wool 51"x64" Afghan Throw Blanket +Pincushion
Up for auction is an old wool afghan crocheted by my great grandmother in 1936. Along with an antique pincushion. Measures about 51" wide x 64.5" tall. The squares are around 7" x 7" The black squares are embroidered with a flower. So there is a right and a wrong side to this throw/blanket(see the last photo of the backside) There is a loosely basted piece of muslin fabric that identifies the maker and the year. Obviously this was put on quite awhile after she made it just for us to remember I suppose as it got handed down. And is super easy to remove. In overall pretty good condtion. No tears. It has no off odors but probably hasn't been cleaned in decades, I see a few spots that are probably not stains, and a light spot. I will do my best to remove any stray pet hairs I find, but you may find a few. I don't have ... morepets but my mother and grandmother did, not sure about my great grandmother. The 2nd thing was the condition. The condition is A1. Some very minor scratches and that's it. The 3rd thing that caught my attention was the quality. The design( a true copy of an 18th century blanket chest) and craftsmanship is top shelf. And THEN.the painting. It is signed, and I can't make it out, but whoever did it was really good. Delightful quilt with some not serious and completely repairable damage mainly at two ends(probably the ends that were used at top and bottom of bed) Dating to 1920's and from Rutherford County, N.C. super hanging or on a bed. What appears to be a wool Beacon blanket was used as filling on this quilt. Cross-hatch stitchery, all stitches being neat and even and small, probably 11 SPI. Backing is a white muslin in very good condition. I don't know the name of this particular pattern and would appreciate someone filling me in. This is a SUPER nice OLD Chimayo Indian blanket jacket that I believe was home made. It doesn't have a tag in it. So I don't know the exact size but I will try togive you really good measurements. It measures 19" across the shoulders from 1 arm seam to the other across the top, the arms measure 22 1/2" from shoulder seam to cuff on the top, it measures 15" from armpit to bottom waist, it measures 27" from top shoulder seam to the waist cuff, the collar measures 20" around. There is NO holes or tears, or ANY other damage that I have seen except 1 button is cracked from a knot(shown in photos) but it is still useable. If you have ANY more questions feel free to ask.
