Hroar Prydz-Norway Sterling w/ Guilloche Enamel Salt & Pepper Shakers ( 3 sets)
These are beautiful. Vintage sets of Hroar Prydz Norway salt& pepper shakers. They are Sterling with Guilloche Enamel lids. Each is marked Sterling 925. I believe these were post 1940. THIS AUCTION IS FOR 3 PAIRS of Shakers for a total of 6 individual pieces. There are no chips or cracks that I have observed. I checked the lids and I see normal. Aged wear but nothing out of the ordinary. I believe they need a better polishing but regardless, they really are a beautiful set. The enamel all seems to be intact and the colors are bright. The lids go on and stay on well. I inherited these and I have never used them nor will I ever use them. I'm a primitive rustic person so these do not fit even my formal tableware. Ü I was trying to decide if I should sell these as individual sets or all together. I have chosen all together. For now, ... moreas most people would use them for formal gatherings which means alot of people.hence the need for more than 1 pair of shakers on the table. LOL They come in the box that I received them in but the box is a bit worn. It is still sturdy but has a water mark or something on the lower edge of lid and the velvet tray has pepper or something stuck in it. Making it look a little grungy. I didn't want to wash it in case it fell apart so I used tape to try and get the pepper out of it. It didn't work so well. Please ask questions before bidding. I do guarantee the watch to be sterling silver. The condition of the case is beautiful with no damage. The watch is not properly running at the moment although. Travel Clock Description. Wonderful looking French Travel Clock I am advised that it is a Guilloche clock. Exquisitely enamelled with a pair of lovers in a garden. Ormolu and Rococo mounts all around. Gilded Bezel with original bevelled glass. Wonderful looking Clock. even apart from its signs of age it is still a rare and collectable piece. The mechanism worked for about 45 minutes then stopped. I presume it is very dirty and needs cleaning-as it was working. Please view above photos properly as they constitute a part of my description.
