He was the chairman of Harrods at this period and all items made exclusively for this famous Knightsbridge store have his mark on them. The mirror is 11 1/2" long and the glass is 4" across. It weighs 250g. The brush is 5 1/2" x 1 1/2" weighs 80g. The brush is in excellent contion. Antique French Miniature Carriage Clock - guilloche enamel & gilt brass c 1900
This is an absolutely stunning French miniature carriage clock. With a fitted leather velvet travel case. This clock is made in France and retailed in United States by J. E. Caldwell& Co. J. E. Caldwell has been a famous Philadelphia jeweler from 1839 and is still in business. The case of this small carriage clock is beautifully decorated by three guilloché enamel panels and outlined by a very intricately hand-made brass mask with gilt finish. The front. Back and top also feature beveled glass. The glass door on the back has very minor chips at the edges(photo# 11) which are not noticeable. This clock is very well made and it is quite heavy for its size. The original travel case has two hidden compartments. One for the front cover and the other one for the two keys. This pill box measures 6.2 cm by 3.8 cm and 2 cm in depth. The box is sturdy and strong. It has a good set of marks that read D&F. Silver, Birmingham, 1910. The interior is slightly gold washed. It is a well made piece. The enamel is a little nibbled around the edge but the damage is stable and will not easily get worse; the majority of the surface area is intact and very attractive. This is a nice very rare Adie Brothers Ltd. Sterling silver. Green guilloche enamel, and bone set. There is a shoe horn, button hook, and glove holder. The glove holder has a clamp, the end is made of bone, the grain is very nice. Sadly one side of the handle has chips in the enamel, but the other side is good. The BONE clamp end is a little warped, and where the handles are attached there is signs of glue, which is common for the age and material. The button hook, and shoe horn both have good enamel. The hallmarks are the Adie brothers mark, the lion for Sterling, and the letter E for date 1929. All pieces show signs of age, and it needs a good cleaning, but overall for its age it is in good antique condition. The glove holder measures 1 3/4" wide, and 8 5/8" long. With a lovely sleek shape. The centre is decorated with shimmering. Pearly white bass taille enamel in a radiating sunbeam pattern. The enamel in the outer frame is of a deep lavender colour and set with tiny starry flowers in silver. It seems that this was originally a hat pin(hence the scratches to the rear) and has. At some time been"rescued" and converted to a pendant) The unusual and attractive chain. With its intricate links is a perfect match. Very well crafted and of high quality. This is a stunning silver and enamel box. Oval in shape with straight sides and a flat top and bottom. The lid of the box has a stunning hand painted enamel with superb pink roses as well as blue and white/ yellow flowers and swirling leaves. The centre of the lid has a basket with flowers within an oval frame. The lid has a black enamel background with a pale blue guilloche enamel border. The sides of the box have two bands of chased leaves and flowers. The lid of the box is hinged and the box is gilded to the inside. The box is 2-5/8 inches/ 66 mm wide and 2-1/8 inches/ 53 mm deep. Vintage Art Deco guilloche enamel pin made in C z echoslovakia. The pin is in red and aqua blue enamel with a diagonal zigzag and scroll design. Measures 1-3/4" long by just under 1-1/8" wide. It is brass with a safety pin style closure. Marked: MADE IN CECHOSOLVAKIA all one word. In very good vintage condition with a couple of manufacturing flaws. There is a break in the brass on a swirl(see photo#4) and in photo#5. There seems to be a dip in the blue enamel but I don't think it's chip. These are under the clear glaze. Antique 1926 H'm Sterling Silver & Guilloche Enamel Compact Trinket or Pill Box
Superb Antique Sterling Silver Gilt& Guilloche Enamel Top Compact. Trinket or Pill Box dated 1926 This Antique Powder Compact. Trinket or Pill Box measures approximately 1 5/8 inches or 42 mm across from its hinge to its front catch by just over 1 1/2 inches or 40 mm across the width or diameter of its body from side to side and it stands 3/4 of an inch or 19 mm tall to the top of its lid. The compact or box is made from sterling silver that has been internally gilded or gold plated in a circular shape that has a three section piano hinged lid. The lid has a shaped thumb or finger catch on its front edge for ease of opening and the top of the lid has been wonderfully decorated with blue guilloche enamel. The compact or box has a bulbous shaped body that stands on a flat circular base and the lid opens to reveal its original looking glass ... moreor mirror that is held within the inner lid. The powder compact, trinket or pill box has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram all as photographed below and outer rim of the lid along with the underside of the body have been impressed with a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows, A Bros Ltd- Anchor- Lion Passant- B A Bros Ltd is the Birmingham silversmith or makers mark of Adie Brothers Ltd. The Anchor is the mark of the Birmingham assay office, the Lion Passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterling silver and the letter B is the date letter for 1926. The overall condition is used and near Mint for its age. The Enamel Decoration is in near Mint condition with No Chips and No Cracks. The compact or box has No Large Dents. No Splits, No Cracks, No Holes and No Repairs that I can find, the box stands straight, the decoration and definition is very crisp, the hinge is working perfectly, the box opens with ease and clicks tightly shut, the internal mirror has no chips and no cracks, the internal gilding is a good colour with only minimal wear, the silver hallmark is still clearly legible although as this is a use

This is a STUNNING sterling silver pink guilloche enamel perfume bottle. I have never seen another like it! It is a lovely iridescent pink with an intricate guilloche design. And an ornate sterling trim separated by smooth sides. Identical on both sides- there is no evidence of wear on either side. The original dauber is attached to the top, and is marked sterling around the neck. This wonderful gem measures 1 3/4" tall x 1 1/2" across the widest part.
