This piece is ... moremarked with an"H" inside of a triangle which is most likely the mark for the company Hermann and"sterling" The necklace measures 15 1/2" long. Is just under 5/8" wide at its widest point, and is fairly thin and delicate weighing 9.6 grams. The necklace closes securely with its original latch and loop clasp. This piece is unique for its patriotic design in red, white and blue enamel. The contrast and geometry in the design is striking when worn even though the piece has a smaller profile. The pendants are thin and fairly flat at the back so that the piece lays flush along your neckline when worn and the original paperclip chain is a pretty compliment to the pendants. The enamel is very bright and fresh looking, there is one tiny chip to the white enamel on one of the pendants and a few other tiny spots but the enamel is 95% intact. There are no signs of solder or repair and the piece has a bright patina. Overall this is a uniquely designed and well made, Art Deco sterling and enamel necklace, that is from the 1930's and is in Excellent condition. Sterling guilloche enamel&cut glass dresser perfume bottle
I have for sale a cut glass antique dresser perfume bottle with a sterling silver& pink guilloche enameled lid. It is a fairly large bottle. Almost 10"in circumference. There is a nice floral pattern cut into the glass.the glass is free of cracks&breaks.it does however have a perfume smell to it. The lid/stopper seems like its missing something off very bottom. Look good. I pictured the bottom view, you will c what I mean.And there may not be it just seems like there is to me this is the first one of these Ive had so I don't really know for sure. And then there's one spot on the edge of the lid where is looks like it may have been dropped at some point. I took a couple of pictures of it. just is very very small amount of the enamel is gone.and you can see it in several of the pictures. Antique Vintage Enamel Guilloche Sewing Kit, Sewing Etui, Germany, Thimble Spool
This is a stunning enamel treasure for anyone who collects sewing or needlework kits. Etuis, or implements. Quite lovely, I'm sure it has had an interesting journey. The sewing kit fits comfortably in the palm of your hand or pocket or purse. It is a delightful and cheery sunrise golden orange color. The thimble is in great condition and functions as the top of the etui. The spool inside supports three colors of thread. The top of the spool comes off to reveal the storage compartment for needles and pins. The enamel is all encompassing with the gold washed silver or copper at the ends and seams. The metal is not identified by markings. It polishes nicely with a testing of silver polish. This piece is marked only'Germany' on the bottom base. The only detectable flaw is at the seam- tiny 1/8" area where enamel is imperfect ... moreor worn consistent with antiquity. This may even be a repair. Look closely to see this in the pictures. Otherwise enamel is smooth without flaws and any'white' in the photos is from photography only. There are four hand-painted flowers on the enamel. Two pink cabbage rose designs on the thimble and two blue floral designs on the base. Completely contained this enameled piece is 2 1/8 inches or 5.5 centimeters. A true gem and rare find. Here is my Beautiful Antique Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel Bracelet. My Dad was an Antiques Dealer in New York City many years ago. He bought it as an antique a long time ago for my Mom. She gave it to me sometime in the late 1950’s or early 1960’s and I’ve enjoyed it for all these years. It has been crafted of Six Silver Squares. Each measuring about 1 1/8” wide by about 1” from top to bottom. Within each of these Silver Squares rests a Black Guilloche Enamel Circle ... morefeaturing a plump Pink Flower– I think it might be a Peony or possibly a Rose. It is bordered with a silver circular“frame” featuring pointed or sunburst-type pointed edges. As you can see from the pictures, the back of one of the squares is engraved with the word“Sterling” I don’t really know how old it is. But I do know that it is fairly old– maybe in the vicinity of about 100 years, although I can’t actually be sure of that. It has a nice safety chain. Everything. Including the closure catch works just fine. There is, upon very close scrutiny, the always anticipated surface wear and some scratches on the enamel as well as on the silver backs, but you really do have to look closely into the enamel to really see it. This is a very special Bracelet and I sincerely hope that the new owner will enjoy it. And will receive as many compliments as I have received on it over these many years. This was purchase from an estate here in Dallas where the owner was a world traveler. The round face lifts up and reveals a two sided locket. Large Vintage Enamel Guilloche Sterling Water Lily Pin– Signed This is an unusually stunning pin. It has bright Christmas colors but the motif is purely summer. White water lilies. Bold green pads, red vines and stems, all on a background of rich red. It is enormous at about 3” x 2-1/4” 7.4 cm x 5.4 cm) There are some minor flaws to be aware of. The two center lilies seem slightly crimped. And missing tiny flecks of surface enamel. See photos#4-6. I believe this was due to a manufacturing flaw as there appears to have been no flexing of the pin. There is also some slight lifting of clear surface enamel in one small area. Although the enamel is still there. see photo#6 to the right of the far right green lily pad) No scratches or gouges. Considering the piece is almost 100 years old. Overall it is in lovely condition. The old C-clasp. Pin ... moreand hinge work fine. It appears the hinge may have been repaired at some time in the distance past. The pin is stamped sterling. And has a maker’s mark that is hard to distinguish. I believe it was a mark used in the early 1900s by Bates and Klinke of Attleboro. Massachusetts. Harold Bates and Oscar F. Klinke founded their business in 1919. The brooch has the look of an Attleboro piece. Considering other Massachusetts manufacturers like James E Blake Co. C. M. Robbins, Shepard, and of course Watson. All were early 1900’s makers of large enamel floral brooches in the Attlebroro area. If anyone has other ideas on this manufacturer. Please let me know. You are buying a fabulous vintage Norwegian silver and enamel scenic bracelet in very good condition. But the last panel opposite of the clasp has damage to the lower right and has been repaired with enamel to protect the damaged area. Really hardly noticeable when worn, since it's near the clasp which would be hidden when worn. It's stamped.925 s Sterling and makers mark for Elvik and Co. There are 9 scenic panels. These vintage Art Deco Cufflinks by the F. A. Hermann Company have it all. Starbursts for your cuffs! According to the Free Online Dictionary. Starburst is defined as"a shape or design with emanating rays that resembles the flash of light produced by an exploding star. Sounds like the design that underlies the enamel on these links. At the centers is a six-lobed form from which shoot eight of the rays that extend to the corners of the octagon. Tillander Oy Sterling Silver& Enamel Guilloche Spoons 4 different spoons 3 are Mocca Spoons 1 is a Demitasse 3 out of 4 are marked Sterling Finland on the front tiny mint colored spoon is just under 4" long the bigger 3 are 5 1/4" long the marks on the bottom are as follows: makers mark of Tillman Oy which looks kind of like a stick tree crown hallmark of Finland 916H(H is for hopea. Which is Finnish for silver) Canoe(the mark of Helsinki) and the green spoons both have a date stamp of N7 which is 1966 the purple and brown both have a date stamp of I7 which is 1962 Condition is great on all of them but purple has lost a bit of enamel.
