Description: Large old French pin circa 1920 with a figural depiction and excellent detailing. It looks to me like it could have some historical significance but I am not sure. This piece has the crab hallmark on the back indicating that it was made outside of Paris. It also has the French lozenge stamp with the maker mark and we do not know the maker. You can see the marks for yourself in the close-up pictures. This pin measures 2-3/8 inches diameter and since it has the crab hallmark it is guaranteed 800 silver or better. It is heavy-gauge and weighs 32.1 grams. The pinback is the original plunger-style pinback. This piece is in excellent estate condition. Don't hesitate to ask any questions. RARE Antique French Bayard Marble Mantel Alarm Clock Art Deco Reveil 1920 1920s
This is a Bayard Alarm clock in an Art Deco style. I believe the clock to be made of Marble. The clock winds via 2 non-removable keys in the back. Clock and alarm are both functioning. It seems to keep time well but needs wound daily. Clock measures 3 1/2" wide by 4" tall with a depth of 1 3/4" The clock face itself measure almost 2 1/2" across. There are a few note able scratches or cracks around the edge of the clock face(see photos) There are a few indents around the edge of the base and edge of the rounded portion that may be natural to the stone or damage. See pictures for better detail. I believe the clock to be from the 1926-1929 timeframe but cannot be certain. Made from wired strands of tiny wax flowers and buds, with a row of faux pearls between them. There are small sprays of wax flowers at each side, and ivory ... morecoloured silk ribbons are attached here too. This comes in its original box- so pretty, with gilt embossed lettering and an embossed wreath"Les Parures de Mariees- G.O.L. Nouveaute de Paris" The box has slight damage to one corner, but is a lovely display piece in itself. THE CONSTRUCTION- This flapper bracelet is heavy and substantial weighing a whopping 48.3 grams and has a width of about 1-1/4 inches at the widest point. The length is 7-3/8 inches. It is beautifully made and designed with a total of 11 hinges and is a very articulated piece! It is quite thick as well with a pierced open-work design along all the side edges. The closure is a well constructed hidden tongue-in-groove clasp. The tongue portion is gold(see hallmarks section below) and is also hinged. It can be seen in the photo with the ruler which also shows the intricacy of the back side. THE DESIGN- This bracelet consists of 3 large silver panels with geometric cut-out designs. I had originally thought this was the way the bracelet was designed but upon closer inspection I noticed prongs on the silver panels indicating they once held stones. Fantastic 1920's ceiling light with original glass shades This stunning lamp is in fantastic condition for its age. It has a great geometric shape which is typical of the era. The shades are original to the lamp and they go a long way to complete this fabulous looking light. The glass is thick and heavy- in itself is highly desirable and collectable. Exceptional antique lace petite dresser doilies are made up of panels of embroidered net lace and have center medallions that are embroidered with delicate flowers. I'm not sure if the lace on these is bobbin lace or needle lace. I am also not sure if it is hand made lace. I AM sure that they are French- they have a tag sewn on that says made in France. Each of the four antique French lace doilies measures 13" by 9" They are ivory in color and are in excellent condition.

This is a BEAUTIFUL. Antique, French Art Deco(1920s) full size bed FOOTBOARD which has been reclaimed and repurposed. This lovely repurposed coat or towel rack is Mahogany wood which has been painted and heavily distressed for a chippy, shabby, French Country look. The color is a lovely French blue which has been layered with an over glaze of white to give the footboard a very soft blue finish. The beveled edge trim and the large center medallion have been painted white and also heavily distressed. The legs are still attached for added interest. There are three double coat/towel hangers attached to the lower section of the footboard. These are in an antiqued brass finish with a little silver tone in them as well. This is a gorgeous and large wall piece which is as functional as it is beautiful. It is a lovely hallway, entryway accent or wood ... morebe perfect in the utility or mud room. The linen is tightly woven and in excellent unused condition. Smooth and silky to the touch, it is an unbleached Champagne colour that will after numerous washings, become white, will be a complete dream to sleep under, warm in the winter and cool in the summer, what more could you wish for, total luxury. The gorgeous handstitched monogram is in Raised Silk Rembourre in Pure White. Very proudly raised from the sheet, stitched in a typical Art Deco style, the stitches incorporate tiny love seeds within the lettering, really really lovely work, its also a good size mono measuring 9" across. There is also a lovely retour of jour work underneath the monogram across the whole sheet worked ... morewith straight lines and crosses denoting kisses, very sweet.
