We are pleased to offer this exceptional. Antique, framed print. The print is signed(picture 5) The subject is an exquisitely executed sketch of a Skye Terrier. The detailing is remarkable and quite realistic. The expression is captivating. The print is framed in the most beautiful manner. The antique French style, wooden frame is large and substantial. It is finished in black with thick, carved wood, acanthus leaf and scroll accents. These accents highlight and practically cover each corner and extend up the sides, top and bottom. They are gold giltwood and are striking against the black. The print has EDIZ P.V. 21 inscribed under the terrier(picture 6) According to a couple of knowledgeable sources. This indicate that this is, in fact, an engraved reprint of an original art. The number 21 indicates the printing was done in 1921. The matte ... moreis also stamped with two insignias(see picture#7) The first is a fleur de lis with a circle around it. In very tiny print within this circle are the the words, Ediz. P.V. Fiorenza" This indicates that the print and matte were done in Italy. The second stamp on the frame is an artist's paint brush surrounded by a rectangle. Inside the rectangle are the words"Coloratura a Mano" and"Originale Ponte Vecchio" According to what I find online, this is the company in Italy that did the printing. This company was in business in the 1920s and the 1930s. This is an exceptional piece. Both in design and in quality. It is simply stunning. My contacts had also stored away some fabulous things for me to rummage through. And I bought several large trunks of antique textiles and ephemera from two particular large country house estates. There are some real treasures hidden away in those dusty boxes! Today I am listing a few items to tempt you, and to give you an idea of the delights to come! I have also posted a photograph at the end of the listing– a quick“loot shoot” of some of the items I will be listing in the weeks to come… Beautiful palest apricot silk crepe de chine baby or dolls bonnet. Trimmed ... morewith silk rosettes and lace. The bonnet is lined with the same apricot silk- no damage, marks or stains that I can spot. It can be secured under the chin with the two ecru silk ties. There is a floral embroidered motif on the crown and at the front of the bonnet. Measured from one tie to the other around the face is 32cm- the total circumference is 52cm. The owner was the wife of a sea captain who in later in life became a judge. The chateau was in the Bordeaux region and has recently been cleared where all this costume was discovered. This is a BEAUTIFUL. Antique, French Art Deco(1920s) full size bed FOOTBOARD which has been reclaimed and repurposed. This lovely repurposed coat or towel rack is Mahogany wood which has been painted and heavily distressed for a chippy, shabby, French Country look. The color is a lovely French blue which has been layered with an over glaze of white to give the footboard a very soft blue finish. The beveled edge trim and the large center medallion have been painted white and also heavily distressed. The legs are still attached for added interest. There are three double coat/towel hangers attached to the lower section of the footboard. These are in an antiqued brass finish with a little silver tone in them as well. This is a gorgeous and large wall piece which is as functional as it is beautiful. It is a lovely hallway, entryway accent or wood ... morebe perfect in the utility or mud room. Click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge I have just returned from my final Autumn trip to France for this season– there was one last end-of-season antique fair I was determined to truffle through! My contacts had also stored away some fabulous things for me to rummage through. And I bought several large trunks of antique textiles and ephemera from two particular large country house estates. There are some real treasures hidden away in those dusty boxes! Today I am listing a few items to tempt you, and to give you an idea of the delights to come! The last photograph at the end of the listing is a quick“loot shoot” of some of the items I will be listing over the coming weeks… I spotted this beauty peeking up from beneath a mound of lace and silk scarves. And ... moresnapped it up immediately! A stunning 1920s silver bullion work belt- intricately hand stitched silver threads on a silver metallic tulle mesh background. There is a simple belt buckle made from the same fabric, but it did occur to me that it could be removed, and this worn as a neck embellishment or small scarf. It is 93cm long- wider at the ends than the middle. At the narrowest it is 4cm wide, and at the widest 12cm wide. As it is slightly curved, it works really well as a scarf. I can spot not damage- and no tarnishing. A glorious 1920s fashion accessory! More photographs below. PLEASE READ. I sell antique and vintage textiles and ephemera- unique items that have history. Perfect for Jazz Doublers who play Sax& Clarinet International Bidders Welcome This is an extremely fine Stencil Professional 4 piece metal clarinet. made around 1929 to mid 1930s. Brand/Model 467 made in France. The 467 on upper and lower joint is not a serial number. The metal is solid steel or nickel silver that has a satin or brushed finish. The keys are"NICKEL SILVER" plated. Not silver plated. The keys are in great condition with very slight cosmetic scuffs and signs of wear. The springs are made of thick blued steel. Original mouthpiece cap and ligature are in great condition. These quality components and craftsmanship make this a professional clarinet modeled after Selmer Paris 4 piece metal clarinets of the same period. ... moreClarinets like this were made for American jazz musicians, at that time called"Hot Jazz" This magnificent clarinet comes in it's original leather case that is in good condition for it's age. The leather handles are very fragile and should not be used. I did not replace in order the keep the case all original which some collectors prefer. However. The handle can easily be replaced with a new or another good condition vintage leather handle. Otherwise the exterior and interior are all original materials that are in excellent condition. Included is a vintage cork grease tin of the same period, a vintage reed case, original mouthpiece, ligature/cap, and music holder/lyre. I've also included a RARE NEW vintage Rico Royal Metalite Jazz mouthpiece facing/model M5 which was designed by Arnold Brilhart. This is a working clock it has English patent 1919 us patent 1920 japan patent 1921 on the back. it is a c1920 alarm clock in working order it has a VERY loud Alarm and is quite big at 628 grams made in Paris France by the famous Jazz company Beautiful vintage French JAZ Metal Alarm CLOCK Mechanical movement in good vintage condition. Some traces of age some rust but in good working order Diam: 12.5 cms Until 1941. JAZ clocks only had the inscription'JAZ' above the number 6. From 1942 until 1967- a little bird(the jaseur boréal) was added above the JAZ inscription with one very significant detail- the bird's tail is directed DOWNWARD. From 1967 to 1975- the little bird's tail is directed UPWARD and it is still printed above the word Jaz. From 1975 until now- the word JAZ is inscribed below the number 12

Molded opaline glass and adorned with a by hand-painted floral decor. The cord fixture is very typical for many European chandeliers and well preserved. The canopy is most likely made out of brass sheet and is also still original. The painted decor is a bit faded, I'm not sure, if this is intentional or if it has faded over the decades- still looks amazing and underlines the high age of this unique piece.
