RARE 1920s French BREMSIT TIRES Advertising EMPLOYEE ? ENAMELED PINBACK BADGE
Here is a vintage French-made(I think) Bremsit Tires advertising pinback badge that I believe was made sometime around the 1920s. It measures a little under 1.25 inches long and on the front is a high quality black and blue enameled image of a man holding a tire and pointing to the BREMSIT name below. This looks to be made of silver or is at least silver plated as the reverse is quite tarnished. There may be a maker's or silver mark on the reverse although I can't make anything out with the tarnish in place. I'm not sure if this was an employee's badge or not. Aside from the tarnish and grime. The reverse has no other problems. The front displays well although there are some scratches on parts of the enameling. Any bright white spots are just reflections from the light. 1920-1930 pair of pillow cases in excellent condition like they haven't been used. They have linen covered buttons. I cannot see one single fault with these stunning pillow cases. They come to you in original state they were found in the chest so you will need to refresh them before use. They have a very intricate design which includes the White embroidery. The lace made of cotton bobbin and the central crochet inserts which they look like they might have been handmade. Sabino glass butterfly made in France. The butterfly is 1920s art deco, the butterfly is an excellent condition. It measures two and 7/8 high by one in 1/4 at the base it has the fine Sabino gold color you'll enjoy it. I have been told the mold has been broken for this piece so that makes it very collectible.

Mostly Bruges bobbin lace with inclusion of other bobbin laces and attached tiny flowers are used to create an airy feminine look! The light cotton lace is set on the stiff wire form. The hat has a split at the center of gathered crown and 2 long"tails" in the back. The form dips at the front with a tiny attached flower at the center. The flounce-like 4" wide brim extends over the mesh-lined wire base and elegantly tempers towards the back. There is a small plastic comb at the front for fastening the hat to a hairdo! Age-related damage: few age yellowings. Darkening at the base of the form and couple small rips in the crown, one near the comb- please examine ... morethe pictures very carefully! Vintage Mens Shirt 1920s iDE Co Depression Era Gussets Collar Victorian French Cuffs Really nice shirt pre 1930s maybe 1900-1930 this company George P. Ide Company out of Troy New York made shirts from 1865 until the 1930s. They were one of the highest priced shirts on the markets and one of the articles I found on them was about moving their collars up to $3.50 a dozen and the sadness that a dozen collars would not go back to $2.40 a dozen. The shirts back then had these removable collars and you would buy a dozen of them when you bought a new shirt. And then as the collars got stained from sweat and dirt you just threw them away and started with a new one. This collar matches the pattern of the shirt which is super rare to have the original collar but it has less fading than the main shirt. Look at the way the shirt is pieced together in ... morethe sleeves. Ive never seen one like that although I have never sold anything this old before. Has gussets, fabric cinches and other details see photos. Conditon: Two small stains on sleeves and one on the front also see one small hole on front which is 1/8th inch square. Collar is much less faded than the shirt. No other warranty expressed or implied its 100 years old and in museum quality shape. Its clean but could be ironed. I can't believe how good of shape its in for its age. Size: XL see measurements collar is marked a 17 and requires studs or double button to attach I guess thats why in the period movies the guys wife always has to help him with the collar. It is made of a white sheer net lace fabric with raised padded satin stitch. French knot embroidery whitework done in a beautiful lush floral vine leaf pattern. This lovely lace dress is loose fitting, with a drop waist, peplum skirt flounce, embroidered apron panel back, short puff sleeves and is sheer, lined only in net. The dress measures 50 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in excellent clean condition. This is truly an exquisite piece of wearable lace art! This rare original French vintage sewing pattern is by Patron Favoris no.6613 pub. in Paris in the 1920s/30s The pattern is sized for Taille 44 approx UK 12/14- bust 37.5 waists 29.5 hips 40 The pattern is for a"Chemise enveloppe" or cami knickers/petticoat with flared skirt. The pattern packet is in a reasonable yellowed vintage condition and the pattern appears complete on silk dress making paper BUT HAS BEEN WATER DAMAGED-Please see photos where the pattern pieces have torn.
